Check in was smooth and I come for the design of the hotel. Location is Right at the beach and the Blue Line park train station. The swimming pool is superb at the roof top with stunning ocean view. Appreciated the floor manager who he has also studied in Australia had offered some chilled beverages to welcome us added a heart warming experience in our stay! Until next time we will see again!
Check in time is very straight at 3:00 pm and 11:00 am check out time is very common in Busan, however it would be stressful a bit for slow travelers who had a red eye flight arrived 6am would be challenging. So I had to pay extra for checking in earlier.
Dining services seem not happening within the hotel but some restaurants are in walking distance along the beach.

Cool modern hotel located near Sonjeong beach. I loved this area. More local than Haewoondae but many shops around and short walk to the beach. Tourism ocean railway station is located right in front of the hotel. Rooftop swimming pool was nice. Nice oceanview from the balcony in the room.

The highlight of this hotel is definitely the rooftop pool; small but very charming and the fun designed rooms, all of which come with guaranteed sea views.
In terms of location, I really enjoyed the beach and the scenic walk along the old train tracks. It’s also conveniently close to the Blueline Park capsule and Haedong Yonggungsa Temple. However, the hotel is quite far from everything else in Busan, so you’ll likely need to rely on taxis to get around efficiently. Otherwise, you'll spend a lot of time commuting. For reference we used Uber:
Train station to hotel: 40 mins – 26,000 KRW
Hotel to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple: 10 mins – 5,800 KRW
Hotel to Gamcheon Culture Village: 50 mins – 26,000 KRW
Hotel to Blueline Park capsule: 10 mins – 7,000 KRW
Hotel to Busan Central Bus Terminal: 40 mins – 27,000 KRW
Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. A hotel of this standard should not need to be reminded four times to fix an issue as basic as Wi-Fi ( and did not manage to ). Only after repeated complaints did they offer breakfast as compensation when I said sorry is not good enough. If you can even call it "breakfast"; at 8:15 AM, they were already out of orange juice, despite breakfast starting at 8:00 ( a croissant with a juice or coffee and 1 cherry tomato and one quater of an orange... ) That’s simply not good enough. There is room to improve.

The hotel staff at front desk were unfriendly during check in and check out. In fact, when we asked a few questions about the local attractions, he seemed annoyed to answer our questions. The bathroom shower creates huge puddle of water spilled onto the floor due to a very poor design of the bathtub partition. We will not return.

It is just right infront of Haeungdae blue line park where you can just purchase ticket over the table hassle free. A very nice view of sunrise and sunset in the hotel, and aesthetic design of the lobby, very fresh.

Beautiful hotel, the room is clean. Not much to say on the hotel. That is five star for me. For this reason I will focus my review on the “extra” services. Very good the presence of the rooftop pool, they have two pools. The big one had cold water (too cold to be used) and the small one had hot water. They also have a small gym in the basement, good idea.
There is a laundry room but the washing machine was broken (that is what they told me)
I also want to mention the bar they have inside the hotel (GROTTO bar). The barman is very nice, very professional. The drink were very well made. BUT I was really annoyed by the menu. In every korean business you can see full prices (like 4500 won) or prices divided by 1000 (e.g. 4500 -> 4.5 ). At grotto bar, the prices of the drinks are listed as “1.6”, so I thought 1.6 = 1600 won. I know it is veeeery cheap, but I also thought it was a way to offer a service to the hotel, with very cheap drink prices. At the end, when I paid I found out that 1.6 was equal to 16.000 and not 1600 like any other shop in korea. Why can’t you just write “16” on the menu? I find this almost like a way to “scam” customers. I find no logic, why would you write 1.6 and expect the person who buys the drink multiplies by 10.000 while ANY other korean business always multiplies by 1000. Just fix this, it is total non sense, very unprofessional.

Busan is a beautiful city filled with some of the warmest and kindest people I've met—but unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was the exact opposite.
From the start, the service was shockingly poor. Upon check-in, the receptionist asked if we wanted room service during our stay. We clearly said yes. However, when we returned after a day out, the room was still completely uncleaned. We called the front desk to follow up, but nothing was done. While the receptionist did sound apologetic, no action followed, which made the apology feel empty.
The worst part came at check-out on July 10, 2025. We asked the front desk for help calling a taxi to the train station. Not only was the staff member dismissive, but he also walked away mid-conversation. When we got downstairs to wait, we realized he had called the wrong taxi—and once again, instead of trying to assist us, he simply brushed us off and showed no interest in resolving the issue.
Given the price point of this hotel, this level of unprofessionalism and lack of basic hospitality is unacceptable. There are so many great places to stay in Busan—do yourself a favor and avoid this one.

The room was very clean and the waiting room had a nice smell. I stayed with my friend and our room had a very big TV which I liked very much. Also the sea view from the room was very beautiful. The only thing I didn't like was the slippers.

LOVED our stay here! Fabulous location - right next to the beach, surrounded by some great bars & restaurants, and literally across the road from the Haeundae beach scenic train stop. Pool was lovely & entire hotel was designed beautifully. Great breakfast & food options too. Ate lunch at the restaurant one day & loved it. Staff super welcoming & helpful.
