I stayed at the Hyatt Hotel for three nights and four days. This is a five-star property located beautifully by the beach, offering breathtaking natural surroundings. Despite our stay not being during the summer season and the weather being slightly cloudy, we thoroughly enjoyed our time.
One of the standout experiences was the Sleepy Massage at the spa. It was exceptional—therapists tailored the massage to focus on areas with pain or tension, which was incredibly thoughtful and added great value to our stay.
The hotel’s food offerings were impressive overall. However, there were notable service issues, particularly at the beachside restaurant. The time it took for orders to be delivered was excessively long—30 to 40 minutes for simple items like a smoothie or beer. On one occasion, after waiting 30 minutes for a coffee, we were informed it wasn’t available that day. These delays and miscommunications significantly impacted our experience.
Another area needing improvement is staff communication. While the staff was kind and well-meaning, their English proficiency was insufficient, leading to frequent misunderstandings. This is an important area for a hotel of this caliber to address, especially given its international clientele.
The rooms, at 42–43 square meters, were spacious and adequate. However, some furnishings, such as curtains and chairs, appeared worn and outdated. For a Hyatt property, this was disappointing.
One policy-related issue stood out—staff adhered strictly to hotel rules without considering guest concerns or providing flexible solutions. For instance, instead of prioritizing guest comfort, policies seemed to take precedence, making the experience less relaxing and enjoyable than expected.
Lastly, we dined at Le Petite, the hotel’s animation dining restaurant. While the concept was entertaining, the repetitive nature of the animations, applied universally to all menus, made it feel less engaging. Enhancing this experience with tailored or varied animations could elevate it significantly.
In summary, while the location, massage services, and food quality met expectations, the service delays, outdated furnishings, language barriers, and inflexible policies detracted from the experience. With improvements in these areas, the hotel could offer a truly five-star stay. Overall, I would rate it 3.5 out of 5.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Danang Marriott Resort and Spa. It was me, my wife, my 2 year old, and 5 month old. The breakfast was one of the best we have experienced in our travels in southeast Asia, with a wide variety of Asian and Western cuisines. We especially enjoyed the Bahn Mi and ice cream stations. We were given complimentary alcoholic drinks (2 per adult, per day) because we were staying for 5+ nights. This was nice surprise. There were 5 or 6 pools to choose from, with varying sizes. We especially enjoyed the lounging area that was between the toddler pool and main pool, which allowed us to be with our kids but also cool down when needed. The beach was beautiful and never crowded. The waves were a little rough, but a great option for cooling down. There were plenty of loungers by the pools and the beach. The beach bar service was great, with drinks and food coming out efficiently. The staff were all amazing. We did not have any bad experiences with them during our 6 day stay. They were friendly and playful with our toddler and helped with any questions we had. My wife enjoyed the spa as she went for a massage on our final morning. The location is between Danang downtown area and Hoi An. This was great for us because we wanted to visit both areas but if you are wanting to be walking distance to restaurants, bars, sights, it might be better to choose a location closer to one of the busy areas. Overall, a fantastic trip and we look forward to returning in the near future.

Feedback on Sheraton Grand:
During my recent stay, the reception service crew member, Thanh Vo, did not collect the payment from me since the booking indicated payment over the counter. This created inconvenience, as I had to contact the counter to settle the payment. Additionally, the hotel required extra procedures to process the credit card payment. Throughout this process, I had to make calls, reply to emails, and follow up, which was highly inconvenient. I hope Sheraton Grand can take note of this issue and work on improving the guest experience.
Feedback on Trip.com:
I would recommend adding a reminder message for users booking rooms during midnight hours (after 12 am) to avoid confusion regarding the booking date. This would help ensure users select the correct date and prevent errors during late-night bookings.
Very nice hotel, new , location between da nang and hoi an. We book the room in the main building with private pool, big room and seaview, bathtub and pool overlooking the sea, calm and relax, not noisy, perfect. The drinks ,snacks and fruits at room free. Furniture all new and modern. I love the lobby ,simple modern and big, many places to sit. The main pool hv beautiful seaview, the private beach clean and beautiful, white sands, not too crowded. The breakfast so good, the pastry all good, and many choices/ range of food. We eat dinner at main rest and also taste very good and big portion. Overall very satisfied, the staff very polite, kind and helpful. We visit sept end and the weather so good. If visit da nang again, willing to stay here again.
Melia definitely gives you value for money. The staff definitely made every interaction personable and they catered to our every need. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is seeking luxury at an affordable rate.
This resort is located on My Khe Beach. This time I booked a villa with a private pool. The hotel environment is very good and the facilities in the room are also beautiful. They also provide bath salts for people to soak in, and the service is attentive.
