AAnonymous UserMy recent stay here was amazing. It has the best location as everything you need is just a few steps away. Beach front and very convenient. I love the infinity pool. I'm also satisfied with the service especially the staff at the infinity pool, they're friendly and very accomodating. The buffet breakfast is one the best in the island.

RRyan MacInteresting hotel, the best way to consider the hotel is rather like a 4 star Spanish or Turkish hotel. Interesting arrival via private boats, down a service alley after a welcome drum beach welcome. Friendly staff but they don't remember you, you'll eventually want to never have to say your villa or room number ever again and have the number forever ingrained in your mind. Service was a sensation of everything being disctintly OK, nothing at all poor or bad just nothing good or exceptional. The feel of a Wetherspoons crossed with a boom box discotheque. Both rooms and villas are very cozy, if you like space or a spacious feel this isn't for you, if you want affordability and beach vibes you've found your home. Details lacking such as stained sofas and receiving another guests laundry in our laundry service. Overall it's a good hotel, but not what you consider a true 5 star and will leave you feeling underwhelmed.

GGuest UserAmazing service from F&B staff, housekeeping and lifeguard at the pool. My 1 yr old enjoyed the amenities as there are a lot options to play with The complimentary access to Brighbuds Play Club is a nice gesture. They have a beautiful swimming pool The amenities are clean Housekeeping is quick to attend to our needs Breakfast options could be improved, especially like us who stayed for 7 days, we were looking for variety of food choices. Add more fruits. Replace the fish fillet dishes with dried fish perhaps.

NNakaru SanShore Time Hotel Boracay is often considered one of the best ”value-for-money” options in the highly coveted Station 1 area. While it isn’t a massive luxury resort, it excels at providing a clean, boutique experience for travelers who want to be in the quieter, more premium part of White Beach without the five-star price tag. Here is a comprehensive review based on current guest feedback and hotel features. 📍 Location: The Sweet Spot The hotel is located right along the main road of Station 1, which means: • Beach Access: You are literally 20–30 steps away from the finest white sand on the island. While it is not directly on the sand (you cross a small paved path/road), it feels like a beachfront property. • The Neighborhood: It is much quieter than Station 2 but still walkable (about 10 minutes) to D’Mall. You are also very close to iconic spots like Willy’s Rock and Jonah’s Fruit Shake. • Convenience: There is an Andok’s (famous local roasted chicken) and a 7-Eleven nearby, making late-night snacks very easy to find. 🛏️ Rooms & Amenities The rooms are known for being modern, minimalist, and exceptionally clean, though they vary in size. • Room Types: * Loft Rooms: Popular for groups or families; they utilize vertical space well. • Deluxe/Penthouse: Offer more space and, in some cases, partial views of the ocean. • Key Features: Strong AC (essential in Boracay), surprisingly fast Wi-Fi for the island, and very comfortable bedding. • Note on Accessibility: The hotel does not have an elevator. If you have mobility issues, be sure to request a lower-floor room. ⭐ The Highlights (Pros) • Exceptional Service: This is the most consistent praise in reviews. Guests frequently mention the ”warm welcome” with cold towels and drinks, and security guards who proactively help you cross the street to the beach. • Breakfast: Most bookings include a plated breakfast (Filipino or Continental) served at their partner restaurant, often praised for its quality and view. • Price Point: In an area (Station 1) dominated by expensive luxury hotels like Discovery Shores or Henann Prime, Shore Time offers a similar location for a fraction of the cost. ⚠️ Things to Consider (Cons) • Room Size: Some entry-level rooms (like the Pads or Lofts) can feel a bit snug if you have a lot of luggage. • Road Noise: Because it’s right on the main path, rooms facing the front may pick up some street noise during the day. • No Pool: Unlike the larger resorts, Shore Time does not have a swimming pool. However, with the best part of White Beach right outside, most guests don’t find this to be a dealbreaker. 🏆 Final Verdict Perfect for: Budget-conscious couples, small families, or solo travelers who prioritize a clean room and a prime Station 1 location over resort-style facilities like pools or gyms. Skip if: You want a ”secluded” resort experience or require an elevator and sprawling garden grounds. Would you like me to look up current room rates for your specific travel dates or check if they have any ongoing promos?

