"This hotel is close to the west of the downtown area of Lushan, and I realized that this should be regarded as a new form of motel - car apartments, parking is available on the first floor, and apartment-style rooms on the second floor and above. After passing the front desk at the elevator entrance on the first floor, the waiter will ask the guests if they need to provide free bathrobes and whether men need free razors. Go upstairs and open the apartment room, there is a typical porch space, change the slippers and go in, the room space of the bed is not big, but the shower room with dry and wet separation is really extra large (this space is too large to put a bathtub, add a single bed or something should be no problem)~ When I read the accommodation information on Trip.com, I was told that the refrigerated mineral water in the refrigerator here is charged! So I didn't dare to touch it. Personal opinion: According to later experience, this kind of mineral water that has not been put in the scan code to unlock the box, and at the same time without any labels, should be provided free of charge by the hotel. Otherwise, the guests drink or carry it with them. The hotel does not know. How can you charge this extra fee? Interesting: I also found out from the TV in this room - there are a lot of wonderful pay channels in Korea (you know)!"

"TBH, this hotel is over our expectations. Firstly, the front desk staff provided free room upgrade since i guess not many guests booked hotel that day due to Typhoon. Secondly, there was no breakfast during weekdays which shown wrongly on trip.com so we complained to trip.com. And then the trip.com staff called hotel staff 4 times to confirm. The staff were not angry to us, instead, he was patiently explaining the reasons to us, and we understood it was mainly trip.com issue. Sasang is not a place for regular travellers to pick hotels, so Louis is already one of the best options if you need that location and a affordable price."

"Situated in the heart of the night life of Seomyeon. Feels safe despite seeing loads of cigarette butts everywhere in the area in the morning. Relatively quiet at night for a good sleep. Loads of restaurants around and shopping around. Busan is great to come. Jeonpo would be better if you have big luggage as Seomyeon exits near to hotel doesn't have escalators. Takes about 10mins to get to the subway. Price is very attractive though hotel is bit old. Was given a room on the 5th floor which was yet to be refurbished. ASK for 9th floor rooms! "

"The TV remote control also switches for the lights and air conditioner, so you can operate them all at once. The room was simple and functional. I didn't notice the window was open until the morning. I wish they had closed it after cleaning. There was no shower curtain in the bathroom, so I was careful when using it, but it seems that splashing of hot water was expected as a design. There were slippers for the bathroom. The only drawback is that you can't flush toilet paper down the toilet. The toilet doesn't flush very well. The location is very good, close to the subway station and the downtown area."

"As other reviews have shared; location of hotel is on top of a hill thus a little misleading. The room itself was big and amnities were great (was warm during winter), only problem is the location as I travelled with my family. Having to climb up/down hills to reach bus stops was tiring for my parents. Overall would only recommend if you dont mind climbing up and down hills/ taking taxis/ driving."

"I have to say that this hotel is conveniently located, or rather this is a hotel, just at the foot of the Lushan Tower, five minutes straight from the Yingdao Bridge, between Central and Nanpu Station, it is a good choice for the first time to visit Lushan. For those who want to spend more money elsewhere on their trip, choose here. The boss and the proprietress are also simple locals, happy to help! The only downside is that for people staying in hotels, the environment is good-looking, and the most important thing is that the hygiene should be clean. The sheets and quilts may need to be replaced with new goods. Seeing obvious stains, there are hair residues in the corners of the walls, and the cleaning people need to pay more attention! We didn't live in a room with a bathtub and didn't know if it was. But the layout of the bathroom and toilet is very good!"

GGuest UserPerfect! Very good hotel, very comfortable and cozy atmosphere, like living in your own home, very warm, all kinds of details are in place, there are many delicious and interesting shops in the surrounding blocks. The transportation is also convenient, a few steps away from the bus station, there is a Lotte supermarket nearby, shopping is very convenient!

Amazing
AAlexeyExcellent option to stay in general and even better value-for-money. The location is right between the passenger sea terminal and the main train station but it nevertheless somehow manages to remain a relatively quiet place (probably, because it is located in an isolated residential apartment building). Easy reach to the train station through the overground pass. The check-in is fully automated but little bit complicated (especially when arriving by car) but they send extensive instructions beforehand. We nevertheless got some warning at the parking, because the parking lot we used was not supposed for our type of vehicles. The answer from the management was simply ”to look around for our type of vehicle and park nearby”. The apartment itself is very high-tech, but everything is in Korean, so be prepared to use some translation apps to set temperature et al.

GGuest UserThe hotel is really located very well. The main street has everything and more. Close to subway, buses, subway exit (which is the closest to the hotel) with elevator. The minus of the hotel is the absence of breakfasts, the hotel does not have any arrangements even with nearby restaurants. Reception will not advise anything, in fact there is just for check in and check out. Rooms are large with good bed, a small view of the beach. Windows are opening. Air conditioning works. the corridors carpeted (you won't hear suitcases), soundproofing is good (I have a sensitive sleep). Cleaned well. Shampoo, shower gel and soap is there, but the quality is so so. Just 3 stars hotel.

