Guest UserLet me start by saying this: it's my first business trip to Dalian, and this is the second hotel I've stayed at – both have been excellent! How can the service be so good? I'm in love with Dalian!
The location is superb, very close to Xinghai Square, and right by the seaside as soon as you step out.
During my stay, I added the butler's WeChat, so I could conveniently message them for anything I needed. When I arrived, the front desk staff helped me with my luggage to my room, and I even received a welcome afternoon tea.
There aren't many rooms on each floor, so it's very quiet, and the room itself is comfortable! The bed is neither too soft nor too hard, I slept so well. The curtains are automated with a button, the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the bath towels are thick. I usually bring my own toiletries when I travel, but I actually used the shampoo here and it was fantastic – left my hair fragrant and smooth. Very satisfied!

The hotel and the room are more beautiful than in the photo. Amazing interior, incredible terrace, helpful girls at the reception, cute dog. We were lucky with the weather, the view is beautiful. The only negative is that it was difficult for us to explain ourselves, Russian guests rarely visit the hotel 🙈 There is a kettle and mugs in the room, but no tea or sugar, and we were not allowed to order a kettle of tea for a fee in the room. There is no cutlery either, but you can get it at the reception/in the shared kitchen) I would like to live in this place longer!!! An incredibly colorful area and hotel. If we are in Dalian again, we will definitely stay. We recommend it!!!

Guest UserThis is our second time here. The sea-view room offers a stunning vista. We booked for six consecutive nights this time, and since it was off-peak season, the price was almost half of what it would be in July or August. The beach is right outside, making it super convenient for kids to dig in the sand and explore for marine life. It's June now, and the water is still a bit chilly, so younger kids might not be able to swim. However, the sun is quite strong; my skin got sunburned after just a few days of playing. After that, I made sure to wear long sleeves, long pants, and plenty of sunscreen. If your child rolls around in the sand, make sure to wash their hair thoroughly when you get back to the hotel. My child didn't cooperate with washing, and later that night, I felt sand all over under him! 🤣

Guest UserThe room was spacious, and the bedding was very comfortable. Housekeeping was prompt every morning. It was very convenient to have daily essentials delivered to the room upon request. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, always willing to help and very responsible. The breakfast was also good, and the central location made getting around easy. Overall, highly recommended! 🥰

The B&B converted from a duplex villa is pretty good overall. It's my first time staying in a B&B, it's pretty good, with both advantages and disadvantages
Advantages:
1. The room is a loft, and children like to go up and down, which is more suitable for children to play; 2. The hotel service attitude is very good, basically they are very enthusiastic to help if there is a need, and takeaways can also be delivered upstairs; 3. There are storybooks on the first floor of the hotel that can be borrowed, and there is also a small area suitable for young children to play; 4. The hotel is close to the beach gate No. 1, just walk a little across the road; 5. There are sand digging toys that can be borrowed. When I left, I left the sand digging tools in the hotel, which is convenient for subsequent guests to use.
Disadvantages:
1. The light blocking in the hotel room is not very good. We changed two rooms this time. Candy's home is a little bright at night. The curtains on the window behind the sofa are a little short. The street lights are brighter at night when the lights are turned off. The room is very bright at four in the morning. It is recommended to add blackout curtains; 2. The overall hygiene of the hotel is good, but the details are not enough. The next day, we stayed in Big Bird's home. The table where the phone is placed on the bedside upstairs was very dusty, and the bathroom also had a bit of smell; 3. The breakfast is indeed a bit simple, with few choices. 4. If you need to go to the sea, you need to go to the vicinity of Gates 4 and 5. It is less than 1km on foot and you need to take a taxi, which is not very convenient. There are too many tourists on buses near Gate 1, and the garbage for feeding seagulls is thrown everywhere. It is not recommended to play near Gate 1.

Traveling during off-peak season, this hotel offers incredible value for money. The location is fantastic, making it super convenient for kids to go crabbing. The service is also excellent; it's so much better than the unhelpful one next door! A big thank you to 'Eason' (Chen Yixun) who brought us plenty of water when he saw we had a large group – it felt great to have all our requests met. There was also a very handsome manager who gave the kids fun toys. Overall, it provided a wonderful vacation experience. The hamburger and fish and chips were also great and very popular with the children.
On the first floor, there's even a DJI drone available for a test flight, which the kids loved.
The only downside is that because it's so close to the sea, the bedding can be a bit damp. If you're traveling with small children, you might want to bring your own sheets.

