"Staying at Fraser Suites Dalian was an absolutely fantastic experience! The front desk staff were incredibly gentle and efficient during check-in, and very helpful in guiding me around. The room itself was clean, tidy, and much more spacious than a typical hotel room, with all the home comforts you could ask for. I really have to commend the housekeeping team – they were so thorough with their cleaning, and always spoke softly when entering the room. When I needed extra amenities last minute, they were delivered to my door very quickly. You can really feel their dedication in every detail. My entire stay was comfortable and reassuring. From the front office to housekeeping, all the staff were incredibly reliable. This is definitely a hotel I'd return to when I'm back in Dalian."

"Although this is an older five-star hotel, my impression was that it would be lavish but with outdated facilities. However, this hotel has kept up with the times. The hairdryer was upgraded to a Laifen, which works wonderfully, and the toilet is a smart Panasonic model. There's a smart alarm clock by the bed with a night light, wireless charging, and a radio. In terms of service, they upgraded our room type and even helped us secure a reservation for the Hong Kong-style buffet when it was fully booked. When we left, they gave a doll to our child, which was a very thoughtful touch. Special thanks to Vivian for her attentive service. If I had to pick one downside, it would probably be that the hotel has too many rooms. It was fully booked during our entire stay, and we had to queue for breakfast every day. As three families traveling together, we couldn't sit together for breakfast even once."

"The Hilton Dalian Golden Pebble Beach, with its European castle-style architecture, boasts a grand and beautiful environment. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and you can even catch a glimpse of the fireworks from Discoveryland. The rooms are spacious, and the sea-view balcony offers expansive vistas. With amenities like a constant-temperature swimming pool and a kids' club, there are plenty of family-friendly activities, making it a breeze for parents. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options, and the service is prompt and responsive. It's a great choice for a holiday away from the city, and driving is recommended. Overall, a fantastic experience for a stay in Golden Pebble Beach."

"Maybe i was highly expecting for a hotel lime others Hard Rock Hotel. But this one is just okay. My room is ocean view but its not a private beach for the hotel. Cant swim at the beach. But many activities that you can do on it. The breakfast was great. There are so many selections that i can eat for a Muslim. The room is clean with full amenities. Btw , at night i ordered Fish&Chips & also brownies with icecream.But it so bland. The fries not cooked well & the brownies is not hot & hard. Not recommended. They also have live band at night. The water pressure in the room also low."

"The hotel is located near Friendship Square. My three-day stay had a significant drop in overall experience, with both hardware and service needing major improvement. The air conditioning in the hotel was very poor. In the first room, only areas close to the vent felt a slight breeze, and I was hot and sweating while sitting in the room. Maintenance came to inspect it and stated that the temperature wouldn't drop overnight, so I had to change rooms. After moving to a suite with two vents, the stuffiness only slightly improved. Hygiene issues were a concern: On the second day of my stay, I suspected I was bitten by mites on my arm, leading me to believe the bedding hadn't been changed in a long time. The room was also never cleaned during my three-day stay. After reporting this to the 'little housekeeper,' the manager said fresh sheets were ready for an immediate change, but I contacted the service center and waited for an hour with no one showing up. Additionally, there was a strong, unpleasant odor in the room, likely due to it being closed up for an extended period without ventilation, and it persisted throughout my three-day stay. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel at this price point."