The hotel's infinity swimming pool has a beautiful view, and you can also go directly to the hotel's dedicated beach, giving you a high degree of privacy. In addition, it is worth praising that the hotel's buffet has rich choices and tastes very good. The hotel also provides free golf carts so that guests can use golf carts at any time, which is very convenient.
we arrived at the property in the evening after a full day of sight seeing. The property were paid already through the app and we wanted to arrange a BBQ at our villa, i tried to inform the hotel to arrange the BBQ but they want to credit card confirmation before, I told the lady that I am travelling and not convenient to print out the authorization form. Then she told me that with the payment the accounting department will not allow them to but the necessary for the BBQ. All I wanted was a BBQ buy the pool for my family and friends of 8 and she was giving me a hard time. I paid 3 nights of the Villa and it is hard to imagine that the hotel will need payment for that. So at the end we end up ordering Grab food delivery.
After we check in the hotel, I wanted to ask for more water as i like to drink a lot of hot tea. the Villa is for 8 people so i asked for 8 bottles of water, the lady on the phone said she will need to charge me for that. That is absolutely absurd and never heard of. So i ordered a case of water from Grab food delivery.
My friends who were staying at the hotel room in the main building she told me that construction work was started at around 7 am and woke them up. Then the work stoppped in 30 min and star again in 15 min. That is totally not acceptable as the resort is meant to be relaxing and calming.
The next morning we saw the manager and told him all the unusual things that we encountered, I feel that he was sincerely apologetic and tried to make up for the rest of our trip. I forgot his name but he came to visit us at the villa and i saw him every morning during the breakfast service. I feel that he is trying his best to help us th=o better our stay.
The breakfast was very good indeed and we all enjoyed it.
The drawback is that the river next to the villa is not so clean. There is not much activities to do at the villa except for the infinity pool. The wave at the beach was too strong for us to swim.....
But the property is very close to the Marble Mountain (5 min walk) which is an added bonus.
Overall the staff seems to be inexperience and try to rectify the problem after it have occur. They are not able to handle many hotel related issues as these are just very minor issues.
This hotel is lovely! In the outskirts of the city, but not too far away from it, it has a private beach with white sand and an awesome view. Their breakfast is rich and varied and their restaurant offers all-day dining service. They also offers tours to the nearby landmarks and attractions if needed. Definitely recommend this hotel if you want to fully relax and enjoy a beach holiday.
There are not many villas that can accommodate 3 families in Danang.
We visited Furama and The Ocean, and they have pros and cons.
Furama: Breakfast is available and the private pool is quite large. You can also use the auxiliary facilities and the outdoor pool is nice. However, it is expensive.
The Ocean: The interior is similar to Furama, but the spacing is wider.
Delivery and Grab are available to the front of the villa. You can communicate directly with the manager and make requests and adjustments.
The chef comes and cooks breakfast, and the food is okay, but the menu is limited, so I do not recommend it. However, the food is delicious. The price is cheaper than Furama.

GGuest UserThe location is a bit far from the city center
The facilities are outdated, but the cost-effectiveness is good
HHLHLThe overall service attitude of the staff is very good. There is a butler to contact you and a driver is provided.
And the security staff are very responsible and patrol the swimming pool garden every 2 hours
The location has advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is that it is very quiet and quiet. The disadvantage is that the location is not close to My Khe Beach. It takes about 20 minutes to get there by Grab.
But overall I am very satisfied and will stay again if I come with my family next time😄
HHectorPMIn general the hotel is quite nice, the private villa is spacious and perfect for my family. We took the 2 bedroom villa. It is well mantained and in good conditions, AC inside, all cutlery needed, plates, refrigerator, microwave, even special towels for our private swimming pool.
The breakfast is good, fruit and dishes are good, have several varieties and very western. One thing that really need improve is coffee. Being in Vietnam, amazing that the coffee was horrible, and also, some special coffee like cappuccino may need extra payment, not a good touch for a buffet, sorry. The staff was excellent, always care of us. Distance is a bit complicated for some food delivery which would be extra expensive, but in general everyone knows location. The entire hotel is quite private and big and very family friendly. Definitely stay again.
TT-jiriI stayed in an apartment type. It was clean and there was no problem, but the hotel reception was far away and I got sweaty if I didn't read the cart. There are times when you can't call the cart, so that's a minus point. It seems that you can choose some breakfast, but I chose to eat next to the reception. There were various menus and it was delicious. At checkout, the card wasn't recognized and it took about 30 minutes, so I didn't have time to buy souvenirs, so it may be better to pay in advance.
GGuest UserThe flowers of Da Nang are also like pool villas.
The pool was so spacious, the living room was so spacious and everything was so spacious
If you go to play more than 3 people, the pool villa is cheaper than the hotel!
