NH Collection Budapest City Center

Budapest|1.17km from Masjid Al-Huda
The NH Collection Budapest City Center provided a decent stay for my first (and hopefully not last) visit to Budapest, Hungary. I stayed nine nights in November 2021 and opted for one of the residence apartments with a second floor. The amount of space provided was impressive. Loved having a balcony on both floors. Did not use the smaller bath downstairs very much. The apartment provided a microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and combination clothes washer/dryer. I was very pleased with he amenities offered in the apartment. I was very happy that the upstairs bathroom had a shower, which did NOT leak! Many other hotels are installing showers with a completely useless half shower door. The upstairs shower was a full enclosure and did not suffer an extremely wet floor with damp towels after showering. Bravo NH Collection Budapest City Center! The staff at the hotel were very helpful and I very much appreciated that the breakfast staff did not turn guests away if they showed up for breakfast after breakfast had ended. Guests were still allowed to have breakfast as long as food items were still available to be taken. However, after a few days, the breakfast options are a bit boring (same every day). The coffee is outstanding and offered all day long. Cookies and other snacks are available as well. I noticed that the business center computers still had Windows 7 installed?! Perhaps change that and update the operating system on the computers. Needless to stay, I did not use those computers. As others have mentioned, the hotel is within walking distance to an accessible MTS underground train station, Lidl grocery, the New York Cafe and a very good burger restaurant (Vaslap). All things considered, I would probably consider staying again or recommend to others opting to visit Budapest. Hope this review helps!

Triple M Hotel

Budapest|0.51km from Masjid Al-Huda
Trust me , I tried to be fair by emailing them to give me a decent clean room as I was gonna rate them on TripAdvisor although most reviews here were negatives . I ended up complaining to reception twice. And I've never ever had to complain about a room before so badly after staying in hotels around the world for so many years Not mentioning that I have 10 years experience working in the Hotel industry between 4 different hotels in the UK. Triple M Hotel is basically a pretentious 2star accommodation pretending to be a 3-star hotel but they are miles from that. I have had 3 rooms to look at , the first room had two desks with no tables , toilet seat broken and stain, hair on bed , hair on fridge , curtains that only cover 80% of the window . No access to air con and just a very depressing hospital looking room. Nothing like why they show on their website. No kettle. No ironing, no complimentary tea or coffee but that's ofcourse optional from the hotel I guess. The 2nd room and 3rd room was slightly better . It had chairs, it had a desk. Some fake flowers to cheer up your mood . All rooms have a tiny cute 26” TV , make sure you bring your binoculars . All rooms have a cabinet/wardrobe with no door , seems like they ran out of budget to add the doors . All rooms had these sponge foam matress , its uncomfortable so don't expect a good sleep. When your laying on the matrese , it feels like you're slowly being sucked in by quick sand . Bathrooms look dated , if you love the 80's , this may be your style . some bathrooms don't even have a shower curtain, unsure why . All rooms are Super size enough to have 10 people around, but all rooms look super depressing . It says their close to the city but thats debatable , its like 10min walk to the metro , then another 3 stops to the city . I wouldn't class it as near the city . Also , if you're paying extra for breakfast, please note .... they give you different time slots to have breakfast depending which floor you're sleeping at . So if you hate waking up at 7am , don't stay on 1st floor . Cos you're time slot is 7am til 8.30am . Absolute ridiculous. First hotel I've ever stayed that gives you such time slots for breakfast. I think they need to revise on this , some people may not wake up this early . How sage is the area ? Every street corner in the area are full of drunks and homeless people . Not really safe for the average family, especially if you are a girl travelling alone . Be extra careful , this is like some ghetto back alleyway place. Will I stay here again ? No chance Is this the most convenient place to stay near the city on a budget ? No. There are other better hotel options Is the service good from hotel staff ? Very miserable staff , they only give single worded answers , worse than talking to a robot If you wanna be depressed during a holiday stay. Then yes , come stay here. My verdict 1/10 for general stay 1/10 good nights sleep 1/10 Near city ? Sorry

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The trams outside are non stop and even with ear plugs you can still hear them rattling along. The lobby area of each floor is set out in a big circle with the rooms round the outside and a hole in each floor all the way to the top so the noise of guests even from different floors carries like mad. On our final night a party came in late and were making so much noise running around and slamming doors that we couldn’t sleep and had to phone down to reception to ask them to send someone to shut them up. (Please don’t think I’m usually ‘that person’ as I’m really not!) The maids also started very early and are not in the least bit quiet….at times it felt like they were in the room with us. It’s a shame as the hotel is clean and the rooms are really nice and big. Powerful shower and comfy bed (tho lack of pillows meant we had to use the sofa cushions!) About a 20 minute walk from the ‘centre’ area - the area the hotel is in is pretty grubby but there’s a Tesco across the road for snacks and a metro station also very close. About a 20 minute walk from Astoria stop if you’re getting a bus from the airport. Very limited bar, no restaurant for anything other than breakfast, and no drinks making facilities in the room. I wouldn’t give the hotel 4 stars to be honest. The reception staff and breakfast staff were lovely, couldn’t fault them at all. Just a shame about the racket, by the end of the weekend we were dead on our feet, partly due to all the walking you usually do on a city break but mainly due to the lack of sleep! Because of this, I 100% would not stay here again and couldn’t recommend it to anyone who values a decent nights sleep.

The location is very good, on a pedestrian street opposite the supermarket, downstairs with a restaurant, pizzeria and beer hall. On the diagonal is Las Vegas **. If you take a taxi from the outside, you will find a shopping mall at the end of the pedestrian road. Among them are banks, money changers, supermarkets and Eve. Shoe store. My boss is Chinese and enthusiastic.

Very good apartment! All utilities are provided in the kitchen so you can cook yourself whatever you want and there are grocery stores nearby! It’s in a really good location! The apartment was clean! Only negative is that you have to leave a deposit which they say is returned the next day but it took almost three days before the deposit was returned! Overall I will stay here again next time I’m in Budapest!

Great location, right on a strip of restaurants with a shopping mall less that 30 seconds walk. The apartments are built on top of a Lidl so great for purchasing food to cook at home. There’s a great range of appliance and kitchenware, alongside a washing machine and iron. All in all it’s perfect and very well presented. Only thing that let them down was the cleanliness, we found hair everywhere (even round the sink and in the bath) balcony was dirty and so were the table and chairs. If it was properly cleaned I would have said 5*

370 meters from the East Railway Station, there is no need to take a car to go out. It is a dense scenic spot. It is very nervous to come to Europe alone, resulting in higher blood pressure. The hotel service staff is really good. They are enthusiastic and patient. They are suitable for the local area. Today's beautiful.

For the price we paid we were pleasantly surprised! The room was lovely, clean and comfortable, but the breakfast really surprised us! There was a lot of choice, the food was really good, and there even was gluten free options available which are usually hard to find! The staff was very accommodating and the 24h reception real handy. We will definitely be back! Also we very much appreciated finding a full water bottle in our room as we checked in on a very hot day, and very happy that the room had a safe.

Excellent location, right by the M4 station and a few meters from the 4/6 tram line. The hotel is basically a floor in an apartment building, it’s not a huge enterprise and I have to say that it is more of an advantage. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming, I was offered to have tea/coffee free of charge at the breakfast facility. The room was sparkling clean and nice, with an AC already on (such a relief after +36 outdoors). I only spent 1 night at the place but I was able to leave my luggage free of charge until the evening of the day of departure. All in all I’m very satisfied with my stay. The only thing coming across my mind that I would improve is the soundproof of the doors.
