City Hotel the Busan Metro Reviews

Honest review: Lobby area is messy and that staff lady is not really helpful. I needed to wait from 7am-1pm, before I know to check in at 1pm, and I only know at 1pm that need to pay extra 30,000kw to check in at 1pm, cause check in timing is 4pm. Toilet door and room door is not clean. Bed, pillow and towels are ok, room is spacious and it’s near to a train station, but still quite far from Busan train station and shopping areas. Only 2 bottles of water for me, although I’ve stayed for 5days. Overall the place is ok, it looks more like apartment than a hotel. I also bought breakfast for my stays, but only ate on day 1, as they Mop the floor when people are taking food and having breakfast and I was holding a miso soup and I fell down. Hence quite a disappointment.

Friendly customer service and very good location very near to subway station and attractions. Room is clean. Worth the price.

Need to check your check-in time when you order in. And sanitary item you may need to prepared or you can buy toothbrush and toothpaste etc.

Hotel cleaning staff was super nice to reply to all our notes ~ made it a more friendly stay. The room was a lil dusty on top of the wardrobe and there was little space. However, with the close proximity to Busan station and a bus stop that can take us to the key spots in Busan + the room being overall safe, the price is pretty good

5 min walk fr metro. Nice spacious hotel. Black theme but v new, so all in tip top condition. Bidet toilet. Friendly English speaking staff. Booked taxi to airport for us. Spacious lobby.

Verry good! Location is near Choryang Station (exit 12 with stairs and elevator between exit 8 and 10) and bus stops. The room is big enough for 3 people, clean and tidy, the staff speaks English verry well and supportive. However they forgot to provide us 3 bottles of water on the first day staying, so we thought that the hotel does not provide free water and ended up buying a lots of water. Then the next day when they cleaned our room, 3 bottles of water were placed on the table. Early check in is not allowed (check in time is 4 p.m.) But overall it was really nice staying in this hotel.

What an amazing find! We stayed at ondol suite and it was one of the best rooms we’ve had in Korea on this trip. It’s clean, the bathtub and the view was fantastic, styler in the room, ionic hairdryer, big tv with Netflix. It says it’s a two star hotel but I stayed at 5 star recently that was much worse than this. We will definitely come back when in Busan. Very friendly front desk.

Good hotel , great location

Hotel is located near busan station (a few bus stops away) and had several food places and convenient stores nearby. The room was on the smaller size but toilet was quite spacious. There is also a lack of places to hang clothes in the room. AC is powerful and there was a huge smart tv in the room! Saw a microwave at level 1 for use too. Front desk staff were also nice. For a short day I'm satisfied. :)

Clean and warm staff close to subway gate

Very convenient location. Alight from Choryang Station Exit 12 and walk about 100 m and you'll reach the hotel. It's about 900 m to Busan Station and a few stops to Jagalchi Market where you can have live seafood dinner and visit BIFF. The room is clean and the bed is firm. Overall, it has been a pleasant experience. Will stay there again if I visit Busan.

Love the room especially the big bathtub in the room. Not near to the train station,better book a car if want to travel around Busan.

Friendly and helpful reception staff who provided clear destination directions when asked upon. Proposed to include *Exit 12* of Choryang metro station as the nearest exit (out of 12 exits) to the Hotel for first time travellers. Hotel allows early arrival travellers to store luggage before the official 4pm check-in time so that they can explore Busan. Same for after check-out (11am) which is so good and appreciated. The breakfast buffet has a delicious, good and wide spread of food. Breakfast time from 7-9am is strictly enforced. Suggest they extend to 10am though. Surprised and very happy they have my favourite Shin Ramyun cup noodles in the Western buffet menu. Loved their Espresso coffee too. Really value for money! Wished I could extend another 3-night stay but were unavailable. Will definitely stay again on my next trip.
