AC Hotel Atlanta Airport Gateway

Chose this airport hotel to catch an early flight the next morning. The transportation is very convenient—just one stop on the airport shuttle train, which saved me the hassle of rushing out early in the morning. The hotel is relatively new, and the facilities are up to the familiar Marriott standard, free from the worn-out feel of some older hotels. The room had no musty odor and was both quiet and comfortable. For anyone catching a flight, getting a good night's sleep is really important. The bar downstairs has a great vibe and friendly service. Sitting there for a drink in the evening was quite relaxing. Overall, I had a very satisfying stay, perfect for early morning flights or overnight transits.

A word of warning for all Marriott hotels in the US: be careful about overcharging. This particular hotel overcharged us for one night's stay, and the hassle of getting it back is why I can only give them 4 stars. The front desk, manager, and accounting department all denied it initially. I had to communicate with each of them individually, and after half a month, I finally got most of the money back. They still shorted me a little, but at least the bulk of it was returned.

A bit far out, but clean and tidy.

The furnishings and decor are relatively new, the bed is quite large, and it's not too far from the airport, especially close to the airport car rental return point, which is nice. However, there's no direct shuttle to the airport; it only takes you to a nearby shuttle stop.

It's very close to the airport, accessible by SkyTrain and then a 3-4 minute walk. The room was clean and tidy, and although it's next to the airport and you can see planes taking off and landing, it's not noisy at all. Recommended.

The sanitation services are very good, but there is no microwave
