"Excellent! Compared to the Tangla Hotel Tianjin where I stayed last time, this 270-degree view room is infinitely better. The facilities are top-notch, and it comes with a complete set of kitchenware and tableware, so you can even cook! The room is spacious and bright, and very quiet inside. The location is convenient with all amenities nearby. The pool wasn't crowded, the massage chair was very comfortable, and there's even a billiards table to play on!"

"A couple with their four-year-old stayed for three days. It was an amazing experience!!! Highly recommended!! We originally booked a one-bedroom apartment, but the hotel upgraded us to a two-bedroom, two-story apartment with two living rooms, which was incredibly spacious and well-equipped: it had three bathrooms, a bathtub, a kitchen, a refrigerator, a dining area, a living room, and a study. Our child absolutely loved it, running up and down the stairs. The hotel's playground, sauna, and swimming pool were also enjoyed by our child. He even cried when it was time to leave! We will definitely stay here again next time!!! Thumbs up 👍"

"The hotel has a very American vibe, and the lobby is quite rock 'n' roll. We upgraded our room with a surcharge, and the view was much better; the room itself was large and clean. On our last night, someone set off fireworks on the beach, and having a sea-view room made it instantly worthwhile! The hotel pool is great; the kids didn't want to get out. The hotel is also very close to the beach, and it's easy to order takeout. Really good!"

"The hotel's exterior is magnificent, like a castle. I booked a sea view room, and the ocean view from the window was beautiful. Even though it's by the sea, the room was surprisingly dry; my swimsuit dried completely within a day. I was a bit anxious after reading reviews about long queues for breakfast, but when I got there, I found that before 8 AM, there's usually no queue. Plus, staff members directly seat you and place a reserved sign, which is a nice touch. In some hotels, even if there's no queue when it's busy, not finding a seat and having to wander around with your plate is even more awkward. Now for the good parts, there are two downsides I hope the hotel can improve. First, the hotel's Chinese restaurant is really expensive, and there's a service charge, but the taste and service were truly underwhelming. I had originally planned to just eat at the hotel every day, but after one meal, I realized it didn't even meet expectations for taste or value for money – it failed on all three counts. Secondly, for a hotel at this price point, charging for a can of Coke and a bottle of juice in the mini-fridge seems unnecessary. Many five-star hotels even offer a full selection of expensive drinks for free, along with complimentary fruit and snacks, but here they charge extra, which comes across as a bit petty."

"Facilities: The hotel is a bit old, with a distinct vintage feel, but it's not run-down. Overall, it's pretty decent. However, for those who frequently stay in hotels, there might be a slight issue, as standard rooms don't have floor-to-ceiling windows. On the positive side, the bedding is quite new. Considering it opened in 2008, it's understandable. The executive lounge, though, offers an absolutely stunning view, overlooking the entire harbor. Hygiene: Most areas were very clean, and there were no odors or stains on the pillows, duvets, or mattresses. However, there was some white residue in the bathtub, which the hotel didn't clean thoroughly. Service: The service was very good, with quick response times. The check-in experience was also pleasant, with staff helping to carry luggage to the room, which was excellent! Environment: The environment is also good, and it's close to the subway station. Turn right out of the hotel, and you'll find Zhongshan Square, a nice spot to take friends or kids to see pigeons. Summary: If you don't mind its age, it's a good hotel. The hygiene is mostly fine, the facilities are functional, and the service is excellent. The breakfast is also quite distinctive, offering Dalian specialties like xiaolongbao, jianbing guozi, menzi, and sea cucumber rice. A few suggestions: the executive lounge's access control isn't very strict; they should have someone specifically guarding the entrance to prevent those without executive privileges from entering. Also, the curtains don't fully cover the windows, leaving gaps on both sides. And there should definitely be tissues on the bedside table, not just in the bathroom, as it's inconvenient. Side note: This hotel left a particularly deep impression on me because the room assigned to me upon check-in was a pleasant surprise. The hotel opened in 2008, and coincidentally, I was given room number 2008. It was a really great stay experience!"

"I stayed in Dalian for several days, and this hotel stood out for its overall consistency. The room cleaning quality was consistently good every day, not fluctuating. The facilities weren't old or chipped and were very convenient to use. The hotel's gym had a full range of equipment, and the swimming pool environment was also excellent, perfect for a workout and relaxation in my free time. Taxis were readily available, and it was easy to get to various attractions without detours. When I asked about local sightseeing, the staff gave practical advice, not just the generic tips you find online. My stay here was very comfortable."

"My stay at the Castle Hotel was absolutely fantastic, completely exceeding my expectations. I had imagined a hotel over 10 years old would feel dated, but to my surprise, it was incredibly well-maintained. The rooms feature smart toilets, double sinks in the bathroom, and a spacious shower with excellent water pressure. The hotel's European castle style exudes grandeur and elegance, with meticulous attention to detail. The facilities, including the gym and pool, are comprehensive and have extended opening hours – the pool even opens at 6:30 AM! The sky garden on the 5th floor is beautiful, with the castle and greenery intertwining, offering a superb spot to view Xinghai Square and the cross-sea bridge. It's a perfect photo opportunity, and I've seen it recommended on Xiaohongshu. The hotel service was also exceptional, truly living up to its reputation as a 5-star landmark. After checking out, Dansey asked about my experience, and I was just so satisfied overall. I'll definitely be back!"

"First, the pros: The location is excellent, right in Donggang, next to Venice. You can walk to several popular spots nearby, feed seagulls, and it's very convenient to call a taxi. The concierge staff at the entrance were all fantastic, helping with car doors, closing them, and handling luggage. The front desk staff who checked me in also gave a detailed heads-up about the hot water usage. They even sent a birthday cake, which was a lovely gesture, but unfortunately, I came back too late that night and couldn't eat it. Room service for deliveries was also available. Now, for the cons: It's definitely not a traditional five-star hotel as there's no pool or bathtub. And honestly, the water heater really needs an upgrade. When four people took turns showering in the evening, we had to wait at least an hour or more between each person."

"Excellent review!!! First and foremost, as a family of three traveling, we'd like to express our sincere gratitude to Cao Yingxue, Cao Hongyan, and Wang Xuemei for their meticulous room cleaning. Since I had a sunburn on my back and was using a special cream, they even went the extra mile to lay down a separate sheet for me. They were incredibly thoughtful in tidying the room, knowing we were traveling with a child. Secondly, the breakfast spread was incredibly rich. Restaurant Manager Bao Lei provided attentive service, and Head Chef Li Decheng and Supervisor Hou Manager thoughtfully checked if the food met our preferences. Five-star rating! Excellent value for money."

"The overall stay exceeded our expectations! The environment was quiet and elegant, and the garden-style hot spring area was meticulously maintained. The hot spring water was natural and genuine, warm and soothing. After a soak, I felt completely relaxed, and all the fatigue from my journey vanished. The room was clean and spacious, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the private hot spring tub offered great privacy, which my child absolutely loved. The staff were warm, polite, and provided attentive and thoughtful service. The facilities were comprehensive. This place is perfect for both family trips and relaxing getaways. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose it again for my next trip. Highly recommended!"
