"The design and scenery are absolutely stunning, and the viewing platform is perfect for photos. The interior decor is also very grand and regal, which is beautiful. The staff were very quick to resolve any issues. However, I do have a few suggestions: 1. The family room breakfast portion should be increased. Most family rooms accommodate more than two people. Although the front desk offered a discount, paying 140 per day for breakfast, which was essentially just a bowl of noodles, isn't great value for money. We still went to breakfast to accompany the elders. 2. The playground management could be more considerate. We purchased a package that included playground access, but during our visit, some guests weren't aware that the playground charged a fee. When children entered and didn't want to leave, especially close to closing time, parents reluctantly had to buy tickets. Given that it's peak season for family travelers and room rates are already quite high, I believe the playground could offer free access during guests' stay, with perhaps some smaller, chargeable activities to generate revenue. 3. Breakfast could be further improved by adding more Dalian local specialties to make it more memorable. Overall, I hope the hotel continues to improve, and I look forward to an even more satisfying stay next time."

Our flight was delayed, and we didn't arrive until the early hours of the morning, but the staff member in black was incredibly attentive. Despite the late hour, they patiently helped us with check-in, explained all the facilities, and even offered to carry our luggage to the room. We were a family of three, and even though our room originally included breakfast for two, the hotel kindly added a third complimentary breakfast every day, which was a thoughtful touch. The room was clean and tidy, the hotel grounds were spacious, and it was convenient to get to the beach. As an international chain, Holiday Inn consistently delivers on quality, and I highly recommend it."

There are breakfast shops and fruit stores downstairs, so getting food is very convenient. You can also walk to the shopping district without needing to drive. For non-China residents, you may need some help from the security personnel to ask the people in the 9F of the building to pick you up at the first floor. There are many restaurants nearby; all three meals I had in Dalian were in this area. **Ambiance:** This place feels like a more youthful business express hotel. I heard it's a local Dalian chain. The decor looks a bit aged, but you can still see a retro, chic, artistic style. Some of the public areas are quite nicely done. **Service:** Overall good. The female receptionist spoke softly, and one of the supervisors seemed a bit boisterous, but they were very accommodating. They upgraded me to a room with a regular window and included breakfast. **Facilities:** The room was a bit small, but sufficient for one person. It was quite clean and had everything I needed. The water pressure for the shower was good, and they even provided complimentary toiletries. Overall, I'm satisfied. For just over 100 RMB, what more could you ask for? **Breakfast:** The restaurant environment is nice, and the variety meets basic needs, but the taste was just average. The steamed buns were a bit dry, and the corn was tough. I didn't see milk, fried eggs, or freshly made noodles, so I'm not sure if that's because I went later. If you have to pay extra for breakfast, I wouldn't really recommend it. **A few things I minded:** The room door didn't have a safety latch. I always believe that hotel reviews should be based on value for money. For this location, facilities, and service, it offers pretty good value at a hundred-yuan price point during this season."
