"Overall, the room was good. When I first saw it, I thought it would be noisy, but after checking in at night, I found it to be fine. With the windows closed, I couldn't hear any noise, so the soundproofing is actually quite good. Unless someone upstairs was deliberately stomping around loudly, I didn't find it noisy. During my five-day stay, only on the last night did my family find it a bit loud, but I didn't. The hygiene was also good. The main thing is that it's close to the sea, so it's very convenient to take the kids to the beach anytime. Getting a taxi and finding places to eat nearby are also quite convenient. Chenxi Tianjie is a few hundred meters away, and Gaoxin Wanda is a few kilometers away. There are breakfast shops, convenience stores, and dumpling shops right downstairs. Across the street, there's even a seafood BBQ place, although the stir-fried clams were a bit salty. In the evenings, there are many vendors selling various fruits, which is very convenient. If you're taking kids to the Shengya Ocean World, remember to buy tickets at the hotel; they're cheaper than buying them on-site. **They're both cheaper. I bought mine from Qunar.com and only realized the hotel's price was better after getting back to the hotel after my visit. I ended up paying about 20 yuan more."

Opened in 2023, the Holiday Inn Express DALIAN GOLDEN PEBBLE BEACH by IHG is a great accommodation choice in Dalian. The hotel is located approximately 21km from Liangjiadian Railway Station and 61km from Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport. Being just minutes away from Golden Pebble Beach Metro Station allows guests to explore the city with ease. Famous local attractions Jinshitan Green Hair Marine Hot Spring & Marine Therapy Center, Wuhao Hot Spring and Golden Pebble Beach Happy Coast - East District, can all be reached with a short walk. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"Traveling to Dalian for the May Day holiday, we spent the last two days at Jinshitan. Having stayed at InterContinental properties many times before, I chose it again. I received a call a day in advance asking for my arrival time and confirming hotel requests, which was great! We arrived quite late, and the front desk staff, Amber, was very attentive. To my surprise, we even got an upgrade during the May Day holiday and a welcome fruit platter. The hotel's location is pretty good; it's about a 15-minute walk from the light rail station, and the beach is very close, right next to Gate 4. During the May Day holiday, there was a shuttle bus service to the scenic spots, running once an hour. The front desk staff made sure to inform and explain this to every guest, which was excellent. Also, the hotel's earplugs were very effective, and I slept really well."

The Smart Bear Hotel (Dalian Railway Station Zhongshan Square Subway Station Branch) provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Smart Bear Hotel (Dalian Railway Station Zhongshan Square Subway Station Branch) offers a pleasant stay in Dalian for those traveling for business or leisure. The hotel is conveniently located just 900m from Dalian Railway Station and 11km from Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport. Just a short walk from Zhongshan Square Metro Station, traveling to most city destinations is a breeze. Seeing Dalian's sights from this hotel is easy with Minzhu Square, Zhongshan Square and Dalian Old Street all close by. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. Guests of this Dalian hotel can make use of the parking facilities. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling alone.

"This hotel's location is genuinely brilliant, right in the city centre next to the Zhongshan subway and plaza, and for this price point, you really can't ask for better. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier (Google Translate sorted us out fine), and the cleaning team were lovely too. The room was decent and properly clean, I checked for dust and there wasn't any. However, the hotel is quite old, and there was some mould on the ceiling and in the bathroom and shower curtain. It didn't bother me personally, but worth noting, and a bit of spray would be great. That said, Dalian was incredibly humid when I visited in late August, so I suspect this is partly a climate issue. Even my own towels wouldn't dry properly. The place was quite busy, mainly Chinese customers, but they were quiet and discreet. Practical bits: they provide two bottles of water daily and disposable paper towels (which actually came in handy given the humidity). The room also had a washing machine (bring your own detergent) and you can hang clothes outside on the 9th floor veranda. There's a bus stop right outside with direct services to Xian Lu (shopping and basement food market) and the Transport University area night market, the subway goes straight to the airport, and you're walking distance from the main tourist spots like Russian Street, the old tram etc. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. And two convenience stores on ground floor. This place accepts foreign tourists and check-in was quick and easy. Internet was fast but slower in the evenings. Honestly, some of the complaints I've read here seem a bit harsh considering what you're paying. You get what you pay for, and at this price point in this location, I think it's fair value. I'd stay here again, especially if travelling on a budget. Thank you, we had a lovely time in Dalian!"

