"I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Although the room design is old style(not renovated one), the room is clean and the sea view is amazing. Great location especially to the meet up point of skydive and diving. Just 5 mins walk. ****** is just nearby so you don’t need to worry the night activities. Staff are friendly and helpful. I enjoy the stay a lot."
"The room was very clean. There was a ********* lady at the front desk who could speak Chinese. The hotel has a special menu every day. When we arrived, it was steak night and the steak was quite big.
There was room cleaning service. The environment was very quiet.
It was very close to the pier and it was very convenient to eat around."
"Cairns is my favorite city, and I also like this small hotel. There is a courtyard outside the room with tables and chairs for enjoying the cool weather and dining. The breakfast charge is slightly higher, but we find it expensive and useless."

"Overall, it’s not bad. In the nearby parks, children from all over the world are playing together. Perhaps the world’s Datong will one day be realized. This is the benefit of going abroad."
"This hotel is very good. We are a family of three adults and one child. The room is very large, with a double bed (1.5 meters wide) and two single beds, separate bathroom, refrigerator, microwave oven, dishes, cutlery and forks. Spoons and toasters are very convenient. The hotel has no breakfast and no extra bed. It is suitable for a family. It can be said to be very good at this price. The hotel also has free parking spaces, free Wi-Fi, and a small swimming pool. The hotel is 1.2 kilometers away from the bustling beach area. You can eat and drink when you stroll. The location of the hotel is within the range of free pick-up and drop-off for day trips, which is very convenient."
"We are a two-bedroom suite with reasonable layout, each room has a bathroom, suitable for two families or large families, the kitchen is fully equipped, there are balconies upstairs and downstairs, walk more than 10 minutes to the beach, not too far from the supermarket Where are we going to walk, it is very convenient! For the Chinese stomach, it is a happy thing to cook for yourself."
"It was a surprise after checking in. 2 super large viewing balconies, and 180-degree floor-to-ceiling glass in the living room provide sweeping views of the sea and surroundings. We have a complete set of kitchen appliances, such as a washing machine, a dryer, and a very pleasant New Year's Eve. The location is also very good, very close to the pier, and the surrounding supermarket restaurants are very close. This is an apartment we lived in Australia so well, s 4 is awesome, highly recommended"

GGuest UserThis booking is one of the rare ones I had serious dissatisfaction so I had to write a long review. First the information on the booking page is not fully transparent. We were only made aware that the 2 bedroom suite we booked does not offer daily room cleaning service. Cleaning service comes in only every 3 days of stay (so for 5 nights we stayed, the room was cleaned only once!) If this was well informed, I probably would not consider booking this room.
Second, the service was almost non-existent. When they said clean towels can be offered upon request, the towels were literally left on the table top immediate behind the front door. On the “clean day”, we were amazed to find toilet brush and bin left on the closed toilet bowl, ants were spotted near the sink, tissue boxes were not refilled, and pillow cases had clear sign of dirty marks.
Despite a 5-night stay, hotel didn’t allow any late check out beyond 12pm. Front desk insisted an hourly fee and different people were giving different fee rates. This was again confusing and disappointing.
Pls also note overnight parking is charged at $12 per night.
Breakfast offered at $28/pax had limited choices (basic international breakfast)
Other than above, the room is generally clean. We didn’t have a chance to explore other parts of the hotel so no comment on the amenities. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to the pier and good selection of food options.

GGuest UserI was overjoyed when I was upgraded to a WaterView room. I want to express my gratitude to Yuko, the friendly and helpful hotel counter, for making my day. The customer service at the hotel is exceptional and always goes above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Yuko, who upgraded my room, Jeremiah, the attentive waitstaff who delivered my room service, and Peter, the friendly counter who assisted me with my checkout, all played a vital role in making my stay memorable.

GGuest UserDefinitely one of the better hostels I’ve stayed in while travelling Australia. However, front desk reception lady was quite rude when checking in. Food and service in the restaurant/bar was shocking. But very clean, good showering facilities, good kitchen facilities, and comfortable beds.

YYuanThe 2 bedroom apartment suits us (2 couples) very well. It has more than enough space. The apartment was well equipped. The location is also good, very close to supermarket, also not too far from reef terminal (20 mins walk).
However the wifi was terrible, very bad. The beds were just about okay. Also the tiny quantity of toiletry supplies bothered us as well.

JJianyiThe front desk is not open from late at night to early in the morning, so you need to check the hours. It is located near the downtown area and can be moved around on foot.
The breakfast was nothing special, but it was good. Drinks can be brought or ordered for a fee. You can enjoy it on the calm front lobby floor.
The room was simple, but there was a simple kitchen. The pool jacuzzi was simple and not big enough to play in.
I forgot my power outlet accessories, but the front desk kindly lent them to me.
If you are an experienced traveler, I don't think there are any particular shortcomings or complaints.

PPHILLIP JAMESThe Mantra Hotel has outstanding location. It is directly in front of the Woolworths supermarket - the best option in central Cairns. It's also virtually opposite (the esplanade side)the lagoon public beachfront swimming pool. Finally it's just a 5 minute walk from Cairns Cruise Terminal, with outstanding day trips to Green Island, Fitzroy Island and the Reef. I booked a sea view room. When you enter the room, you don't see the ocean, but a building across the road. However, the view from the balcony was amazing. The balcony overlooks the main features of lagoon on the sea front. During the day it is great view - the lagoon pools and sea in the background. At night you cannot see the sea (as to be expected) but you have the amazing lagoon lights, which makes it very desirable and even romantic. Our room was at the end of block, which overlooks a shopping mall (no car noise) - looking right from the balcony is the lagoon view and looking left is a mountain view. However, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm the sun comes directly into the balcony area, which means it unusable until sun sets. Of course if you don't mind baking in the sun on the balcony, this is not really a concern. The room itself is pretty basic. The mini fridge of OK and TV has domestic channels only - no cable TV for BBC/CNN. The bathroom is of a good size. There is combined shower & bath. However, when using the shower, it can slightly flood this bathroom. A shower curtain may be desirable because the glass panel is not sufficient enough. At $225 per night this hotel was not cheap and you can better deals by coming in the off-season OR going bit further down the esplanade, and choosing another hotel. The Mantra does have its own pool and it is wonderfully heated, with normal deck chairs you would expect at 4 star hotel. However, the pool gets very little natural sunlight, because it of its location between 2 buildings. Overall, the hotel has amazing location, and it is still recommended, despite the shortcomings mentioned. My final note: When we checked in, I was impressed with the level of service provided by the receptionist. She had a very welcome attitude and a wonderful personality.

AAnonymous UserHad a wonderful stay at cairns queen court! All the staff were super friendly. They always try their very best to help with our questions and provide suggestions to our trip planning! However, beware of the morning (ard 6:30am) house keeping if you wanna sleep in~ overall, I enjoyed staying there and had lot of fun in Cairns!

GGuest UserClean and tidy, complete facilities, and a good location. However, the front desk is not on duty 24 hours a day, which seems to be the case for local express hotels. If you need to store your luggage, it is inconvenient. After 4 o'clock, the front desk will not be able to take it out. If there is a one-day tour on the day of check-out, you need to plan the storage of your luggage carefully.
In addition, we booked it for Chinese food, but the Chinese restaurant was closed from Sunday afternoon to Tuesday morning (I can't remember the exact time), so we didn't eat it anyway. It is recommended to indicate the business hours of the Chinese restaurant in the hotel introduction.
