Although the hotel is clearly older, all the appliances are well maintained and in good shape, my room was clean and comfortable - one chair was really ready to be replaced, sagging through, but I just used the other one. The breakfast buffet was very good with only one exception: the chocolate donuts were stale. Plenty of other baked goods were delicious, though. Location was perfect for exploring the heart of Chongqing and close to metro station Lianglukou which is a good starting point to get to many sights. I would stay here again as service was prompt and friendly, too.

Reception is not as welcoming as most hilton hotel but was willing to allow late check out after my insistence. Perhaps a little improvement on service would add value to this hotel as its location is truly a delight for those who want to stay in a 5 star hotel near Chongqin North Railway Station.