The Orange Hotel (Dalian Zhongshan Square, Renmin Road) is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Orange Hotel (Dalian Zhongshan Square, Renmin Road) is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Dalian. The hotel is conveniently located just 2km from Dalian Railway Station and 12km from Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport. In addition, Zhongshan Square Metro Station is just a short walk away. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Labor Park, Qingniwa Commercial Zone and Qiqi Street all nearby. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"A very satisfying stay! I've always loved Orange Hotels because all their products smell like oranges, and the orange-filled soft candies they give out with every check-in are always delicious. The biggest advantage of this particular Orange Hotel is its location! First off, right across the street is a food street with a ton of dining options. The popular 'He Diu Yi Zhi Xie' (Drink Until You Lose a Shoe) is also across the street, and there's a good Japanese restaurant called Xiansheng Sushi nearby too. It's only a four or five-hundred-meter walk to Zhongshan Square, and Nanshan Street is just a fifteen-minute walk away. Taking a taxi to Xinghai or Donggang only takes about twenty minutes. The king-sized room was a decent size, and the bedding was quite comfortable. A really great plus was how much sunlight the room got, making it very warm – perfect for a solo trip!"

Hotel near Xinghai Square,Dalian
"I stayed in Dalian for three nights and chose Qing Song Ya Ju, which is right by Xinghai Square. It's only a few dozen meters from the sea, and Xinghai Square is a 10-minute walk away. The location is absolutely fantastic! 👍 I stayed in the Yuzhou room, and the view from the window overlooked the main section of Xinghai Bridge. When the lights came on, the scenery was incredibly beautiful. If you want a great view of the bridge, this is the room to pick. The hotel has been open for two years, and I was surprised by how spacious and clean the room was. As a picky Virgo, I can confirm the cleanliness was top-notch; my fellow clean-freak friends can book with confidence! 🥳 Finally, I have to mention the concierge. He was super thoughtful; seeing that we were hot and tired after exploring all evening, he even brought us ice-cold beers 🍻 – so nice!"

I always stayed at this hotel for my business trips. This time, I brought my child and didn't hesitate to choose it again. It's a serviced apartment, and the room is huge. It comes with a washing machine and all the kitchen utensils you could need. The living room is super spacious, making it very convenient for working or doing homework, and my child loved it. Downstairs, there's also a billiard room, swimming pool, gym, and a kids' play area. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful; they're enthusiastic and patient and always resolve any issues promptly. Highly recommended – I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit.

The hotel's exterior is magnificent, like a castle. I booked a sea view room, and the ocean view from the window was beautiful. Even though it's by the sea, the room was surprisingly dry; my swimsuit dried completely within a day. I was a bit anxious after reading reviews about long queues for breakfast, but when I got there, I found that before 8 AM, there's usually no queue. Plus, staff members directly seat you and place a reserved sign, which is a nice touch. In some hotels, even if there's no queue when it's busy, not finding a seat and having to wander around with your plate is even more awkward. Now for the good parts, there are two downsides I hope the hotel can improve. First, the hotel's Chinese restaurant is really expensive, and there's a service charge, but the taste and service were truly underwhelming. I had originally planned to just eat at the hotel every day, but after one meal, I realized it didn't even meet expectations for taste or value for money – it failed on all three counts. Secondly, for a hotel at this price point, charging for a can of Coke and a bottle of juice in the mini-fridge seems unnecessary. Many five-star hotels even offer a full selection of expensive drinks for free, along with complimentary fruit and snacks, but here they charge extra, which comes across as a bit petty.

