Find the Cheap Venteira Hotels

This is a rather elegant Pousada which is managed by the Pestana Hotel chain. Checking in at Reception was painless and swift. The staff generally were pleasant and friendly. Our bedroom was on the ground floor overlooking the car park. We needed to keep the windows closed for security and the curtains closed for privacy. The bedroom was pleasantly furnished and in good condition. The bed was king size and very comfy. There was plenty of hanging space for clothing The size of the room left very little space to conveniently store suitcases. The room was equipped with a refrigerator but no mini bar. There was also a television which as far as I could tell only had Portuguese programs. I could not find any English language programs. This did not really a problem because I was staying at this hotel for a limited time and did not want to watch TV. The bathroom was en suite with both a bath and a shower. The bath was useless because it did not have a bath plug and the hotel staff were unable to find a bath plug for me. There was plenty of tepid warm water for washing. However you need to have patience to have hot water. Hot water took a lifetime before it reached our room Our bedroom must have been some distance from the boiler because other guests did not suffer the same problem. A lot of water was wasted while waiting for the hot water. This was not a good way to “Save the Planet” as instructed by a sign / notice on display in the bathroom from the hotel management. The plug in the wash hand basin did not work properly. As you will realise having a wash in this hotel was a bit of an ordeal. Buffet breakfast had lots to chose from with a choice hot and cold dishes. The Lounge bar is comfortable and pleasantly furnished. Apart from the lack of bath plugs, the hotel is in good condition and decorative order.

ENG: Summary: Somehow, *********** permits this barely-2-stars hotel to be verified with 4. The only thing good here are the surprisingly large rooms and the swimming pool. Possible one the most peculiar hotel I have been to in my life. Firstly, it is almost impossible to get there with a GPS. The only sign is a tiny one saying ”Local Hotel” in the front door. Secondly, the hotel is somehow 4 stars, when in reality it doesn't go over 2 stars. Some examples of this: horribly low maintenance the walls haven't been cleaned probably since it was constructed. Moreover, there is humidity problems in the hotel. The breakfast, is terribly bad. Resembling the breakfast of a backpacking hostel. Moreover, the ”room service” is basically non-existent, in which they give you ”clean” towels (not enough for everyone, we were 4, they gave us 2.) The only good thing I can think about in this hotel is probably the surprisingly large rooms and the swimming pool. Además, el ”servicio de habitaciones” es básicamente inexistente, en el que te dan toallas ”limpias” (no alcanzan para todos, éramos 4, nos dieron 2). I was on a working trip, stayed at the hospital for one week, and the company has handled the entire process of stay during those days. The friendliness and good education rules were broken, when a reception official manifestly did not care to properly transmit the information, exposing me to other customers. It is not appropriate to say in the middle of the reception that ”it will have to leave the room if the company does not make payment.” There are discrete ways to request the settlement of a bill, without passing by ”humiliation” to other customers. The company has been working with this hotel group for a long time, it could have requested the liquidity of the bill to the company's accounting area.

Hotel was great for what we needed, free parking and close to the venue we needed for a show. Problems they are going through refurbishment so had to switch rooms because of noise. And needed help to understand a/c settings. No need for online check in. Still had to go through the whole process at check in. Staff friendly. Room and bathroom standard and more than ample for short stay. We were there one night.

Stayed here for 3 nights end of July to see Iron Maiden at the national stadium. We arrived as the bar was shutting but the barman very kindly for us a drink anyway. Comfortable rooms. Room smelled a bit when we came in but after airing it, was fine. Air con works. Room very dated but clean, maid service every day. Breakfast good, nice buffet. Evening meal basic selection of 3 different things. Nowhere else really to go and eat though. We walked into the town which is about ten minutes away and everything was shut at 7.30pm, no restaurants open, was like a ghost town. Only place open was a takeaway chicken, and that was actually very nice. Uber is cheaper to get anywhere than a taxi, around €11 into Lisbon itself. Not a hotel for families really as not much to do, or anywhere to go. Pool is nice. No kettle or any other facilities in the room to make a hot drink, so if the bar and restaurant are shut you don't have any options of getting a hot drink. Very easy access to the National stadium, short cut under the motorway, was just a 15 minute walk. Staff wonderful, very helpful and friendly. Would stay again but solely for the purpose of visiting a band at the National stadium.

Super friendly staff, they pay a lot of attention to cleanliness, the rooftop pool with a view of the Estadio da Luz is the highlight. There is also a large selection at breakfast. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the nearest metro station, which takes you straight to the center. We really enjoyed our stay here.

During breakfast it turned out that there were several Russian families loudly enjoying themselves like nothing is happening in the world. Several guests, me including, were very annoyed by that and left the breakfast room. In current times we cannot ignore this anymore and we have to take responsibility.

It was a pleasant experience, the staff very helpful and efficient; breakfast was tasty and varied. The room had good dimensions for two people, a comfortable and spacious bed, plenty of storage space, very effective black-out curtains and was well air conditioned. The bathroom had a good shower, with great power and well regulated in terms of temperature. However, the soundproofing of the room could be better.

A nice, quiet place to stay just outside Lisbon (in the Porto Salvo area). We had a full-size bed with a couch, desk for working, and cable tv (the English channels begin at 200 - CNN, BBC, etc, plus movie channels). The breakfast spread was tasty and filling - coffee machine (8 different self-serve options), fruit juices, pastries, make yourself pancakes, fruit, and sliced meat. There is a Lidl supermarket next door and the Oeires Parque mall is a 15-minute walk away. We used a taxi and Uber to get around, and the Paco de Arcos train station was a short ride over to get into Lisbon. The staff (with the exception of a few of the house keepers) all spoke English and were friendly and helpful. If you are in Lisbon for more than a few days and looking for an economical hotel, then highly recommend!

Best for friends traveling by car, free parking, underground parking, spacious and safe. Not far by car from picturesque place, good sewage, new house, supermarket and restaurant nearby. Only the hotel logo is so small that it is hard to see and the office is located in the middle of the building about 20 minutes after the car has passed.