Kk_fr_23We stayed in Movenpick for one whole week following the recommendation from a friend who stayed there twice already when she traveled to Boracay, and on the whole, we didn’t regret this choice either. We’ll share some positive things first, then negative. It was our first time to visit the island, and we knew that the White Beach area is always crowded, full of beggars and people offering you to go sailing or try out massage at their salon literally every five steps which is quite annoying. On the contrary, Movenpick is a quiet and secluded place where you can enjoy your vacations at the fullest. The prices in the resort restaurants are almost the same as in the White Beach cafes, maybe a little higher, but the food is way more delicious (we especially loved the dishes in Brezza). We didn’t expect it to be so good after reading some negative reviews on Ctrip, so it was a nice surprise. The breakfast was also amazing, with a variety of options and outstanding service (and they do have black coffee, so don’t trust those who mention that there is no coffee at the breakfast buffet). But what impressed us most was a very warm and friendly attitude of all staff to every single guest. They always approached us with a big smile, and after several days of staying, they could even remember our cocktail preferences at daily Happy Hour! Nice little sweet treats at Chocolate hour, live music from 6pm daily, plenty of space and activities offered at the resort - we loved it a lot. However, there are some tiny things you must know before booking. Half of the swimming pool might be closed for maintenance, which is totally understandable yet isn’t what you expect when choosing this hotel (neither it is convenient nor pleasant to see). Although the rooms are comfortable and clean, you can see they haven’t been renovated for a while (AC/fridge are quite noisy, some things like shower gel dispenser might get broken easily - but they can be replaced at once if you inform the hotel). Last, if you are unlucky with neighbours (especially if there’s a family with an infant in the room one floor above yours), then you might enjoy terrible noise all the day as the rooms are not soundproof. We couldn’t sleep for 2 nights, and only on the 3rd night we were offered a bigger room for sleeping overnight (but the AC was loud there, not to mention some weird sounds outside in the middle of the night - could be an electricity generator or something else - that woke us up and we had to move back to our main room with the hope that our neighbours were fast asleep). In a word, it is recommended to bring some earplugs and not hesitate to inform the receptionists about any problem you have at once and ask for an immediate solution. Generally speaking, if we ever decide to return to Boracay for vacations, it’s highly likely we will choose Movenpick for the whole stay time again.

GGuest UserWe stayed at Belmont Hotel Boracay for 3 nights and 4 days, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is excellent—secluded and peaceful, offering a sense of privacy that’s perfect for a relaxing getaway. The amenities were well-maintained and enjoyable, and the staff were consistently friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. One of the standout features was the complimentary shuttle service, which made it easy to explore the area and return to the hotel hassle-free. Overall, a great choice for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and tranquility in Boracay.

YYson VlogThey upgraded us to a villa room near the pool area, as Im with my Senior parents, The hotel has no lift, so better if you are with senior book the lower ground floor, Then got briefing after check in, if want to clean the room leave the key at the counter, however our room was not clean as per the briefing. The food was nice, mostly cooked without oil, except for the fried chicken. The room a but old but acceptable. Overall is ok. With souvenir bracelet personalized with your name

Guest Reviews & Ratings: The hotel’s rating on ******* is notably low—2.0 out of 10, also described as 2/10 “Terrible” in its reviews. Reported issues include poor cleanliness, cockroach sightings, and unprepared room readiness at check-in. One guest review noted an instance of cockroaches in the bed, prompting an early check-out despite the location being praised. Another user noted a sarcastic remark from staff concerning transportation pricing, contributing to a negative service impression. Contrasting reviews from Google (via other aggregators) show a more mixed experience: One praised the helpful staff, clean rooms, fresh breakfast, and well-maintained lobby. Another cited serious issues like leaking ceilings and extra charges for linen cleaning. --- Summary: Is Wald’s Place a Good Choice? Aspect Observations Location Excellent—very close to the beach, D’Mall, and Station 2 attractions Amenities Basic – includes Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, communal kitchen, and optional breakfast Room Quality Mixed – some mention leaking ceilings and cleanliness issues Service Mixed – some guests report helpful staff; others cite poor service or tone Value Affordable pricing, but negatives could outweigh savings If you're looking for a budget-friendly spot with a fantastic location, this could be an option—if you’re prepared for simplicity and potential issues. --- Alternatives You Might Consider in Boracay If the concerns above give you pause, here are some alternative recommendations in Boracay that may offer a more comfortable experience: Nearby mid-range and upscale hotels: Opt for places like Henann Regency Resort & Spa, Boracay Vacation Club, or similar resorts located in or around Station 2; they tend to offer more consistent amenities and service. Guesthouse-Style Accommodations: If you want something affordable yet reliable, search for guesthouses or pensions with strong recent reviews or popular listings on ***********, Agoda, or similar.
