The location is excellent, directly opposite Discoveryland amusement park, and only about 5 kilometers from Golden Pebble Beach National Geological Park, which is a convenient taxi ride away. It's a great option if you're exploring the area. The only minor inconvenience is that all the guest rooms are in villa clusters, quite a distance from the main lobby, but on the upside, it's very quiet."

"This hotel at Xinghai Square offers the best overall value. The accommodations are upstairs, and a huge bathhouse is right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient and comfortable to head straight to your room after a scrub. The location is also fantastic, close to both the commercial district and the sea. The hotel breakfast deserves a special mention, especially the seafood noodles – I could easily eat two bowls! 👍 The family room is incredibly spacious, and the main bed is huge. The kids' bed is almost as big as a standard double bed in other hotels. The bedding is very comfortable, and the room has excellent soundproofing. 👍 The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the toiletries are all Shiseido, which gives you peace of mind. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Dalian!"

"I randomly selected this hotel. I originally planned to just take a short break, but it was so clean that I extended my stay for a few more days, until the end of the month. It's rare to find such a clean hotel while on a business trip. The bedding looked very white and new, and it was spotless after being cleaned daily! They changed my toothbrush and tissues daily, and since I was on a business trip, they even gave me extra bottles of laundry detergent. They were very attentive! This is truly heartfelt!"

The staff were incredibly friendly and the hotel even upgraded us to a duplex, which was incredibly spacious with amazing sea and city views. Each room was a suite with its own bathroom – a perfect experience!"

Dalian generally enjoys a pleasant and comfortable climate, though the only downside at the moment is the city's high accommodation prices. Upon arrival, a bellhop promptly came forward to assist with my luggage, and the front desk staff were warm, attentive, and efficient. I had to contact the duty manager during my stay with a query, and they handled it with exceptional patience, thoroughness, and a truly sincere attitude. Considering all my experiences, this hotel is undoubtedly five-star – you can't go wrong choosing to stay here when visiting Dalian."

"I saw reviews mentioning it was an older hotel before I went, so I was a bit worried about outdated facilities. However, after checking in, I found it to be quite good! While some furniture and wallpaper definitely show their age, I think it's acceptable. You can tell from the pictures that the hotel has a good aesthetic, and they've clearly put in time and effort to maintain it well. The front desk service during check-in was just right – very friendly but not overly enthusiastic. I got an upgraded room thanks to my Trip.com benefits, and they even reminded me that I could get discount coupons at the Japanese restaurant on the third floor. The hotel's swimming pool is very well-maintained! The water quality is excellent. Probably because the shallowest part is 1.7 meters deep, everyone there is actually serious about swimming! It's fantastic!!! Big thumbs up! The only slight disappointment was that there are quite a few foreign guests at the hotel. Despite clear signs in both Chinese and English, with large notices on the door to the hot spring area stating no electronic devices are allowed, I still encountered a foreigner doing exactly that. I immediately spoke up. From her reaction, it didn't seem like she was unaware. I hope the hotel can strengthen its management; these rules shouldn't only apply to obedient local guests, otherwise, it's really quite unsafe. Perhaps they could add an extra reminder during check-in and when getting keys for the changing room. They shouldn't avoid saying anything due to language barriers or fear of trouble (after all, every time I went to get the changing room key, I was reminded of the closing time)."

High-quality tea was provided in the room, the attention to detail was impeccable. The bedding was so soft I didn't want to get out, I couldn't resist taking lots of photos before bed. The view from the sixth-floor lounge area was amazing, every snapshot from the window was a stunning ocean view. The service was attentive and friendly, making me feel right at home, and the breakfast was superb. I'll definitely come back next time!"

"There aren't many hotel options at Jinshitan, and only a few good ones. After much deliberation, I chose Hard Rock. Overall, it's not the most luxurious, but the quality is decent and it offers good value for money. Let's start with breakfast. While the variety isn't huge, the quality is good, especially the coffee, which tasted great. There was always someone available to serve coffee. The room was very clean, and the sea view from the ocean-view room was excellent. Overall, the service from Yi Yangqianxi at the front desk was great, and I was satisfied with my room."
