Big and clean room. Owner of this hotel is very friendly and helpful. Middle of Old Town Dali. If you take Didi, show the address of this hotel exactly because this hotel is ini centre of Old Town Dali.

We have had an amazing stay at Fu Yuan Xuan! The receptionists were very kind and very helpful. The hotel was very clean and the room very cute. We highly recommend this place!

Location was ok, its in a small alley off the main road so it was away from the noise and bustle of the narrow roads However: - we arrived at around 11.45am and was told to come back at 2pm as our room was not ready. The hotel’s listing mentions that check-in is at 12pm - room size is ok, but doesn’t feel as clean as pictures. A lot of black marks/scuffs on the walls that affect the general look of the room - toilets are definitely a downside, not renovated with the floor paint rubbing off on my feet when I use it - if your room is on the 2nd floor, be prepared to have to carry your own luggage up the narrow stairway - MOST IMPORTANT NOTE: taxis & Didi are VERY difficult to get in the mornings (before 11am). Highly advise to schedule a ride the night before. Owner tried his best to help us despite the language barrier but it was still a bit difficult to communicate

We had an amazing time here ! The house is beautiful, well decorated, clean and quiet. The location is also super good (everything in town is walkable from here). The owner is just a lovely guy, super friendly, chill, happy to help you and to share some good moments with you (despite the language barrier, but it worked well with a translator). We met some of the owner's friends and we shared so much time all together, everyone was so welcoming with us, one of the best memory of our travel. Thanks again for all, we'll come back for sure ! ❤️🍺

So far all is very good. And the price is cheap.

the hotel is inside the ancient town, for muslim traveler there are several halal restaurants nearby the hotel. The downside is that there is no elevator but for the rest is wonderful, the owner of the hotel is helpful.

In the room, the curtain doesn't effectively block out the light, making it difficult to sleep well in the morning due to the excessive sunlight. However, aside from this issue, the hotel is very nice and modern. It's also exceptionally clean. Additionally, the receptionist is very accommodating and helpful.

The location is superb, a short walk away from the walking street, just about 100m away from a hot cuppa latte and clean sheets, bathroom, friendly hosts. There is a nice chillout area/lounge where you and your friends can sit down for a meal, have a drink, etc. The young lady managing this place(Liu Shaoxia) likes to cook and she shared meals with me and the cleaner, so I felt really at home. There was a language barrier but we used WeChat to converse and translate. She can show you where to rent an electric scooter, provide information on your itinerary, recommend places of interest, etc. I informed her I wanted to rent an electric scooter and ride to Erhai Lake but she informed me that is not allowed on the highway so thankfully, I got the information on time and prevented myself from breaking the law due to ignorance. I do not speak, read or understand Mandarin. The inn's internet connection was stable and fast, but blocked by the Great Firewall of China so I was still unable to use Google-affiliated services. There is hot water shower and air conditioning, mineral water bottles, tissues and toilet paper are provided. If I come back to Dali, I will stay here again. Overall, a really good experience of a warm and inviting abode.

Helpful staff, quiet location and clean rooms…

I had a great experience there and the service was super. The lady helped me to carry my luggage to get the taxi to airport and store my stuff for a long period safely. Location e room was perfect.

The worsed hotel We booked but did NOT stay here..We had to change this hotel as the water shower did not get warm at all..it was not looking very fresh or inviting..not very service minded or helpful..not recommendable , ..sorry to give a low review😏