"For my trip to Dalian this time, I chose to stay at the New World Hotel, and the overall experience was outstanding, completely exceeding my expectations. It was definitely great value for money and I highly recommend it! The hotel's biggest advantage is its excellent location, right in the heart of Zhongshan District, with mature and well-developed surrounding amenities. Whether it's for shopping, visiting Zhongshan Square, enjoying the Donggang night view, or heading to famous attractions like Xinghai Square and Tiger Beach, getting around is super convenient. The transportation network is excellent, making it very easy whether you're driving or taking a taxi. It's highly efficient for travel and perfectly suited for family trips and short getaways. What left the deepest impression during my stay was the meticulous service from the concierge department. The service was attentive, proactive, and down-to-earth, completely devoid of a rigid, procedural feel. The concierge team was enthusiastic and thoughtful throughout; they greeted us proactively and assisted promptly whenever we entered or exited. They were very considerate when helping with luggage and guiding us with directions. As we were traveling by car, the staff provided attentive guidance throughout, actively helped transfer our luggage, and directed us straight to the exclusive elevator for the underground parking garage. This was incredibly helpful for travelers with elderly family members and children. For daily travel inquiries, sightseeing routes, and recommendations for local food, the concierge staff were patient and detailed in their answers, offering very practical local advice that saved us a lot of unnecessary detours during our trip. The overall service attitude was sincere and responsive; you could feel the professionalism and dedication in every detail. The entire stay was incredibly comfortable, with a prime location and attentive, detailed service. The overall ambiance and experience were top-notch. I genuinely feel that this hotel's service lives up to five-star quality and is an excellent choice for accommodation when visiting Dalian. I will definitely choose to stay here again without hesitation on my next trip to Dalian!"

"Rooms here are really in high demand; it was impossible to extend my stay. Aside from a long wait during check-in, everything else was fantastic: the fifth-floor garden is charming both day and night, and the room's crystal chandeliers and carved wall decorations exude the luxury of an economic boom period. Even the chairs are incredibly heavy – they really spared no expense with the materials! However, the curtain on one of the windows in my room was broken and wouldn't close properly, letting in a lot of light as soon as it got bright outside. Other than that, everything was perfect!"

"I visited Dalian with my child and stayed at three hotels over four days. This one was by far the most disappointing. First, the location is indeed excellent. If you like the Xinghai Square area, this is a great place to stay. However, during peak season, try to avoid taking taxis at night as traffic gets really congested. That said, it's lovely to stroll around from early evening onwards. Further in, there are many stalls and even a beer festival. You can also wander around the vicinity, ride bumper cars, or take a ride on the illuminated boats. When you're tired, it’s convenient to walk just a short distance back to the hotel to rest. Secondly, for dining, there's a KFC and Starbucks nearby, as well as a popular internet-famous Xiding Dumpling restaurant (when I passed by around 3 pm, there was already a long queue; during meal times, scalpers were selling queue numbers). If you walk a bit further, there are also hotpot, Western restaurants, and home-style cooking options – plenty to choose from. The hotel's 46th-floor restaurant was genuinely good. Personally, I don't think ordering roast duck is necessary; the other dishes are also delicious. The stir-fried okra with foie gras was absolutely stunning. I don't know the name of the male manager who took our order, but he had a great attitude. He offered suggestions when we were ordering and checked on our experience after the meal. A small suggestion for the restaurant's ambiance and service: perhaps play some light background music. The whole dining experience felt a bit dry. We happened to catch the bridge light show, but there was no music, making the visual experience not as good as what we saw outdoors the day before. Also, for such a high-end restaurant, wouldn't offering a complimentary fruit platter after the meal be better? Even two slices of watermelon could enhance customer satisfaction. Another point is the hotel service. I'm giving it two stars because the overall service model aligns with a five-star hotel, but the execution and mindset were disappointing. For nearly twenty years, I've only stayed in five-star hotels or above, and my own living environment is surrounded by several five-star hotels. I frequently visit hotels, whether for coffee, a lobby bar, or the gym. A grand hotel should embody a grand demeanor. During check-in, they emphasized and asked me, ”Are you sure it's just you and your child checking in?” I didn't react immediately, but shortly after entering the room, a male staff member knocked on the door, saying he was delivering welcome fruit. After I opened the door, his eyes darted around, scanning the entire room, almost as if he wanted to come in and look around. He asked if he should bring it in for me or if I'd take it. I didn't think much of it at the time, just found him a bit strange. It wasn't until I closed the door that I realized what had happened: they had already prejudged us, assuming we were more than two people and might be trying to sneak others into the hotel. Ha ha. I understand that at your price point and location, such situations might occur, but that's no excuse for judging people based on appearances!"