AAnonymous UserI didn't request for cleaning service as we need to be out of the room during hotel specific cleaning timing. Every morning the hotel will hang fresh towels and a bottle of water at the door if no cleaning service is needed. The room is quite small but the location is perfect, just a few steps away from the Busan Station with lots of restaurants, fast food, convenience shops and cafe. Very near to Chinatown and walking distance to 168 stairs. The hotel did make an effort to provide different choices of breakfast everyday.

WWBooked a room with ocean view, and the staff is kinda to give me the highest floor (31st floor). The view is breathtaking! Loving the sound of the sea at night and the cool ocean breeze in the day. You can open the door to the balcony to enjoy the ocean view fully. The room is clean, quiet, and spacious. I like that the hotel is environmentally-conscious, so there’s no disposable amenities like toothpaste, toothbrush, comb etc. it’s good to bring your own for your stay here. The room provides leather slippers and 3 bottles of drinking water. The table is long so there’s plenty of space for working. The location is fabulous. Downstairs there’s a coffee and a bar. There’s also an olive young shop and a 23-hour pork soup shop about 50m away. Haeundae beach is about 50 m away. It is about 150m from Haeundae station. This street has a lot of shops that open late at night, and several convenience stores.

HHanJiwonThe best price and cleanliness. Even the location is good. If you want more, it's unconscionable. A hotel that I really recommend. The downside is that there is a speed bump right next to the main street, so it's quite noisy on the 5th floor. Sensitive people should be careful. However, it's convenient to come by car because the main street is right next to it. If I had to name another downside, it would be that there are some amenities like toothpaste & toothbrush & foam cleanser, and there is no shower box or shower curtain, so water splashes a lot on the bathroom floor?

IIanFantastic location. Hotel is located right behind the main shopping street is a quiet area. Basic amenities like auto refilling drinking water machine and coffee machine. There is also a small 'hole in the wall' shop just outside the hotel selling fabulous French crepes. Only complaint is the lousy attitude shown by the manager. I booked for 3 nights with another extension for 4 nights (7 nights in total). I stated that I use a mobility device because of my disability in the booking. During check in, upon seeing me, he made feel very unwelcome. He told me to find other hotels and asked me to cancel my booking, claiming that my mobility device will spoil the room. Such a ludicrous remark to make. We had a heated argument eventually as I was very upset a him for being discriminatory. i insisted in staying as it was fully paid. It was my first time in Busan, thus I don't wish to spend my holiday looking for hotels. Btw, the room was perfectly fine. Never felt so unwelcome in my life. Location is its only saving grace. However there are numerous hotels around the area after we got to know the place better.

EEdwardI recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Elephant in Busan, and overall, it was a memorable experience. Located conveniently within the city, the hotel serves as a great base for travelers looking to explore Busan’s vibrant neighborhoods, beaches, and culinary spots. From check-in to check-out, my stay was smooth, and I found the hotel to be a solid mix of comfort, cleanliness, and character. Check-in & First Impressions: Upon arrival, I was greeted by courteous front desk staff who spoke basic English and were very accommodating. The check-in process was fast and efficient, with minimal hassle. The lobby itself was tastefully decorated—nothing extravagant, but definitely welcoming. It had a quirky charm that felt a bit more boutique than your average budget hotel. Room: I stayed in a standard double room, which was surprisingly spacious. The decor was modern and minimalist, with a few unique touches that gave it personality. The bed was large and comfortable, with clean, crisp linens. I appreciated the small details like a well-lit vanity area, USB charging ports, and a mini-fridge. The room also had good soundproofing, which meant I could rest peacefully even though the hotel is near a busy area. The bathroom was spotless, equipped with a full set of toiletries, and had a surprisingly luxurious rainfall shower. Water pressure was excellent, and hot water was consistent throughout my stay. Some rooms also offer jacuzzis or bathtubs, depending on the tier you book, which I thought was a great value. Amenities & Services: While Hotel Elephant isn’t a full-service luxury property, it offers everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. There’s a vending machine area, complimentary bottled water, and in-room amenities like a kettle, coffee, and tea. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, even during peak hours. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or gym, but there are plenty of cafes and convenience stores nearby to make up for it. Housekeeping was thorough and respectful. My room was cleaned daily, and towels and toiletries were replenished without needing to request anything. Location: This is arguably one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s just a short walk from a nearby subway station, which made commuting to places like Haeundae Beach, Jagalchi Market, and Gwangalli very easy. There are also tons of restaurants, bars, and local shops within walking distance. Whether you’re into street food or want to try Busan’s famous seafood, you’ll find great options nearby. If you’re into nightlife, there’s also plenty happening in the area, but thankfully, the hotel itself remains peaceful at night. Staff & Hospitality: Every staff member I interacted with was polite and eager to help. While not everyone was fluent in English, they made an effort to assist with directions, transportation tips, and even helping me book a cab using local apps. Their hospitality made the stay feel much warmer and more personal than I expected. Overall Impression: Hotel Elephant may not be a five-star hotel, but it delivers more than what you’d expect from its price point. It’s clean, cozy, and well-located—perfect for solo travelers, couples, or even friends on a budget-friendly getaway. If you’re visiting Busan and want a reliable place to stay that offers good value without compromising on comfort, this hotel is a solid pick. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Busan.
