New Century Resort Qiandao Lake Hangzhou

Whenever I come to New Century, I'm never disappointed. The service is excellent. One rainy day, I happened to be out of my room, and when I came back, I saw that the clothes I had hung out to dry were brought inside – super thoughtful! 👍🏻👍🏻 We were assigned a butler named Xingxing who was warm and professional. As for the activities, they're fantastic. On the first day, while waiting for our room to be cleaned, we went straight to the Pet Park. There were so many cute animals, and my child had a blast feeding them. After that, we hit up the swimming pool, the Car Town, and the Sensen Sports Park – you could easily spend a whole day at these places. Personally, I found the breakfast variety to be a little limited, but it was still quite good. 😊

The service was quite good. The hotel's environment and views are definitely a highlight; the grounds are beautiful, and the pool is very engaging, which my child loved. However, it was a weekend stay, so there were many people, and the breakfast queue was quite long. The service attitude was decent, but the response time was a bit slow. If you lower your expectations, it's perfectly fine for a two-day relaxing getaway. For guests looking for brand new facilities, I'd suggest considering other options carefully.

The room location was excellent, and the front desk upgraded us for free, offering views of the lake and outdoor pool. Our butler, Xiuxiu, was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. She promptly addressed any issues we had during our stay, and even prepared a basket of peaches for us at check-out. This is the first time I've encountered such a caring and thorough butler; she truly felt like a supportive friend. At least half of our wonderful memories from Qiandao Lake this time are thanks to Xiuxiu. Next time we visit Qiandao Lake, we'll definitely choose Kaiyuan again and specifically request Xiuxiu!

The hotel environment is quiet, offering expansive lake views. The room was clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The butler, Manman, was very responsive to messages, and the check-in/check-out process was simple and hassle-free. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

This time, I stayed at other hotels first before coming to New Century, and the contrast was quite stark. Let me talk about the pros: 1. The outdoor swimming pool is huge, with a large sunshade, so no fear of sunburn. The children's water park is also a good size. In contrast, other hotels' outdoor pools are small and crowded like a 'dumpling pot,' and fully exposed to the sun, which completely discouraged me from wanting to swim. So, New Century gets extra points for this! 2. The 'Car Town' is two stories, totaling 3000 square meters – it's really, really big, with so many activities. Besides the usual slides and ball pits found in every hotel's indoor playground, it also has electric cars, a reading corner, 'Sims' role-playing, a simulated supermarket, a music corner, and much, much more that I can't even list them all. Because of its large size, even with many children inside, they are well spread out, perfectly avoiding situations where older kids monopolize equipment and don't let younger ones play. Plus! Anti-slip socks are provided for free, which is a bonus! 3. The 'Pet Park' has more animals and is larger than I expected. They also provide pet treats, so children can spend at least an hour feeding the animals. 4. There's a clown performance in the hotel lobby, doing magic tricks and giving out balloons of various shapes. 5. The hotel lobby also provides drinking water, and thoughtful details like 45-degree constant temperature water and wet wipes for infants. These details really make it a comprehensive family-friendly hotel! 6. The children's amenities in the room are also very complete; no need to bring anything, just show up with the kids 😂. 7. The butler, [Man Man], provided excellent service. They upgraded our room, sent fruit and toy gift packages, and on the day of check-out, gifted a basket of freshly picked peaches and a souvenir. It felt like we were constantly receiving gift packages; the emotional value provided was incredible! 8. The robot service was also very quick; it felt faster than robots at other hotels, haha. All in all, it was great. I will choose New Century again next time I come to Qiandao Lake. When traveling with young children, you honestly don't have the energy to go out sightseeing; you just want to relax at the hotel. New Century's facilities are completely sufficient for family travel! Also, kudos to the air conditioning service. On the first night, even though it was set to 27 degrees, the room stayed at 23.5 all night, which was too cold. After feedback the next day, an engineer came to adjust it, and then it could be set to the desired temperature. My sleep was much more comfortable that night! If it weren't for the higher room rates on Saturday due to being fully booked, I would have extended my stay!

Facilities: Excellent 👍 Cleanliness: Always very good. Ambiance: Nothing to complain about, it's outstanding. Service: Fantastic! BOBO Pet Park: There are lots of small animals here that you can feed. Sensen Sports Field Experience: This is great. There's also a sandbox next to it, so kids can swim and play outdoors.

The service was excellent. We stayed for 4 nights and had originally booked a partial lake view room, but the hotel upgraded us to a central lake view room for free. The balcony view was absolutely stunning! The hotel staff were all very friendly and brought us fresh fruit and small gifts every day. The hotel also has many recreational facilities, so you can easily spend your whole day there without needing to go out. Highly recommend!

We came last year, and my child kept asking to come back! We stayed one night this time, and now they want to come again next year. As a busy mom, I also loved it. It's rare to get out with the kids, so I really appreciate places like this where you don't even need to leave the hotel for a relaxed family trip. Kids' Facilities: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Water Fun: There's an outdoor pool, a fun water park, and an indoor heated children's pool, which completely satisfied my child's desire to play in the water. Indoor Play Area: The 'Car Town' is beautiful and quite large, with new and exciting activities. I can't believe I didn't discover the second floor when we visited last year! 🤣🤣 Crafts: In the hotel lobby, there's a craft area for kids, which my child also loved. There are both free and paid options. Room Amenities: They provide everything for kids – toothbrushes, slippers, shampoo, shower gel, step stools, etc. Dining Service: We had the buffet breakfast. We arrived during peak time and only waited 3-5 minutes. The window seats overlooking the lake were fantastic, making the meal even more enjoyable. The breakfast selection is quite diverse; I particularly liked their tofu pudding. The restaurant staff proactively offered high chairs and bibs when they saw we had a baby. Special Bonus: This year, they added butler service. They sent helpful hotel tips and注意事项 in advance and paid attention to our experience throughout our stay. They even gave my child some small toys – the experience was super! They really nailed it. Of course, I do have a minor suggestion: you can rent swim rings for 10 yuan for the indoor pool, but you can't take them outside. You have to pay to rent them again for the outdoor pool. For a child who loses interest quickly, going back and forth between the indoor and outdoor pools, this policy is really inconvenient.

We stayed in a twin room, and it was quite spacious. The hotel is very well-maintained, living up to its reputation as a family-friendly hotel; we didn't even need to leave all day. In the morning, before it got too hot, we went to the non-powered playground, then to the pet park to feed the animals. We also happened to catch a clown show, which the kids loved! Afterward, we went swimming in the pool; there's both an indoor and outdoor one, catering to both younger and older children. The lobby had various welcome balloons, and they even gave us little gifts like mosquito repellent bracelets. We'll definitely be back!
