Guest UserThis is a fantastic hotel, so beautifully designed. I was blown away by the room - very big, with a very comfortable soft bed, big bath tub, a path with stepping stones to the sink area then smart shower that played wonderful French music in the morning. The view was of greenery. The hotel owners were very helpful and friendly and took me to and from the waterfalls and my shuttle bus and ensured my transport yo and from the hotel ran smoothly. The breakfast was very good. It is a few minutes drive from the falls. There are restaurants in the area for food. There is a main road near by so the hotel provides earplugs but anyway the traffic stops at night so you don't hear it. A wonderful place to stay when visiting the falls.

YaowangluxueqianshandouguojinThis hotel truly lives up to its 4-star standard, even offering a complimentary shuttle service to take you to restaurants or the scenic area entrance. They've also built their own private garage with direct elevator access, which is super convenient. The room was spotless, the bathroom felt very clean, and there was even a small balcony. Plus, free breakfast was included. My only regret is that I drove 550 kilometers just to stay one night and then had to rush back to Chongqing the next day, so I didn't get to explore the scenic area at all. I'll be driving back again in a couple of days, and I'll definitely be staying here again.

Guest UserThe day after my child's high school entrance exam, I booked a trip to Yunnan and Guizhou. I stayed at Atour hotels throughout the journey, but for Huangguoshu, to avoid exhaustion, I decided against the Anshun Atour and opted for accommodation closer to the scenic area.
After comparing several guesthouses on Ctrip, I was particularly drawn to Jingmoxuan for its nine-grid breakfast, location, and decor. Its high rating on Ctrip sealed the deal, so I booked it well in advance.
Upon arrival, the guesthouse's private underground parking was incredibly convenient. The little pebbles and greenery by the room entrance were absolutely charming; it's clear the owner put a lot of thought into the decor. Stepping into the room, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was, exceeding my expectations for a guesthouse. Since I booked so early, the price was significantly better compared to last-minute bookings. The value for money was truly excellent!
If any of my friends or family plan to visit Huangguoshu, I would wholeheartedly recommend Jingmoxuan. Of course, to secure a good price, I'd suggest booking as soon as your travel plans are confirmed, haha.

Guest UserAt the beginning of the month, my travel companion, “Peking Duck” (my child), and I explored four small cities in Guizhou – Guiyang, Anshun, Bijie, and Xingyi. We thoroughly experienced the karst landscapes, caves, waterfalls, and pastoral scenery, all in a comfortably cool climate. Here's a comprehensive guide to share with everyone!
⭕️ Guizhou Geological Museum (reservations required, closed on Mondays, last admission at 4 PM): You can book a guided tour with fossil restoration activities, which is very interesting.
⭕️ Qingyun Market: A great place to eat and explore (definitely try Guiyang's Sour Soup Hotpot – the flavor is unique compared to other regions).
⭕️ Yelang Valley (watch Nuo opera, two shows daily: 12:00-12:30 PM and 3:00-3:30 PM. Kids who enjoy crafts can try plant carving).
⭕️ I personally don't recommend Zhijin Cave for families with young children or the elderly! However, Zhijin Grand Canyon is highly recommended. Enter via the elevator, and the entire route is a downhill walk, making it very lazy-friendly. The scenic beauty is truly impressive and worth a visit!
⭕️ Guizhou Guanling National Fossil Group Geological Park (the fossil digging area is open, but the museum area will open in late July).
⭕️ Huangguoshu Waterfall (‼️ Water Curtain Cave requires reservations and raincoats are a must!). For a lazy-friendly approach: take the round-trip elevator and capture a panoramic shot from above. If you're not up for a lot of walking, you can skip Tianxing Bridge; seeing the main waterfall is breathtaking enough! And a shout-out to the park staff – every restroom is spotless, some even have toilet seat covers!
⭕️ Fenglin Buyi (consider going in the evening when the lights are on – the scenery is even more beautiful. You can experience Buyi culture, songs and dances, iron flower performances, and other unique shows. There are many fun NPC mini-games in the scenic area. Watching the iron flower show from a boat offers a more direct and spectacular view).
⭕️ Kids will absolutely love a full day at Wanfenglin! Fishing, mini-train rides, woodworking, tie-dyeing, fruit picking, making Ciba (sticky rice cakes), and so much more – they'll never want to leave! When they get tired, relaxing at a popular cafe is pure bliss!
⭕️ Maling River Canyon (known as 'the most beautiful scar on Earth.' The scenic area closes at 5:30 PM. For an aerial view, navigate to 'Maling River Canyon Parking Lot 2').
Tips:
‼️ Guizhou attractions can be physically demanding. If you're traveling with children and have limited stamina, opt for lazy-friendly routes.
‼️ Mornings and evenings are cool, but it can be quite sunny during other times, so bring plenty of sunscreen and mosquito repellent.
‼️ Some attractions require advance reservations, so plan your itinerary accordingly!
‼️ Bring raincoats for Maling River and Huangguoshu, and wear non-slip shoes.
‼️ For Zhijin Cave, avoid wearing long pants or white shoes as it can get muddy! The cave temperature is around 10 degrees Celsius, so bring a jacket.
Among the hotels we stayed at, 'Peking Duck' loved the Huangguoshu Kaiyuan Manju Hotel the most. It offers many parent-child activities, new facilities, and delicious dining!
We enjoyed a cool summer with temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius throughout our trip, without any high-intensity rushing. We experienced city life, majestic gorges and waterfalls, underground marvels, pastoral peak forests, and ethnic minority customs all at once. The best classroom is always on the road; what you see with your own eyes is far more memorable than what you read in books. It’s time to get out there with the kids!

