All inclusive worth it bartender by the pool is amazing and attentive. Food is good but some dinner need reservations just a heads up.

The facilities are very old, we tried to call reception from the room but the phone did not work due to its age, the towels they provided us were wet, the food and dinner is good

The facilities are well maintained and the staff are very friendly and friendly.

Staff very kind and friendly, everything is well maintained, food is good, drinks are good (they can make basically any kind of drink for you and to your own preferences), they have lots of activities for guests with a little bit of everything. I loved the snorkel area.
It took a while for the check-in, I waited for 1 hr to get in, however, I got there exactly at 3pm and it was busy.
They can also improve to have better equipment at the gym and give maintenance to the existing.

This place is awesome. A lot of places say that you can snorkel off of their beach but there was enough to occupy our attention for several days, so this is not false advertising. Everything was clean, the food was wonderful. Indeed, I am more than satisfied with the quality of everything provided, especially at this price point. I was apprehensive when I heard the comments about. Keep in mind that this property is in Mexico so they are going to have Mexican food at the buffets. It is excellent Mexican food and not too spicy unless you add the salsa that is provided seperately. I didn't feel they were stingy with the towels at all. We had clean replacements whenever we wanted. All in all, this is probably the best quality for the price all-inclusive I have ever been to. The staff is some of the friendliest and helpful ever as well.

Love the staff. Cleanliness was good with the exception of the hallways. Stairwells are rarely swept. Food is pretty much what you'd expect from an all inclusive. Great breakfast, good snack bar fare at the pool for lunches, and an ok buffet for dinners. The "special" dinners (served approximately every other night) are quite good. The rooms are being upgraded on the fly, so I'm excited to maybe experience one of them when I return in Feb.
Overall, in my opinion probably the best value for dollar property on the island. To all the haters that bash this place... You opted for one of the least expensive A. I. properties available. If it doesn't meet your expectations, get off that wallet and go elsewhere.

Great property! Second time here and we will be back next year. Food is very good, staff are wonderful, great service. And it is a quiet resort, which we love. The only negative is that the balcony light is very very bright and you cannot turn it off. It is controlled by the hotel. It makes it difficult to get to sleep early.

Property is very run down but it's the cheapest property that has a large enough pool to swim laps in. That's the reason I stayed here. Average age of guests is probably mid to late 70s. Not a party place like the Wyndham in Playa del carmen. Rooms have good ac and most have a balcony. Bathrooms are too dated. Really, they need to shut this down for a season and renovate. Food is average and what you'd expect of a buffet resort. If you go to a place like this thinking you're gonna get fancy dinner you will be very disappointed. You have been warned. Fortunately it was what I expected so I wasn't disappointed. Enjoy breakfast and lunch and go to town for dinner. There is a dive shop located on the beach at the hotel so if you're a diver that's most likely the main reason to stay here. It's about a mile from downtown so easy to walk to nice restaurants, be it upscale dining or just great casual food between the hotel and downtown or just east of downtown. If you're into sr frogs then they're lots of places like downtown. Again, this is a budget friendly version of Wyndham, not an actual Wyndham so don't expect luxury. Staff is friendly l, that's all I'll say about them.
