We stayed in this lovely hotel for 4 nights. All the staff at the reception counter were very responsive and helpful. In particular, Miss Zhou went out of her way to help us book our hailing rides to the tourist attractions. Another staff assisted us to retrieve a parcel that was sent from Lijiang. When our room had issues to be solved, the staff and the manager (Ms Pang) would personally attend to the problem in our room. Thank you for a memorable stay at your hotel!

The location is excellent. You can see the night view of Xingsheng Bridge from your room. In the morning, you only need to walk a few steps out of the hotel to take a walk to the bridge to take pictures of the sunrise. You can also stroll around and have breakfast in the nearby market district to experience the local area. The life of ordinary people is really great👍

Three ladies in my group booked a twin room. When I checked in, the front desk immediately upgraded me to a sea view room (where I could see the sunrise) and sent me an extra breakfast every day. There were flower cakes and water on the bedside table in the room, and fruits were provided every day on the coffee table. In the evening, I could also have a free cocktail at the rooftop bar🍹. When checking out, the hotel has a business car to provide airport (station) service, and afternoon tea is provided every day (I didn't go because my schedule was too full). The front desk, waiter and Master Chen who sent me to the airport were all very kind. The bedding is moderately soft and hard, and the sanitary ware is well-known and hygienic. Recommended

The layout of the room is amazing, with a bathtub and hanging basket by the window; the scenery is also great, you can see the sunrise over Erhai Lake while lying in bed. Breakfast is mainly rice noodles, with some buns, eggs, milk, etc. The fried cabbage tastes great.

Our experience at Pullman Dali was a mix of highs and lows, with some exceptional staff and several areas that fell short of expectations for an Accor hotel. The Good: We were fortunate to receive excellent service from Ms. Eleven and Mr. Herman, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Their kindness and attentiveness, especially when our child fell sick during the stay, were truly commendable. They provided all the assistance we needed, making a challenging situation much more manageable. Additionally, the café staff member, Mona, stood out for her patience and friendly attitude. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standards we expect from an Accor hotel. Communication was a significant challenge, as many of the local staff struggled with English, making it difficult to get basic information or assistance. The hotel seems to cater primarily to local Chinese guests, which greatly influenced the atmosphere. The breakfast area was chaotic and crowded, and the variety and taste of the food left much to be desired. While Mona was polite and helpful, other staff displayed a dismissive and arrogant attitude. For instance, when we inquired about some of the local breakfast items, the response was abrupt and unwelcoming, as if they didn’t care whether we ate or not. Additionally, breakfast ended strictly at 10:30 AM. While I was still taking food from the buffet, the staff turned off the lights and removed the trays right in front of me without any warning. It felt extremely inconsiderate and left a poor impression. Other Observations: The location of the hotel is convenient, and the rooms are decent. However, the overall experience may be more suited to local Chinese guests rather than international travelers expecting global standards of service and hospitality. Final Thoughts: While there were shining moments thanks to a few outstanding staff members, the overall experience at Pullman Dali did not live up to the reputation of the Accor brand. If you are an international guest seeking a more service-oriented stay, you might want to consider other options.

Pros - Lovely room with a view. - Well-located, near the railway station. - Very helpful and kind manager. Homely feeling. - location is accurate, better to contact them in advance for the exact pin and image of the building. Overall, it is a homely + luxurious property with very sweet and helpful owners. Travelers kindly note - Many of the facilities mentioned here on Trip.com are not available. For example it says 24/7 front desk and luggage storage - but there is no front desk at all and staff is not available at night or before 10 am. Better to contact them well in advance before you arrive and not go by the facilities mentioned on Trip.com. Similarly no gym etc.

The location is close to Dali Railway Station but quite far from Santorini Dali and Dali Ancient City. I rate the location as excellent because, realistically, you can’t have everything perfect, so we chose the one nearest to the railway station. Overall, everything was good, and the staff, or perhaps the owner, was attentive at first. However, on the day we were leaving, we were supposed to check out at 12 PM. I couldn’t reach the staff to store my luggage (I wasn’t sure where the storage was). So, we went about our day and headed to Longkan Wharf, returning at 12:04 PM. To my surprise, the lock had automatically changed right at 12 PM, which I wasn’t informed about, and our luggage was still inside the hotel. We had a train to catch at 12:56 PM. I tried contacting the hotel via WeChat, but no one responded. We asked the guard for help, but he couldn’t do much except try calling the owner, who didn’t answer. Finally, around 1 PM, the owner responded, saying his phone was broken. Unfortunately, we missed our train. I acknowledge it was my fault for not checking out exactly at 12 PM, but the lack of response from the owner left us without a place to store our luggage. Next time, it would be helpful if the hotel informed guests about the lock system and responded promptly to messages. That was our bad experience. If it hadn’t happened, I would have rated the stay a solid 5/5. But, things happen.

Booked a 3 bedroom hotel cum residence apartment for 5 adults and 2 toddlers. Location was fantastic, in the middle of restaurants and facing Erhai Lake. The 2 of the bedrooms had an enquire bathroom with bathtub. The last had a basic toilet right beside the room. Well equipped with amenities, including full kitchenette (although there were no cutlery provided), a small backyard to wash & hang dry clothes, huge dinning and living space. Hotel staffs were also very friendly and helpful. We arrived Dali by train, and the hotel arranged for a 9 seater vehicle to pick us. The hotel breakfast buffet was also a spread, we truly enjoyed our time here. A pity was we visited around early April and the wind was really huge and chilly so we couldn't spend much time in the balcony. Other than that, everything else was great! Highly recommend to big groups who wants to stay together. Also do note to get the wechat contact of the hotel via trip.com. much easier for communication.

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was attracted by the unbeatable sea view. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room showed the beautiful scenery of Erhai Lake without reservation. You can watch the sunrise and sunset while lying in bed. It is so healing. The hotel service is impeccable. The staff is warm and thoughtful, check-in is fast, and they also prepare local travel guides. The room is warm and comfortable, the facilities are complete and high-quality, and the details are carefully designed. The breakfast is rich in variety and tastes great. You can enjoy the sea view while tasting the food. It is also very convenient to play around the hotel. Whether you want to go for a walk on the beach or check in at the popular attractions, it is close at hand. Highly recommended to friends who come to Dali, I will choose here next time!