Anonymous UserThis B&B is conveniently located close to Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area. The environment is beautiful, and the facilities are comprehensive, even boasting an elevator. The breakfast spread is generous, and there are many dining options nearby. The owner and staff were incredibly thoughtful; they not only upgraded our room for free but also helped us with our luggage. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, featuring a wet/dry separation in the bathroom and a full range of toiletries, including excellent shampoo. There's also a terrace on the 7th floor with a great view. Overall, it was an excellent experience for a family trip.

Hailigenshitate_Facilities: The hotel is a fair distance from the entrance to Huangguoshu, but it offers a car shuttle. We drove there ourselves. We traveled off-peak, so we were picked up in the afternoon of the first day. Pick-ups are closed after 9 PM, so please be mindful of your schedule. However, there are many Qingju electric bikes in Huangguoshu, which was very convenient. We rode them back home on our first night.
Cleanliness: I highly recommend it! Excellent! However, we were exhausted that day and left early the next day, so we didn't use the shower. The toilet was very good, with alcohol wipes provided for self-wiping.
Environment: We stayed on the 7th floor. The window offered a mountain view, but that wasn't particularly useful for a special forces unit, as we didn't have time to see it. The elevator didn't indicate which floor it reached, which was a bit inconvenient.
Service: I highly recommend the hotel front desk. We arrived that afternoon to avoid peak traffic and head to the Great Falls, but it rained heavily. The beautiful receptionist waited until the rain subsided to let us know and then took us there. The front desk, the handsome guy who escorted us, and the handsome guy who parked our car were all excellent! The service was impeccable!
In short, if you are not so picky about the hotel's location, this hotel is worth staying at!

The experience at Huangguoshu Heyue Shanju Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The location is very close to the scenic area, making transportation super convenient. The room was clean and tidy, with stylish decor, and the bedding was so comfortable I slept wonderfully. The owner was incredibly warm and attentive, even offering thoughtful travel advice. Waking up to the sound of birds in the morning, with fresh air and distant mountains like painted brows, felt like a true paradise. The value for money is excellent. If you're visiting Huangguoshu, staying here is definitely a smart choice. Highly recommend!

Guest UserBooked two rooms! Highly recommend ~ comfortable rooms, attentive service, and a convenient location! We had a lot of luggage from our road trip, and they thoughtfully helped us load it into the car. You should try the tea in the hotel lobby, it's delicious. They even refilled our hot water kettle, which was very much appreciated ~ The location near the scenic area is also super convenient ~ there's a VIP service that picks you up and drops you off at the hotel! Walking to the nearby Zangxiangge restaurant for a meal is also a great option!

NanianzhudongtianUpon arrival, I received a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Huangguoshu Waterfall, and it's also a convenient 10-15 minute walk to the entrance. The staff were very welcoming. The only downside was the rather basic breakfast.

I called the hotel to arrange a pick-up for two elderly relatives. Even though their regular driver was off, the owner managed to find a car to bring them to the hotel. My relatives were very pleased with the room I booked for them; they even sent me a video showing the nice view from the window. They also mentioned the room was spacious and clean.