"I booked a deluxe twin room and got upgraded to a suite, which was absolutely perfect! I was a bit worried after seeing some online reviews mentioning outdated facilities, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The environment was excellent, the room was incredibly soundproof, and spacious enough. The service was fantastic; the cleaning lady even gave me recommendations for places to visit – true Northeastern hospitality!"

"The Dalian Four Seasons was our first Four Seasons experience in China. Having previously stayed at Four Seasons hotels in Prague, Budapest, and Singapore, I'd come to the conclusion that 'Four Seasons is always a safe bet in any unfamiliar city.' In fact, if a city has a Four Seasons, that alone is a great reason to visit, as the brand has extremely high standards for location, and following their lead rarely goes wrong. The Dalian Four Seasons is located in the prime area of Zhongshan Road. It's within a 2km drive to places like Nanshan Street, Zhongshan Square, Democratic Square's Tram Route 201 starting point, and Russian Style Street. Just a 7-minute walk from the hotel, there's a cluster of local restaurants, which is very convenient. We stayed for four nights in an 80-square-meter Grand City View King Room. It featured a spacious bedroom (after fitting a comfortable king-size bed, an L-shaped sofa, a large round table, and chairs, there was still plenty of space for two people to practice Baduanjin), an oversized walk-in closet, and a bathroom. The vanity had the essential double sinks, which made it incredibly convenient for two people. What's particularly noteworthy is the large mirror with a built-in smart TV – this was truly amazing! It's a great bonus for those who brush their teeth thoroughly (which can take a while, so I often watch my iPad at home to avoid boredom). Four Seasons' in-room tea bags and capsule coffee have always been my favorite. The Dalian hotel thoughtfully labeled four different coffee varieties with their flavors and roast levels, and even included a decaffeinated option. This was incredibly friendly for coffee lovers who want to try different trendy cafes outside every day but are also concerned about excessive caffeine intake. Every day, I made a cup of decaf coffee in my room, and could even add milk and ice to make a delicious iced latte – I really enjoyed it. Among the tea bags, Maojian was my personal favorite and one I'd recommend. Speaking of which, I must praise the hotel's sky lobby. Located on the 41st floor, it offers breathtaking sea views. Every day, I spent a long time sitting on the sofa here, reading or simply gazing at the sea, feeling a deep sense of holiday bliss. At 38樓, the gym is the most beautiful I've ever seen in any Four Seasons hotel, and indeed, in any hotel I've stayed in! This is because it boasts the same stunning sea views as the sky lobby. I went to the gym for 2 hours every day for four consecutive days. The equipment was sufficient to train shoulders, chest, back, and glutes/legs on separate days. The completeness of the fitness equipment rivaled that of the Singapore Four Seasons, but the sea view is a definite plus for the Dalian Four Seasons. I was also particularly pleased with the hotel breakfast. While other categories offered everything imaginable, that wasn't the main point. What truly impressed me was how few hotel restaurants can provide a comprehensive selection of avocado, cold-brew overnight oats (with nuts and fresh blueberries), sourdough bread, and salmon with purple cabbage salad all at once. For fitness enthusiasts who maintain a healthy diet year-round, this is an absolute godsend. Even more impressive than all the perfect hardware mentioned above was the service at the Dalian Four Seasons, which perfectly embodied the Four Seasons' core philosophy of 'treating others as you would like to be treated.' I especially want to thank Kayla and Carrie, the duty managers from the Guest Experience Department. They started coordinating with me two days before my arrival. Every morning after check-in, they would message me on WeChat to ask about our comfort levels. After the first night, they adjusted room details based on my personal preferences and needs, making me truly feel the same convenience and comfort as if I were at home. During these five days in Dalian, I truly felt that the Four Seasons makes you happy whether you leave to explore during the day or stay in all day long. A city with a Four Seasons inherently becomes more attractive, and it's a hotel you can 'mindlessly choose' without ever going wrong. Dalian Four Seasons, you are my perfect Four Seasons hotel, and for you, I am willing to return to Dalian!"
