Fraser Residence Menteng Jakarta Reviews

First of all I booked this place for 8 days. From day one entrying the room there was so much equipment that was in a bad condition. First was the Waster machine and then the Aircon suddenly turned off in the middle of the night which I had to turn back the switch last was the Tv, the technician came 3 times to send another tv to see. Yet I get so fed up when I am watching my Netflix and the tv goes back to the main menu again and again. I called up but no one came to check or called me back at night. but they managed to call me in the morning to fix the tv. The hotel supervisor called me, and they were offering me a free breakfast after the 7 day I wasn't happy with the tv issues which spoiled my mood to watch movies with my family members together. But I'm glad that the hotel staff are trying to make things right for us. All the staff is good and nice. Only I hoped that the management can do something to upgrade and do regularly check up on the equipment in the room for a guest to stay.

Nice room and have spacious space, the room is clean but the bed’s cleanness still need improvement as there is dirty ink there, but overall is ok aircon is cold and high water pressure

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The check-in process was smooth, and my room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. I especially appreciated the attention to detail — from the quality toiletries to the complimentary bottled water and coffee. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of both local and international dishes, all freshly prepared and delicious. The location is also excellent, close to major attractions and convenient for transportation. What stood out most was the hotel’s warm and welcoming atmosphere — it truly made me feel at home. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and value for money. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Nice and spacious room. There’s a study table in the room but there’s no power charging point around the table…:-(

Lovely clean hotel, nice big room. We had kitchen facilities including microwave, oven, full size fridge and freezer, utensils, crockery etc. Also was useful to have a washing machine. 2 separate bathrooms. Lovely clean big windows. Ac good. Beds comfortable. Nice to have a separate living room and tvs showed HBO movies even in bedroom which we liked. Only negatives were not enough hand towels, bath mat and hand soap even after the room was cleaned these were not provided and tea and coffee not refilled. There is complimentary water in sealed glass bottles which must not be taken away or you are charged 50k. Close to gongdangdia commuter station on the Bogor line which is very handy. There are some nice coffee shops nearby where you can have breakfast (turn right after exiting hotel) but hotel also has buffet breakfast for purchase approx 200k/person.

The room was not thoroughly cleaned when we were there. There were used cotton on the table left by the previous tenant. We didn’t bother to call the receptionist as we were only staying there for a night. The room was a bit old. Can see dirts on the sofa and rugs. Overall our stay was good. Breakfast was nice. Love the peaceful and quiet environment.

Rooms and overall cleanliness could do with some improvement. Housekeeping is also very basic and some of the furniture is a tad worn out. Restaurant is great and service staff great.

Our 3-night stay at Fraser Menteng Hotel was delightful. The rooms were spacious, the hotel staff provided friendly service, and the breakfast menu was quite varied and delicious, with a good range of activities for children as well. They were also very dependable for birthday room setups. This hotel will definitely be one of our top choices for future visits to Jakarta. A helpful tip: when booking an online taxi, make sure to confirm you've selected the correct Fraser Menteng location, as there's another Fraser hotel in Jakarta. We actually made the mistake of choosing the wrong destination once!

The picture that is advertised is misleading. The furniture is beat up and the cleanliness of the bathrooms and showers is dirty and never has a deep cleaning.

Love love love this place , I booked a one bedroom deluxe but when I checked in the room it had not yet been cleaned , went back down stairs to reception and let them know , after apologising they upgraded me to a 2 bedroom king room which I greatly appreciated , service personified there . Food is incredible , best hotel restaraunt I have eaten at in Jakarta ever , chef to chef I think this chef loves his work and cares about what he dishes out . My number one hotel in Jakarta so far and will only stay there from now on .

Stayed at one bedroom Executive for 2 nights. Need to take a short ride using grab to mall like plaza indonesia near the hotel. Room is hugh and clean. Bed is confortable too. Got a washing machine in the room so it was a hugh plus for us. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will return if back in jakarta again.

(+) Nice Residence with good people working in the lobby. Nice swimming pool and room (-)  location is too bad for calling grab or going to other places. Water is not free in the room.

Service is great from the get go, and was pleasantly surprised by how accommodating they are. Food is also a fair spread for the buffet. All in all, would definitely book again when the opportunity arises. Thank you guys!!
