Hotels in Zhongshan Square and Renmin Road Donggang Commercial Area, Dalian

I will just write my story, My flight delayed and when I arrived there was no chance to change USD to RMB I arrived at Saturday evening, my card was not working had no RMB with me. The lady in reception was kind, I told her my story she made a phone call and they agreed that I will pay on Monday, because on Saturday banks are not working. I told them that I have half of the money they said next day the banks will not work so I will need the money the receptionist said ‘no worry just use them and you will pay full on Monday’. I changed usd to RMB on Monday and payed the bill no one bothered me till Monday. About the Hotel: it’s clean, the personnel is kind and helpful. Next time: definitely Guoshi Hotel.

The hotel is near Zhongshan Square. There is a big logo at the door. It is very easy to find and convenient to the station. You can take the tram or subway to get there. The taxi is also the starting price. There are many restaurants near the hotel. There is a big supermarket opposite. It is also close to the shopping mall. The air conditioning in the room is very warm. The housekeepers replenish the supplies in a timely manner. The service attitude of the sisters at the front desk is also very good. They are very enthusiastic and there is 24-hour hot mineral water. It is very cost-effective in the same hotel. The environment is good, the service attitude is good, and the attitude of the front desk is very good! I often stay at their house. Knowing that we are old customers, they helped us upgrade. It is so thoughtful that they even helped us deliver things at night. Many places are very thoughtful

The service was very prompt when we needed to ask for amenities topup. Friendly reception and carpark wardens as well. Didnt have the opportunity to enjoy the breakfast as it was not included in the package. the indoor swimming pool is well maintained, and staff are particular on cleanliness which is a good thing especially post COVID period.

Overall a good place with a bright design. Location is about 20-25 minutes walking from the train station or 15 minutes from the metro station with a direct link to the airport. It is foreigner friendly, since the friendly staff knows some English or tries to communicate via online translator. The bed was very comfortable, Aircon worked for cooling, WiFi was fast. Two minor flaws: drainage in the shower didn't work well and there was some weird smell in the room when I arrived, but nothing too serious. The breakfast is not a buffet. You'll be served a tray with some food as shown on photo. If you like chicken feet and a prawn in rice porridge for breakfast, you'll love it :) On the flip side, they push you hard to leave them a 5* review when you check out. They even have a special manual for that in several languages. This spoils the overall good impression. In any case, I can recommend this place.

The hotel is located near the beach, the windows give a beautiful view on the sea. You can find a lot of shops and good places to eat near the hotel. The reception workers are really helpful and speak really good English, so if you’re a foreigner, there won’t be difficulties in communication. The room is boy and bright with a nice bathroom and all the amenities. One thing that made me unhappy is a dirty towel and a spot on the pillowcase, but after I contacted with the reception, the problem was solved quickly

Very nice breakfast, good quality food, lots of choices. Nice lobby very luxury, room service is quick. For some reason we’ve got our room upgraded and got a huge apartment. So I would stay here again. Beautiful place.

In my opinion, this InterContinental doesn’t measure up to others I’ve stayed at across China and the world. While the staff were excellent—accommodating late check-out and communicating well in English—the hotel itself felt old and worn out. My biggest letdown was the massage place (not hotel-operated), which was downright disgusting, offering inappropriate services that tainted my entire experience. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was very good (especially the pork sandwiches), though overcrowded—avoid peak times if possible. The gym was decent, and the views/location were great for my trail run. A special shoutout to some outstanding staff, like Karl and Vincent—wish I could remember the others' names!

The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from the Zhongshan Square Metro. Breakfast served was good with both Western and Chinese menu. There is also freshly brewed coffee available from the machines apparently dispensing Luckin type coffee. The laundry facilities are a little old and you have to pay for its use. There is little food outlets around the hotel. The room is reasonably sized but the bed mattress was a little sunken for my liking. Overall it's a reasonably good stay. It would have been better if the hotel wil get a new refurbishing.

Location is considered convenient as it is near to Line 5 Subway station. The front desk staffs are friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a nice view of TV tower room. Room is big and clean. The breakfast spread is good and there is coffee machine. Do eat at their Chinese Restaurant, price is reasonable and the food is well prepared.

It was my first time staying at this hotel. It was so comfortable! I originally wanted to stay at Holiday Inn Express, but after seeing the reviews, I decided not to. I chose this hotel. It is very cost-effective! When checking in and out, the front desk service was also very good. They kept asking us to taste the snacks in the lobby bar for free, and the snacks were all branded. The environment is also great. Not only is the room clean and hygienic, but the toiletries also surprised me a lot. They are all big brands. 4 individually packaged small bottles. There is also free drip coffee! The breakfast is also good, rich and delicious. The location is very close to Zhongshan Square and Russian Style Street. Just walk forward to Tianjin Street. There is a Dalian traditional dish downstairs. The dishes are large and not expensive. The hotel checked out at 2 pm. I checked out and left without checking the room. I will definitely choose this hotel next time
