A brilliant hotel for families. Very spacious and exquisite decoration and service. The pool is huge and they have a lot to do including a kid’s club, a big gym, and mini golf on the 8th floor of tower 1.
Has an incredible pool and a great breakfast.
Great location- Away from the crowds but only a 10 minute taxi ride to Erhai Lake to rent bikes or a 15-20 minute ride to Dali old city for street food.
Tomas was excellent with guest service and their manager helped upgrade us to have free breakfast for our kids. I must have messaged Tomas 50 times asking about places to eat and visit and he was super responsive and helpful with all the local tips.
Don’t stay anywhere else - this place is awesome.

I stayed in a double room with lake view and balcony. The room was spacious and clean with a view of Ethan Lake. Check in was fast. The breakfast buffet was decent but not exceptional. The gym was above average for a hotel gym. Room service is fast, but the selection is not extensive. The hotel has a spa but I opted not to go because the hotel disclaimed it as not operated by the hotel. The hotel is not walking distance to Dali Old Town. For touristing, there is a third party tour operator in the lobby that can set you up with a car and driver for a reasonable fee.

Absolutely stunning lake and mountain views. Our room overlooked a peaceful garden and the facilities were top notch — especially the heated indoor pool, which our kids loved. The hotel is a short ride to Dali Old Town and close to scenic Erhai Lake and the Gantong Ropeway.

Hilton is a great starting point if you’re in Dali. Although outside the old town, the escape from the chaos alongside the beautiful property, you’ll definitely feel relaxed here.

Quiet space. Many dishes on the menu. Clean, fully equipped. However, the hotel is far from the center, not very convenient to travel.