The room is beautiful, well-equipped, and the cleaning service is very thoughtful. The front desk is on duty 24 hours a day, and the service is very timely! The breakfast is rich and there are many varieties.
I stayed with my children for four nights. The children cried when they left. I love this hotel so much!
The surrounding area of the hotel is very convenient, with various types of restaurants, street barbecues, snack shops, supermarkets, everything you need, especially convenient!

The hotel's bay is absolutely stunning and very private. You can tell the owner has an eye for aesthetics; even though the hotel is small, every corner is picturesque, and the observation deck on the slope is breathtaking. When the weather is good, the bay turns into a beautiful 'jelly sea,' making it well worth staying to experience this beach.
On the downside: It feels like the hotel's cleaning and breakfast services are outsourced to women from Northeast China. The cleanliness is frankly mediocre, so I wouldn't recommend it for germaphobes. As for breakfast, I didn't eat the food, so I can't comment on that; I only had coffee. However, the restaurant service is problematic. In the mornings, the kitchen staff were loudly gossiping in Northeastern dialect with the waitresses, openly commenting on previous guests, which was very impolite. The service lacked smiles, and their gazes were somewhat stern. While eating breakfast, they would stare at you, completely lacking personal boundaries. When my mother went to get food, an older lady kept following her and staring, making her feel very uncomfortable. There were some pastries in a steamer, and when my mother opened it to see what they were, a waitress sarered, 'These are yellow croaker dumplings, can you even eat them?!'
On a positive note, the front desk staff, the bar guy, the convenience store auntie, and the paddleboard instructor were all very nice and friendly. I hope the restaurant service quality improves, and that staff receive etiquette and professionalism training, as well as addressing the cleanliness issues. Thank you.

This hotel's location is genuinely brilliant, right in the city centre next to the Zhongshan subway and plaza, and for this price point, you really can't ask for better. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier (Google Translate sorted us out fine), and the cleaning team were lovely too.
The room was decent and properly clean, I checked for dust and there wasn't any. However, the hotel is quite old, and there was some mould on the ceiling and in the bathroom and shower curtain. It didn't bother me personally, but worth noting, and a bit of spray would be great. That said, Dalian was incredibly humid when I visited in late August, so I suspect this is partly a climate issue. Even my own towels wouldn't dry properly. The place was quite busy, mainly Chinese customers, but they were quiet and discreet.
Practical bits: they provide two bottles of water daily and disposable paper towels (which actually came in handy given the humidity). The room also had a washing machine (bring your own detergent) and you can hang clothes outside on the 9th floor veranda. There's a bus stop right outside with direct services to Xian Lu (shopping and basement food market) and the Transport University area night market, the subway goes straight to the airport, and you're walking distance from the main tourist spots like Russian Street, the old tram etc. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. And two convenience stores on ground floor. This place accepts foreign tourists and check-in was quick and easy. Internet was fast but slower in the evenings.
Honestly, some of the complaints I've read here seem a bit harsh considering what you're paying. You get what you pay for, and at this price point in this location, I think it's fair value. I'd stay here again, especially if travelling on a budget. Thank you, we had a lovely time in Dalian!

ChanelXoI booked this hotel for my boyfriend and I for the National Day holiday. I know he likes being surrounded by nature since we live in the city. I also thought we would try playing golf (we didn't). We had a great time and even when we left the hotel for another hotel, my boyfriend wanted to go back.
Pros
1. The bedroom was huge!
2. The scenery is breathtaking.
3. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
4. The food was delicious.
Cons
1. The bedroom wasn't super clean. We found rat pellets by the window (at least that's what my boyfriend says. I think it could be lizards)
2. There are lots of activities that seem to be inactive due to renovations (possibly due to the covid era) but it seems they are working on restorations.
All in all. I would definitely go back and when this hotel is in it's prime, it will be even more amazing!