Choosing Atour Hotel at Zhongshan Square was an excellent decision. The location is super convenient, and it met all my expectations. The hygiene standards are very high, and the breakfast spread is extensive. The lovely hotel staff proactively added me on WeChat to help with my itinerary, and even gave me a thoughtful farewell gift upon checkout. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Dalian.

It was very nice and quiet. Close to the beach and restaurants were just across the street. Golden pebble beach was 5 mins walk away. I wonder why Golden Pebble beach isn’t so lively on Dragon Boar festival. There were things to do but the shops near the beach never opened. But it was okay as we enjoyed just taking a walk and we liked that it wasn’t so crowded. Can hang near the beach at night in peace. Maybe buy some fireworks and light it up yourself. Also, we thought the service in the hotel needs to improve when it comes to giving customers what they need in the room. We asked for water but it was never brought to us. We just bought water by ourselves. Good side: the receptions can speak English. The place itself is like a mini mansion. European style kind of houses. Inside a gated community with orange roofs. Very pleasant and quiet.

My stay at the Castle Hotel was absolutely fantastic, completely exceeding my expectations. I had imagined a hotel over 10 years old would feel dated, but to my surprise, it was incredibly well-maintained. The rooms feature smart toilets, double sinks in the bathroom, and a spacious shower with excellent water pressure. The hotel's European castle style exudes grandeur and elegance, with meticulous attention to detail. The facilities, including the gym and pool, are comprehensive and have extended opening hours – the pool even opens at 6:30 AM! The sky garden on the 5th floor is beautiful, with the castle and greenery intertwining, offering a superb spot to view Xinghai Square and the cross-sea bridge. It's a perfect photo opportunity, and I've seen it recommended on Xiaohongshu. The hotel service was also exceptional, truly living up to its reputation as a 5-star landmark. After checking out, Dansey asked about my experience, and I was just so satisfied overall. I'll definitely be back!

The environment here is particularly good. It is a three-story villa. The houses are newly renovated and the facilities are very complete. The landlord’s aunt is very enthusiastic and has free coffee and tea. It is also very close to Lushun Xingang subway station and the traffic is developed. You can see the sea outside the window, and the price is high.

The hotel has a very American vibe, and the lobby is quite rock 'n' roll. We upgraded our room with a surcharge, and the view was much better; the room itself was large and clean. On our last night, someone set off fireworks on the beach, and having a sea-view room made it instantly worthwhile! The hotel pool is great; the kids didn't want to get out. The hotel is also very close to the beach, and it's easy to order takeout. Really good!

The room is spacious and well-designed. The ground-floor room comes with a lovely private courtyard where you can sit or lie down, facing the sea which is just 100 meters away – truly a perfect 'staring-at-the-sea' room. You can even walk directly from your courtyard in your bikini to go beachcombing or swimming. There are plenty of complimentary snacks in the room. All in all, I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit.

