Dali BoMan Sea View Hotel (Erhai Park Branch)

Nicest concierge staff that are attentive to our needs all the time! You can also ask the staff to arrange for a driver to take you to anyplace for 400 yuan (off peak price); driver was the best! It’s away from most of the old towns in Dali but the view makes up for it.

Excellent hospitality with very clean rooms, and comfortable bed. My room had the view of the lake and I woke up with such a stunning view from my bed. On arrival, they can offer pick up service from train or airport. And also access to building is with secure key card. I love that there is washing machine and a lovely dining area. There are fruits and tea for all in common area if you like. The night we stayed there was also warm milk for supper if you wish. Room has a drying rack and can be light switches are really cool with track lighting in the room. Breakfast was simple set meal but you can top up whichever condiments you like. Soy milk is nice and warm. When I checked out, I was handed a nice small speciality box of local tea! As a souvenir. How thoughtful!

Amazing view from our room, overlooking Erhai lake. The hotel also has daily breakfast with local delicacies, and the very nice staff regularly brings in food and beverages for us and takes care of us. The hotel is also located in a very nice place that is nearby most attractions.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Dali. The biggest highlight was definitely the amazing view from our room – waking up to the mountains and city skyline was truly memorable. The breakfast was great, with a wide variety of options. The staff even asked if we needed anything else, which was a nice touch. They offered tea, water, and coffee (not the best, but still appreciated!). Every evening, we were surprised with a small snack delivery to our room – such a thoughtful detail. Another big plus was the laundry service, which was very convenient during our travels. There's also a nice rooftop terrace, perfect for enjoying the view and relaxing. The location is in the city, not the old town, so it’s relatively close to the train station, which made arrivals and departures easier – especially with the complimentary pickup and drop-off service (very much appreciated!). Just be aware that you’ll need to take a taxi to the old town, which takes around 30–45 minutes depending on traffic. Communication via WeChat in English was a bit tricky – even with the translator, it was sometimes hard to understand what the staff meant, but we managed. One thing to note: the walls are quite thin. On our last night, there was a child in the next room who screamed and cried for hours, and we couldn’t sleep. So if you’re a light sleeper, I definitely recommend bringing earplugs. Overall, a comfortable stay with beautiful views and great service – just be prepared for some minor inconveniences.

Very helpful staffs. Very nice room to have a fantastic view day and night. It's near the port, walking distance to take the cruise. Breakfast is delicious.

The lake view room is spacious and comfortable with a fabulous lake view. Breakfast is individual portion, not buffet style, but it was delicious. There is free pick-up service to and from Dali train station too.
