Cambridge Hotels with Breakfast

I had a very pleasant stay. The location is excellent just a short walk from the train station and within easy reach of the city centre and riverside areas. The hostel was clean, well organised, and felt safe throughout my stay. My room was simple but comfortable, with clean bedding and sufficient storage space. The shared bathrooms were well maintained and regularly cleaned. The staff were friendly, professional, and happy to help with directions and local tips, which made settling in very easy. I also appreciated the communal areas, which were relaxed and suitable for catch up with other travellers or just unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Overall, this hostel offers very good value for money and is a great choice for budget-conscious travellers visiting the city.

I absolutely love the modern British style of this hotel. The public areas are incredibly well-designed and the atmosphere is very chill. I stayed in The Gormley apartment, which had excellent natural light and pleasant views from the window. The kitchen was fully equipped, even with a dishwasher, making it as convenient as being at home. The breakfast quality was great, with hot food and a full English breakfast option available. All the staff were polite and enthusiastic, proactively helping with luggage and calling taxis. Cambridge itself isn't large, so getting to all the attractions from the hotel was very convenient. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cambridge!

This is also a very good hotel. The front desk service was excellent. Initially, there was an issue with the air conditioning in my room – it couldn't be manually adjusted. I informed the front desk, and they immediately moved me to a new room. The AC in the new room worked perfectly, making my stay very comfortable. Thumbs up for the service! The breakfast was good. My favorite dishes were replenished constantly, and the fish was delicious. The coffee was also nice. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable.

The hotel is a 15-20 minute drive from Cambridge. There's a gas station and a large supermarket next door with a good selection of items. Breakfast is standard, a typical English breakfast. The car park is spacious, perfect for those traveling by car, and the rooms are quite new.

Nice, modern hotel. However, you need to be careful which side your room is on, as one side is directly next to the train tracks and trains run there day and night.

The Ashley Hotel is conveniently located north of the city center, very close to Cambridge University, making it easy to get around. It boasts pleasant surroundings, a full range of well-maintained facilities, and excellent service. Overall, it offers great value for money.

You can get to this college from Cambridge train station by bus, followed by a short walk. Check-in is at the main entrance, and there's a free water dispenser nearby for still water, no sparkling. The room I stayed in was quite a long walk from the entrance. The room size was decent, but it lacked ventilation and the facilities were old. A double bed for two people felt a bit cramped, and the bedding was also a bit worn. If you have a large suitcase, you'll have to carry it up to the first floor. Breakfast was a standard English breakfast, and the dining area was quite small. Mainly stayed for a quick overnight stop, and it was relatively cheap if booked in advance.

I have stayed here many times and really enjoyed my stay but this time not so great there was a huge gap under the door letting in loads of light from the corridor so had to roll a towel up the block the gap. There is normally spare pillows but not this time we had 2 very flat pillows so did not get a good sleep at all

The staff absolutely brilliant! The hotel full of characters, the design and layout are fantastic. Certainly I love it. The room I had is at the top floor ( kind of loft ) as I booked only for one person myself. It’s gorgeous when the front and back windows open, the breeze was amazing especially when the temperature was 38 degree in a no air conditioning hotel. One view through the window is River Cam and Jesus Green. Also steps away from my daughter’s college accommodation. It’s the reason why I chose to stay here.  Only thing is that no lift  and no air conditioning for the whole of hotel, if you come here for summer, better to check weather first if you can bare the heat , and whether you are heavy travellers, I mean if you need lift up down the room with your luggages or personal health conditions. I m not heavy traveller myself this time, but my daughter was moving her uni stuff to a new accommodation, we had to move some of her stuff into the hotel room first , then later moving into her new accommodation after certain checking in time by college policy, so we were very struggling to carry the large suitcases up and down . Saying this, we d like to thank the staff from reception who offered to carry two large suitcases up to my room at the top floor when the temperature was 38 degree. As I was kind of in a shock about no air conditioning in a hotel for such high temperature and forgot to leave him a tip. I d love to do so if I visit again and see him.  Anyway thanks the hotel and  the staff very much for having me there few days. A very special thanks to the guy at the reception who helped us to get our two large luggages to my room. You are absolutely an amazing example to present your hotel. The way you treating your customers is very professional, thoughtful, kind and appreciated. Thank you.

Single bed was small and not particularly comfortable, double bed was better, however there was mould on the bathroom ceiling and the toilet seat wasn’t attached properly. We were only given two towels although the room was booked for three. Otherwise, the room was clean enough and the service was very helpful. Free parking which wasn’t clear when booking.
