This is a six-story, detached guesthouse run by a lovely couple, and it has an elevator. We stayed for two nights, and the owners were incredibly welcoming, even providing complimentary fruit. The room was well-designed, spotless, and equipped with smart home features, plus all the necessary disposable toiletries. Definitely recommend! There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, making it super convenient.

Huangguoshu Muye Fairy Tale Homestay Highly Recommended (approx. 300 words) The most delightful surprise of my Huangguoshu trip was staying at the Muye Fairy Tale Homestay. The entire trip was incredibly enjoyable, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone visiting Huangguoshu! The homestay has its own small zoo area where gentle, adorable rabbits are everywhere, and you can easily reach out and pet them. The deer aren't afraid of strangers and will even approach to interact with you. There are also gentle ponies, lambs, and donkeys that are quiet and well-behaved. The children played there so much they didn't want to leave; it was incredibly therapeutic. The food completely exceeded my expectations. You absolutely must try the signature hot pot; it's authentic, flavorful, and incredibly fragrant. Besides the hot pot, the other home-style dishes were also delicious. The boiled pork and tiger-skin green peppers were made with generous portions of high-quality ingredients, making for a very satisfying meal. In the evening, sitting in the courtyard enjoying the breeze, and looking up at night, you're greeted by a sky full of dazzling stars. Without the distractions of city lights, it's tranquil and romantic. The staff were attentive and considerate, patiently answering all my questions before and after my check-in, and responding promptly to any needs with a gentle and thoughtful attitude. The guesthouse is clean and tidy with a lovely atmosphere. You can get close to animals, enjoy local delicacies, and be accompanied by a stunning starry sky at night. It's suitable for family trips or groups of friends, offering excellent value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Huangguoshu. Highly recommended!

Here's the bottom line: it's worth staying here. During the summer vacation, the best price for a twin room was 600+ RMB, which is a bit inflated, but understandable for peak season. Pros: 1. The hotel is on Tunbao Road, not far from the first, second, and third visitor centers of Huangguoshu Scenic Area. Plus, the hotel has a seven-seater shuttle van for pick-ups and drop-offs. It's about a 20-minute taxi ride to Balinghe Bridge. 2. The room is spacious enough, the shower pressure is excellent, the lighting in the room is bright, and there's a balcony with a fold-down wall-mounted drying rack, which is very convenient for doing laundry. 3. The service is warm and friendly. We took a direct bus from Anshun West Station to the first visitor center, and after contacting the hotel in advance, they specially arranged a car to pick us up. Throughout our stay, transfers were prompt; just call the front desk. The shuttle driver drove smoothly and communication was great. 4. It's clean and hygienic. The hotel facilities aren't brand new, but they are well-maintained overall. 5. Opposite the hotel is a wetland park. During peak season, there are bonfire parties and performances every night, which are worth checking out. If you walk further into the wetland park, there's a sluice gate with a nice view. Cons: 1. The room lighting relies entirely on a white remote control. At first, I didn't realize this and thought there was no power in the room, until I asked the front desk. 2. The TV remote control has poor contact; you have to press down on the battery to make it work. Also, if the screen turns blue, you need to restart the power button on the white set-top box (the one without an antenna). 3. The breakfast is very average. The egg fried rice and porridge are okay, but the Chinese restaurant's food is mediocre and not cheap, so I don't recommend it. In summary, if you're traveling with your whole family, including seniors and kids, this hotel is a top choice. Alternatively, Kaiyuan is also good and not far away, or for a bit more money, you could stay directly in the scenic area at Qian*Ju. All three core areas of Huangguoshu are worth visiting and can be split over two days. Remember to book tickets for Shuilian Cave 15 days in advance.

Highly recommend this hidden gem of a guesthouse near the scenic area! It's a one-stop solution for all your family's needs when traveling with kids. The entire house is smart and incredibly convenient, with a robot delivery service that makes things super easy. There are building blocks in the children's play area, freeing up your hands to easily take your kids out. The laundry room is fully equipped, so you won't have to worry about changing clothes during your trip. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, loved by both adults and children. The location is close to the scenic area, making getting around incredibly convenient. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the service is warm and attentive. It's the perfect choice for a family vacation, and I've already recommended it to friends!

