We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room is new and modern. However, shower room tiling can be improve further for one of the family room toilet. But the other toilets in the other rooms are good.
The location is good, near the second entrance of Huang Guo Shu Waterfall which only opens for day trip. It has MacDonald & bubble tea shop nearby for comfort food. However, it is a 20 min walk from the main ticketing entrance for foreigners for day and evening tickets. Though it is quite a distance, but it is better than getting stuck in the heavy traffic during this peak season. Talking a stroll, passing by the restaurants are ok.
The owner is fantastic — they assisted us with one parcel collection from Taobao, which was a huge help since collecting them ourselves would have been inconvenient. They also send our family out to the main road as our 9 seater big bus is not able to enter the small lane to the homestay. To walk to the main road, there is a staircase which is about 1 min walk up. Ok for young and young seniors, but may not be very suitable for very old people with walking difficulties.
Overall, this is a highly recommended stay for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a host who goes the extra mile!

YYanliThis is an absolutely amazing B&B with a ceiling-mounted design! It's clean and comfortable, with unique decor. It's located near the Huangguoshu Waterfall scenic area, within walking distance. The owner offered to drive us there on a hot day. Our family of six booked a king-size room and a family room, and everyone raved about our stay, wanting to extend their stay. The rooms are spacious and fully equipped with smart technology, including a washing machine with dryer, electric clothes drying rack, towel sterilizer, combination door locks, and a smart toilet. The amenities are beyond imagination. Regarding service, the owner and staff are incredibly kind. The breakfast is nutritious and includes her homemade coffee. The adjacent Shiweitian restaurant is also excellent, making it convenient for lunch and dinner. Overall, this is a B&B with no flaws to speak of, and I would definitely recommend it to friends and family planning a visit to the Huangguoshu scenic area.

AAnonymous UserExcellent location and artistic boutique hotel for the visit to the waterfall. Hotel can arrange transportation to the entrance. Room is well decorated and modern. However, the surrounding is in construction. Don't expect to have a great view from the room. On the other hand, the hotel itself is like a museum. Good if you expect a cozy ambience.

GGuest UserThe front desk staff member was very warm and attentive. Since it was the off-season and there were available rooms, they kindly offered a free room upgrade and even added an extra breakfast to our original booking. The underground parking had plenty of spaces. The hotel is conveniently located just over two kilometers by car from the scenic area's visitor center parking lot. If you don't have a car, the hotel also provides a free shuttle service to the scenic area. During my stay, they could drop guests off anytime after 7:30 AM; for other seasons, you can inquire at the front desk about specific times. The room was spacious, and when we needed extra amenities, the housekeeping staff delivered them promptly and with great enthusiasm and patience. The hotel has a restaurant, and for a hotel near a scenic spot, the prices were reasonable, and the food was good too.

GGuest UserThe hotel was exceptionally clean, tidy, and comfortable. The staff provided incredibly thoughtful and attentive service, making us feel right at home. The breakfast spread was very generous, and a fun highlight was having a robot deliver items to our room. Even though the hotel is only 800 meters from Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area, they offered free shuttle service to and from the park, which was a huge convenience. After our visit, they even gave us a complimentary ride to the bus station with our luggage, saving us a lot of hassle. All in all, the service was wonderfully attentive, and the accommodations and food were very comfortable. A big thank you to all the staff at Orange Hotel! I would highly recommend this hotel to any family or friends visiting the area.

GGuest UserFirst class environment! There are many very cute small animals and they are all stocked. Children can take a horse carriage, take a donkey-drawn train, and ride horses, feed small animals, and play in the water. When you get up in the morning and open the curtains, nature is welcoming you. At noon, you can enjoy a pot meal in the tent of the hotel. It is really not too comfortable. The staff are very friendly and responsive. The fly in the ointment is that there are more ants and bugs. After all, it is in the arms of nature.

SSiruiThis hotel boasts an unbeatable location, with a VIP entrance right inside, offering express access to the scenic area. You can enter the park as early as 7:00 AM directly from the hotel. If you're planning to visit Shuiliandong (Water Curtain Cave), I highly recommend taking the walking path. It's a direct route and takes only about half an hour to reach the cave. After exploring Shuiliandong, cross the suspension bridge, then turn right to the viewing platform for some photos of the waterfall's front face. This route gives you a direct, immersive experience, truly bringing to life Xu Xiake's description: 'Pearl curtains unrolled, a silk ribbon draped across distant peaks.' The closer you get to the waterfall, especially Shuiliandong and the front viewing area, the heavier the mist becomes. I suggest wearing a raincoat and using a waterproof phone pouch. This way, you can take photos without getting soaked. The entire trek takes about an hour and a half. Afterwards, you can buy an escalator ticket to head back to the hotel for breakfast. Turning right immediately outside the hotel leads you to a fantastic 'god's-eye view' photo spot, and the sightseeing bus stop isn't far either. Overall, I'm very satisfied and highly recommend staying here when visiting Huangguoshu.

CCZ4318Facilities: The toilet needs to be improved. The mirror in the room is too high. The door directly hits the sink and water will flow out of the bathroom.
Service: The service attitude is very good, and there is a car to pick up and drop off.
Meal: The breakfast is not delicious and it is not recommended to buy additional breakfast coupons. Lunch is very expensive! It is not recommended to dine in the hotel. Lunch is extremely expensive. Everyone knows that it is near tourist attractions. Don’t overestimate it.

SSoh Kien PengThis is one of the best hotels that I have stayed in China. It is newly opened just last year and the amenities and facilities are so modern and clean. It is relatively cheap at less than S$35/- per night and I booked it via Trip.com. Breakfast is provided. Although it is not the continental buffet, the noodles, eggs, buns, soya bean, sweet potatoes, vegetables, etc are equally nutritious and stomach filling. There is a washing machine and dryer near the lobby and the counter staff, Yang De Rong was so helpful and considerate that she hang up the laundry for us after the drying in order not to disturb our sleep. One of the staff even drove us to the entrance of Huangguoshu Waterfall even though it is only a short 10 mins walk to the attraction. During our departure, the boss of the hotel personally drove us to the coach station so that we could take the public bus to the high speed train station. The service is marvellous and I strongly recommend this hotel to visitors to Huangguoshu Waterfall. I will stay here again if I come again.

EEatPrayTravelWe stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We chose the hotel based on good reviews from past guests and its proximity to the minibus station from Anshun and the shuttle bus to the waterfall park.
However, we were surprised that hot water is only available from 1930 - 2230! And even when conforming to their time frame, we had to call each time to inform them that no hot water was coming. A staff member would then show up on our floor to turn on the hot water. Secondly, our room was downgraded from top floor to the lowest floor, and the reason being it was low season and they only have that one floor in operation. Last but not least, no housekeeping was performed during our 3 day stay - trash was not cleared, toilet paper and water were not replenished until we called and requested it. The hotel seemed to be functioning with very minimum staff in attendance. The front desk lady who checked us in was very efficient in replying to our numerous messages and sorting out the problem.
One positive comment: basic breakfast offered was good. The soup noodle was tasty.