We stayed at this hotel from September 2nd to September 19th. There's no sign because it's a residential building. We asked the taxi driver to call, and the manager, Victor, came and spoke Russian! We asked for dishes. The bed was clean, but there was no cleaning service, but there was a washing machine! Hot water 24/7, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toilet paper, disposable brushes, a hairdryer, a kettle, and a microwave. They brought dishes, electric pots for cooking, and a refrigerator. Rubber and disposable slippers. Infrastructure: Buses: leave the hotel and immediately turn left to the intersection, then left again. Route 49 goes to the Zoo and Rakushka Beach. Metro: leave the hotel and turn left to the intersection and then right! Walk a little and it will become a street-alley; there's a metro sign on the road! And where the metro is, it's on your right... but to the left there are a bunch of other buses. I think it's better to arrive at the 16 to Venice right around lunchtime, get off at the Galleries shopping center, and then walk according to the map... You need to see this miracle both day and night, a gondola ride is 60 yuan per person). Opposite the hotel there is fruit and a fruit store. The supermarket is on the right, the entrance is down the escalator. The supermarket is small, but has everything, we also bought aqua shoes there, we cooked ourselves, so we bought meat, fish, and potatoes... the only thing they have is vegetable oil in 5 liters... we bought 1 liter in another store for almost 300 rubles... there is sugar... a lot of delicious yogurt, shrimp are 25 yuan per 1 kg, we bought them almost every day, don't confuse them with mole crickets! They are 55 yuan per 1 kg and I don't like them. But I confused them once. There are finished products, but not much. A shopping street with food and fruit, which we are used to... we are from Blagoveshchensk, Amur region, across the river. We see Chinese people on the Amur... in the morning and evening there is a whole street of food... nothing like that here! There is a market: this is if you go there or walk to the Roosevelt shopping center, then on the way... we just walked... you will pass such a market... lots of fruit, meat, fish, greens, etc. The toilet is at the entrance to the left. The sea: from the hotel past the supermarket to the end of the block and... you can go left or right, you will still come to the sea, but! We went to the right... walk a little about 300 meters, probably cross the road and see an alley-lane with a city always walking there... you will walk past dachas... these are gated residential buildings with security and come out to the sea where there are fewer people. The beach is pebble, the tide is low at lunchtime, so Aqua shoes are a must!!! They cost 15 yuan in the store, the beach is not equipped! No umbrella, you can even buy a sunbed. The Chinese are setting up tents, but we only had a regular umbrella with us from the rain... It's certainly better not to take valuables to the beach. But sometimes I took my phone and left a little money, and no one ever took anything. But it's better not to do that. The hotel is located on Xinghai Square, which is sort of divided into two parts, so on the left are the attractions, on the right are the Oceanarium and the Ferris Wheel. (40 yuan)... I liked the Oceanarium... you can buy pearls for cheap... earrings for 99 yuan, and the main attraction for me... feeding the penguins!!! 200 yuan, but... it's amazing! They give you a down jacket and gloves... a bucket of fish juice... a guy will hold a flashlight and film you on your phone... I haven't regretted it at all! It's expensive, but worth it! Buy a combined ticket to 4 museums! A photo of your passport in your phone is required: If you're traveling with a pensioner... I understand tickets are 50% cheaper, and they also count children by age. Rakushka Beach and the beach across the street from the Zoo have sand! They're also not equipped...you can only rent a large umbrella. And then you have to take two buses from the hotel...taxi fares are about 16-20 USD. In Russia, download Alipay...put money in there...preferably a small amount so it doesn't get blocked...by the way, Viktor was asked, he sent us money, and we gave him cash. Alipay has DiDi taxis; they're cheaper than hailing one. The Chinese don't speak English!!! A translator will help. Buy a Chinese SIM card and a paid VPN, and everything will work for you. I recommend checking out the ”Running Dumpling” cafe...it has a red sign and a picture of a dumpling with legs and arms...and the ”Snegovichok” ice cream chain has a picture. The rice chain also has a red sign and the first hieroglyph looks like the letter ”Z.” There's a German cafe on Xinghai and Venice; I sent you a photo and recommend it!

The hotel on the golf course feels that it is mainly prepared for guests who come to play golf overnight. It is written as a five-star, but the facilities are actually a bit old. Facing the side of the course, the view is invincible, it is worth a trip for one night alone. The price is also very reasonable. The manager is very enthusiastic. Breakfast is a set meal, relatively simple and tastes good. The room is large, with a balcony and a bathtub. There is free bottled water, because it is a small bottle, so four bottles were given. Later, two bottles were sent. Insufficient: 1. The hot water flow in the shower is too small and the water temperature is low. The traffic below is a bit noisy in the morning.
