Whether you're sightseeing or dining, you won't need to go out of your way, saving a ton of travel time. Compared to other hotels in the same area, this one is really affordable, offering incredible value for money. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the facilities were complete and sufficient. The front desk staff were friendly and handled check-in and check-out quickly. Overall, there wasn't a single thing to complain about. It's the perfect place to stay if you're visiting Dalian, and I'll definitely choose it again next time. I genuinely recommend it to everyone!"

"I stayed at this hotel for three nights during my trip to Dalian, and it was a great experience. The room was spacious and bright, with twin beds, a coffee table, a sofa, and a mini-fridge. The bathroom and toilet were in separate small rooms, and there was also a separate washroom, so there was plenty of space. The bedding was clean, relatively new, and very comfortable to sleep on. You need your room card to access the upper floors, which felt very secure. Within a five-minute walk, there's the Youhao Square subway station and a Lawson convenience store. I received welcome fruits upon check-in, and the staff were proactive and friendly in their service."

The staff on the 19th floor were also very attentive and provided a lot of help. A great choice~"

Getting to any attraction by taxi costs less than 20 yuan, which is fantastic! The owner is also very welcoming! The room is clean, hygienic, and tidy, with a great view from the higher floor."

Cleanliness: Housekeeping cleaned on time daily and promptly replaced towels and other items. Environment: The hotel is located opposite Donggang Venice Water Town, close to the seaside. You can enjoy beautiful night views of the sea right from your room. Service: Someone accompanied us during check-in, provided a detailed hotel introduction, and informed us of important notices. They answered all our questions thoroughly and attentively. It was a very satisfying trip!"

"The family room has large beds, perfect for guests with children. The location is excellent, directly opposite Discoveryland amusement park, and only about 5 kilometers from Golden Pebble Beach National Geological Park, which is a convenient taxi ride away. It's a great option if you're exploring the area. The only minor inconvenience is that all the guest rooms are in villa clusters, quite a distance from the main lobby, but on the upside, it's very quiet."

"Cleanliness: terrible. Didnt notice the urine stain around the toilet bowl until second day. Informed the counter but can only clean the next day. Didnt dare to use the toilet for the entire 4 days. Beside the urine stained toilet, the staff didnt bother to put my pillows in place. Tea bags wasnt refilled until i feedback to the counter. Very slipshod cleaning work. Counter service: Excellent. Helped me contact rider when my parcel went missing. Bathroom: would prefer if theres hook inside the bathroom. Feels very cold coming out after shower to retrieve towes. Room: No soundproof at all. Wont recommend if you are a light sleeper. Lighting is good and bright."

The environment was bright and clean, and the staff were warm and attentive. I'll definitely choose InterContinental again if I have the chance next time."

"I booked a family room, a one-bedroom, one-living room, two-bathroom setup, specifically for two adults and older children to stay together. My main draw was the pool and the hotel's good location, as I'd stayed here before and found it decent. However, this time the experience was just okay, mainly because the room facilities were so outdated – honestly, they were rundown. It was even more worn out than a standard room. One bathroom frequently leaked after flushing, requiring me to manually open the cistern lid and fix the stopper. The showerhead in the shower stall had broken metal protrusions that would painfully scratch my skin when held. The hairdryer was truly awful, the worst kind; it only blew hot air, very weakly. It had two settings, but on the second setting, it would smell like burning, so I could only use the first setting to slowly dry my hair. For women with long hair, drying it would be a real struggle. The lighting in the entire room was very dim, and the bedding felt a bit damp. The only good thing was that the room was quite spacious, with a sofa and a dining table, big enough for four people to lounge around comfortably. The check-in process was relatively quick, and the service attitude was good. The breakfast was also decent; the two elderly people were very satisfied with the variety and taste."

"I saw reviews mentioning it was an older hotel before I went, so I was a bit worried about outdated facilities. However, after checking in, I found it to be quite good! While some furniture and wallpaper definitely show their age, I think it's acceptable. You can tell from the pictures that the hotel has a good aesthetic, and they've clearly put in time and effort to maintain it well. The front desk service during check-in was just right – very friendly but not overly enthusiastic. I got an upgraded room thanks to my Trip.com benefits, and they even reminded me that I could get discount coupons at the Japanese restaurant on the third floor. The hotel's swimming pool is very well-maintained! The water quality is excellent. Probably because the shallowest part is 1.7 meters deep, everyone there is actually serious about swimming! It's fantastic!!! Big thumbs up! The only slight disappointment was that there are quite a few foreign guests at the hotel. Despite clear signs in both Chinese and English, with large notices on the door to the hot spring area stating no electronic devices are allowed, I still encountered a foreigner doing exactly that. I immediately spoke up. From her reaction, it didn't seem like she was unaware. I hope the hotel can strengthen its management; these rules shouldn't only apply to obedient local guests, otherwise, it's really quite unsafe. Perhaps they could add an extra reminder during check-in and when getting keys for the changing room. They shouldn't avoid saying anything due to language barriers or fear of trouble (after all, every time I went to get the changing room key, I was reminded of the closing time)."

The entire décor is grand, blending retro and traditional styles with a calming atmosphere. Simple yet sophisticated, the welcoming flowers upon entry and the friendly check-in experience, culminating in ocean-like music playing as you insert your key card—it felt like a powerful surge of energy reaching deep into your heart. The room was very stylish, every detail reflecting thoughtfulness and sincerity: the marble shower, the brass bathtub, the mattress worn by Wang Xiaofei (a famous Chinese actor), and the tangible sound of ocean waves—words cannot describe its beauty; you have to experience it for yourself. I sincerely recommend everyone experience it. In the midst of life's chaos, find a moment of tranquility—for yourself, and only yourself."

"Our first stop in Dalian was this Holiday Inn, and it was an excellent experience. Our flight was delayed, and we didn't arrive until the early hours of the morning, but the staff member in black was incredibly attentive. Despite the late hour, they patiently helped us with check-in, explained all the facilities, and even offered to carry our luggage to the room. We were a family of three, and even though our room originally included breakfast for two, the hotel kindly added a third complimentary breakfast every day, which was a thoughtful touch. The room was clean and tidy, the hotel grounds were spacious, and it was convenient to get to the beach. As an international chain, Holiday Inn consistently delivers on quality, and I highly recommend it."
Hard Rock Hotel Dalian
"There aren't many hotel options at Jinshitan, and only a few good ones. After much deliberation, I chose Hard Rock. Overall, it's not the most luxurious, but the quality is decent and it offers good value for money. Let's start with breakfast. While the variety isn't huge, the quality is good, especially the coffee, which tasted great. There was always someone available to serve coffee. The room was very clean, and the sea view from the ocean-view room was excellent. Overall, the service from Yi Yangqianxi at the front desk was great, and I was satisfied with my room."
