Hilton Cardiff ★★★★
"I had a very good experience staying at Hilton Cardiff. The hotel felt extremely safe and well managed throughout my stay. One thing I noticed is that they are very strict about not allowing visitors after 9 PM. At first, it was a bit disappointing, but honestly, it also made me feel much safer knowing they take security seriously. The service was excellent from beginning to end. The staff were always kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed, which made the whole experience feel very welcoming. My room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. It was also cleaned during my stay, which I really appreciated and added to the overall comfort. The location is another big advantage the hotel is just steps away from Cardiff Castle, making it perfect for exploring the city. It’s also only about a 20 minute walk from Cardiff Central railway station, which made getting there and around very convenient. One morning I decided to try the breakfast buffet, and it was definitely worth it. There were many options to choose from, including pastries, hot food, fruit, and drinks. They also had coffee machines with very good coffee, which made the breakfast experience even better. Another highlight was the bar downstairs it had a great atmosphere and was a really nice place to relax after a day of exploring. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cardiff, especially if you value comfort, excellent service, a great location, and above all, feeling safe during your stay."
Travelodge Cardiff Central Queen Street ★★★
"Another amazing stay only this time had breakfast which was absolutely cooked to perfection the best ever in a hotel 🤩. As usual the hotel itself and the room was spotlessly clean and the manager Denise as always was a delight and a credit to the company. The staff are super friendly and will do anything for you Promotion for the lot of them 😊"

The Parkgate Hotel
"The hotel is aesthetically pleasing, has old world charm yet modern. Breakfast is good though sometimes a long queue is formed outside the restaurant. But my check in was very disappointing. First the time it took for that staff to process it led me to think either their computer is not working or there's a problem with my booking (but I have received reminder from Trip.com. Worst, that staff asked me to pay a sum which is about £100 more than the stated sum on my hotel voucher ( he even said specifically "For the first night the amount is xxx, and for the second night, the amount is xxx, with a security deposit of £50, the total is £4xx."I told him he made a mistake as the sum stated in my printed voucher is only £3xx. That staff is either incompetent or not trustworthy, and should not be working on front desk. ALWAYS CHECK THE PRICE ON YOUR VOUCHER."
The Coal Exchange Hotel
"Everything was good except it was quite hot in the room."
Hotel Indigo CARDIFF by IHG
"The room was clean and hygienic, but the service was unremarkable. The room I booked was different from the one I was given, and they said it was fully booked! It took a long conversation with Trip.com's customer service to finally resolve the issue."
Copthorne Hotel Cardiff-Caerdydd
"Great location for us, just a short taxi ride into the city where we watched a gig at the Utilita. The breakfast was really good with a great selection of cooked, pastries and fruit to choose from. The only downside- we were staying during the heat wave and there is no air conditioning in the rooms. A fan was provided, but did little to help cool the room down. Overall, everywhere was clean and tidy and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful."
Future Inn Cardiff
"Very friendly staff and a lovely breakfast! Great room and felt very safe to stay as 1 adult and two children."
Holiday Inn CARDIFF CITY CENTRE by IHG
"Clean hotel, nice staff, good location, average food"
Cardiff Marriott Hotel
"Ideal location very central. Only issue is finding car park is hard we got a ticket going around the roads which are confusing."
The Spires Serviced Apartments Cardiff
"The apartment's location is very good. It is less than a 10-minute walk from the center and opposite a nice coffee/breakfast spot with tasty breakfast options. Unfortunately, the apartment had not been cleaned properly before we moved in. There were dirty stains everywhere, breadcrumbs in the drawers, and a portable air conditioner covered in dust. Eventually, after asking a very sweet housekeeping employee, we received a clean portable air conditioner, so that was great. We also received extra towels when we asked for them. A major downside is that we had reserved a parking spot for a fee (20 pounds per day!!!) and were given the hardest-to-park spot in a corner with a pole, because that was the only one left. In the end, on the days we had the car, there were simply 3 other spots empty where it is easier to park. The apartment itself is well laid out and equipped with almost everything you would need except a coffee maker. I really found that to be a downside, because you do expect that in an apartment like this. Check-in and check-out went very pleasantly; we received clear instructions via email. All in all, had a pleasant stay."