Hotel is in a great location within the scenic reserve. It is around 360m from the VIP station if you decide to purchase the 3 day VIP tickets which was the best decision we’ve made: no bus queues and exclusive stops, routes and exemptions. Only 100m from the hotel affords you a great view of the Huangguoshu waterfall, continue on a bit further you get various viewpoints which are increasingly amazing. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

The room was nice, clean, and had no strange odors. The duvet wasn't too thick, which was perfect for the season. It's about a 10-minute walk from the Huangguoshu ticket office, which is also the main archway/third visitor center. If you don't feel like walking, the hotel offers a shuttle service. Breakfast was simple but had everything you needed, and there's a dedicated parking lot. Just a few minutes' walk away, there's also a street with unique local restaurants.

The most beautiful Homestay I have been to in all of China. The staff were so kind and helpful, assisting us with free transport to the scenic area, free laundry, and we're so attentive. The breakfast was great with good variety. They even gave us a free upgrade upon arrival and our room was stunning for a low cost. It is a bit of a walk to restaurants but that didn't bother us at all as it was a perfect quiet retreat. We wished we could have stayed longer, highly reccomend, thank you so much!!! 🩷

Upon arrival, I received a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Huangguoshu Waterfall, and it's also a convenient 10-15 minute walk to the entrance. The staff were very welcoming. The only downside was the rather basic breakfast.

The private forest swimming pool is truly the highlight – the water is crystal clear, surrounded by towering trees and stone walls, with lush greenery everywhere. Lounging by the pool or swimming feels like being in a natural oxygen bar. The architecture is an eco-friendly stone and wood style, creating a tranquil and secluded atmosphere. The amenities are excellent too, with a large car park equipped with EV charging stations, making it stress-free for those driving. The guest rooms feature large floor-to-ceiling windows, so you open them right up to greenery. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and offer great privacy. The staff provide gentle and attentive service. There's none of the city noise, just the sound of leaves rustling in the wind. It's the perfect place to escape the summer heat and relax, ideal for both swimming and unwinding. It's definitely on my list for a second visit!

This was the most satisfying hotel out of the five we booked for our 9-day trip to Guizhou, even exceeding our expectations. **Location:** It's right near the main entrance of the Huangguoshu Scenic Area Visitor Center, and directly across from the hotel is the bus stop for the scenic shuttle. It's also just a short walk from the Huangguoshu Passenger Transport Center, making getting around very convenient. There are plenty of dining options near the visitor center, including McDonald's and Mixue Ice Cream & Tea. There's also a Meiyijia supermarket near the shuttle bus pick-up point, and a street full of small restaurants right next to the hotel. **Facilities:** The hotel's entrance is a bit unassuming, but the Breeze Deluxe Triple Room we booked was excellent. The room was spacious, with a separate sofa area that felt like a small living room upon entering, providing a natural partition from the three large 1.35m beds inside. The toilet and shower room were separate, with the sink located outside, ensuring good wet/dry separation. The central air conditioning was also very powerful. The only minor issues were that it lacked a 'sleep mode' and the vents weren't adjustable, so it could feel a bit cool at night if the air blew directly towards the bed. Also, one of the charging ports next to the second bed wasn't working. **Breakfast:** The hotel breakfast is served at the adjacent restaurant. The selection is relatively simple, but they do have freshly made hot rice noodles, which tasted good. **Amenities:** There's a self-service coffee machine available in the lobby. **Service:** While not proactively enthusiastic, the staff were responsive to requests and always answered questions. **Value:** For less than 300 RMB a night in mid-September, the location and facilities offered incredible value for money. After a long day of walking and exploring, the sheer joy of being able to step off the scenic shuttle and cross the road straight back to your room is truly wonderful.
