There are supermarket and restaurants nearby, making it ideal for both sightseeing and business trips. Check‑in was fast and efficient. The front‑desk staff Eric were warm, polite and patient, ready to answer all my questions with thoughtful service. The room was spotlessly clean and well‑tidied. The bedding was soft and comfortable for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was fully equipped with steady hot‑water supply. Good sound insulation ensured a quiet night for rest. Dalian is beautiful.I felt relaxed and comfortable throughout my stay without any unpleasant issues. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to this city！"

"A couple with their four-year-old stayed for three days. It was an amazing experience!!! Highly recommended!! We originally booked a one-bedroom apartment, but the hotel upgraded us to a two-bedroom, two-story apartment with two living rooms, which was incredibly spacious and well-equipped: it had three bathrooms, a bathtub, a kitchen, a refrigerator, a dining area, a living room, and a study. Our child absolutely loved it, running up and down the stairs. The hotel's playground, sauna, and swimming pool were also enjoyed by our child. He even cried when it was time to leave! We will definitely stay here again next time!!! Thumbs up 👍"

"I arrived in Dalian just as a typhoon hit, and it was raining all the way from the airport to the hotel. I was feeling a bit down after getting drenched, but when I got to the front desk, the staff upgraded my standard double room to a family room for free. That instantly cheered me up and made my mood much better! The room was huge and even had two bathrooms. Plus, we got to see the fireworks show from Discoveryland across the way both nights, which was totally worth it! 👍🏻 On the first night, a hornet flew into our room, and the staff handled it very promptly. 👍🏻 The hotel is also very close to the beach, so overall it was a very chill stay."

The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. It was very family-friendly for staying with kids; the room had ample space for activities, and safety details were well thought out. "Location: Right next to Friendship Square and very close to Zhongshan Square. You can see Zhongshan Square from the room window. It's within walking distance to malls like Dalian Department Store and Pavilions, and there's a subway station nearby, making it convenient for both taxis and public transport. There are also many restaurants within walking distance, which is very convenient, and the walk itself feels like a mini city walk. Environment: The hotel environment is clean. Since it has been open for many years, the overall equipment in the rooms is a bit old, but it's relatively well-maintained. Other than some leakage from the hot water tap in the bathtub, there were no other issues. Hygiene: Housekeeping was prompt every day and cleaned very thoroughly. Service: The greeters, front desk staff, and other service personnel were all polite and had excellent service attitudes. They responded promptly to requests, which was very satisfying. Facilities: This visit, the hotel added robot service, which was a great experience as I didn't have to go downstairs to pick up takeout during off-peak hours. Of course, during busy periods, you still need to collect your food from the front desk. Overall, I was very satisfied with this stay. I will choose InterContinental Dalian Cosco Shipping again on my next visit to Dalian."

"Convenient for going out, and the breakfast was quite good. The sea view at Grand Hyatt Dalian is definitely the best in the city, situated right on Xinghai Square, with the beach just a short walk downstairs. The fan-shaped layout ensures almost every room has a sea view, with floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the Xinghai Bay Bridge. The evening lights create a fantastic atmosphere. The heated pool offers great views, allowing you to enjoy the seascape even while swimming. The 'Chef's Table' buffet has a rich variety, especially with a good selection of seafood and desserts. The overall service was proper, and check-in efficiency was acceptable. The only minor drawbacks are that the hotel has been open for many years, so some facilities show a bit of age, and during peak season, breakfast can get crowded, requiring a wait for a table. If you're coming to Dalian and want to experience the city's premier sea view, the Grand Hyatt remains an excellent choice. You can enjoy the entire bay from the comfort of your bed, making for a very pleasant vacation experience."

"My stay at The Castle Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Dalian, was absolutely perfect! The hotel is located right on Xinghai Bay, and its castle-like architecture is grand and magnificent. The room was spacious and bright, with unbeatable sea views – I could see the blue sea and sky right from my window every morning. The service was impeccable, from the concierge to the room staff, truly reflecting Marriott's high-end brand standards. It's also conveniently located next to Xinghai Square, making getting around very easy. During check-out, Dansey asked about my stay and resolved any issues very well. I highly recommend it to travelers seeking quality!"

The guest room was well-maintained overall, spacious with good lighting, and meticulously cleaned. "This was my third stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Dalian, totaling 8 days and 7 nights across two separate trips. I've always been a big fan of the Four Seasons brand; whenever there's one in a city I'm visiting, it's usually my top choice. Overall, as a new hotel, the Four Seasons Dalian has excellent hardware. The rooms are well-equipped, and everything from the facilities to the decor feels new. The user experience is quite smooth. The TV mirroring, in particular, connects seamlessly, and these seemingly small details significantly impact the experience during longer stays. Regarding soundproofing, I had seen some reviews mentioning it before my stay. Since my previous stays were mostly in suites, I hadn't noticed it much. However, this time, one of my rooms had a connecting door, and I could indeed hear sounds from the adjacent room quite clearly. This is definitely an area that could be improved. Also, the elevator key card sensor isn't very sensitive; it often requires holding the card against it for a while to register, which can be a bit inconvenient for those with manicures. I hope this can be optimized. The hotel offers both surface and underground parking, making it convenient. The underground parking is on B4, and the route is a bit winding. Every time I drive from underground to ground level, I feel dizzy for about 3 minutes. Only one elevator directly reaches the B4 parking from the 41st-floor lobby, which I find a bit troublesome. The service truly deserves an extra five-star rating, and it's the main reason I keep choosing this hotel. During this stay, the hotel upgraded my room for free. Any issues I encountered throughout my stay were promptly addressed and resolved by the staff, preventing minor hiccups from affecting the overall experience. I also really appreciate the hotel's customer experience team's communication method – direct WeChat communication is very convenient for any daily needs. The staff also proactively checks in on my stay experience and needs each day. For instance, they can assist with booking popular restaurants that might be hard to get into last minute, which is a huge convenience for guests. This consistent, proactive, yet non-intrusive service is something I think the Four Seasons does exceptionally well. As a relatively new hotel that hasn't been open for very long, there are indeed some details that still need refinement. However, I have a very positive impression of the Four Seasons Dalian, both in terms of its hardware foundation and service quality. I look forward to seeing it mature further in its details. After my third stay, I'm still willing to choose it again and hope to see an even better Four Seasons Dalian next time I return."

Since I had a sunburn on my back and was using a special cream, they even went the extra mile to lay down a separate sheet for me. They were incredibly thoughtful in tidying the room, knowing we were traveling with a child. Secondly, the breakfast spread was incredibly rich. Restaurant Manager Bao Lei provided attentive service, and Head Chef Li Decheng and Supervisor Hou Manager thoughtfully checked if the food met our preferences. Five-star rating!
