Loved the whole experience. Friendly staff. Incredibly clean and the food was to die for. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and just the place to enjoy this The spa although small is lovely and the the rest and retreat package highly recommended When can I come back?

Fabulous! Had a great stay for my birthday. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. I had 2 fantastic treatments in the spa. My husband and I had lunch, dinner and breakfast in hotel and the food was superb. What really shone out was the customer service - all the staff we met were exceptional - friendly, happy and very professional. I honestly think this was my best experience in a hotel in Ireland - North or South. Even after only a one night stay I feel rejuvenated. My new favourite!

Room was beautiful. The walks around the hotel are lovely with great views. Personally, I found the thermal spa quite small, although we were the only ones in it at the time which helped.

Lovely hotel in the incredibly scenic Ring of Gullion area. Staff were wonderful. Superb spa area. Rooms were very spacious and modern. Food in bistro was good but wine was overpriced.

The most expensive disappointing experience I have ever had! Service was poor and food was horrible. All bar two items offered were made with gluten free flour. It did make me grateful that Im not gluten free! No offer of rectification made at time or on contacting the management. For a 4 star establishment this fell very short of expectations. Will not be back.

Stayed here on the Sunday roast, bed and breakfast package. The hotel is a short distance down from the castle It has also retained an original part at the reception with the main square part of the hotel added on in a modern industrial style. All food was delicious both at lunch time, the snack in the evening and the hearty breakfast the following morning. The customer service from all the staff throughout the hotel was excellent. Our only disappointment was that there was no entertainment in the hotel for St Paddy’s day. An enjoyable stay.

We had been to Killeavy twice for food, in the bar & restaurant which was lovely. So we chose to stay for 2 nights on our mini moon, the weekend after we got married. Not one single person made reference to this even though Katie had been informed at the time of booking. There wasn't as much as a card in the room to acknowledge the special occasion. There was a lack of warmth from the reception staff. Some other staff were very young & inexperienced, I understand we all have to learn but with the prices we paid, we expected better. Some bar staff did try their best & were friendly & helpful. The castle tour was very well carried out by a staff member too. The spa treatments were poor given the cost, being a therapist myself I know how treatments should be carried out. All in all it was disappointing considering the total cost. We would return for food but def not to stay.

Was very much looking forward to lunch in the Bistro Bar today but was most disappointed. It took 50 minutes before our lunch appeared &, to be honest, it was oversold on the menu. The burger is ‘Killeavy Longhorn’ meat & that suggested succulent, meaty & hopefully home made. Instead it seemed to be your regular butcher’s burger & with a similar processed flavour. There was no basil flavour from the basil mayo, there were 2 measly slices of tomato (one being the end piece) and def no rocket. My partner’s hake was glorified fish & chips. Suffice to say, we didn’t have desserts in case they too promised more than they delivered. Waiting staff were ok

A fantastic hotel with friendly and attentive staff, especially Conor in the bistro. Beautiful food and a lovely setting, especially at night. One of the best breakfasts ever. Thermal area was welcoming and relaxing. The perfect escape for a night away.
