We had an excellent stay at Meijing Hotel, primarily due to the exceptional staff who were consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh options served in a spacious dining area, and the hotel's prime location put us within easy reach of shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Our only complaint was that our non-smoking room had a lingering cigarette smell upon arrival, though staff promptly provided an air purifier to address the issue. While we would absolutely stay again for the outstanding service, we hope they can improve their smoke control measures for an even better experience next time.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The service at the buffet breakfast was impeccable while the breakfast varieties were acceptable. The service provided by the staff with the employees' tag below was superb during my breakfast. The room is huge, a truly international 5 star quality. Daily cleaning service was great while I didn't manage to get their name, but kudos to their services. All in all, my experience here was great, and I would recommend anyone who stay at this hotel.

The hotel is in a good location, not far from the highway and Datong South Station. It has its own parking lot, which is convenient for self-driving. It is also next to Wanda Plaza, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. The front desk reception is polite and enthusiastic. The room size is good, the bedding and bathroom are neat and clean, and fruit was delivered the next day. The hotel also has services such as night beds. Breakfast can be paid by credit card. There are local specialty noodles and mutton offal. The coffee is freshly ground coffee, and the beans are of good quality. There are many types of Western pastries. I tried a matcha cup, which feels like it is made by the store's own chef, which is very good. It feels like a store that can meet both business and tourism needs.

It's hard to fault this hotel. Very modern, very clean, and in an excellent location for those using Datong South 大同南站, which you can see from the hotel itself. There isn't a whole lot to do in the surrounding area, so I mightn't recommend basing yourself here for an entire Datong trip. However, as I arrived at 3am, it was a perfect spot to get a good nights sleep. I can't give it a full 5/5 though as, for a rather generic (though indeed clean and modern) chain-style hotel room in a smaller city like Datong, I found the price to be quite expensive at over 400rmb per night.

My wife's favourite hotel. Exceeded expectations in many areas. I feel like going back now. The room is new, big and really comfortable. Lots of little things made us feel so good: e.g. free snacks and dessert, books for browsing, free laundry, dining table, huge TV, big window. Now the down sides: There are not many eateries within walking distance. But I guess you can order delivery. They deliver to your hotel room here. It is so new that many cab drivers do not know the place.

Spacious room, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were more than adequate with a choice of varieties. Hotel location was ok just outside the wall though neighbouring shops were all shuttered. Taxis plentiful and inexpensive. Nightly dinner was at the hotel restaurant - good food, surprisingly very affordable prices and extremely good services from the staff. What stood out most were the very helpful, cheerful staff, at the front desk, restaurants, and cleaners!

Had a very pleasant stay for two nights. The hotel lives up to it reputation. I have stayed at the same hotel in Europe in the past, and it continues to maintain its star quality in terms of courtesy, cleanliness, amenities, and response time should you make a special request. A minibar in every room in the future would be nice. The location is great, as some of the attractions are within 5 kilometers. However, not many dining options within walking distance.

We were warmly greeted by friendly staff upon arrival, making us feel welcome right away. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the team went the extra mile to help us register on their app as we are foreigners, ensuring we could easily access Wi-Fi and contact them if needed. We had called ahead to request a humidifier and air purifier, and were pleased to find them already prepared in our room when we checked in. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the inclusion of an electric toilet with a heated seat was a thoughtful touch, especially during the winter season. Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered was genuinely helpful and sincere in their service, always making sure we were well taken care of. We initially planned to stay from 6/12/24 to 8/12/24 but felt so at home that we decided to extend our stay for an additional two days. A big thank you to the team at Mecure Hotel for their exceptional service and attention to detail. Me and my Husband had agreed this is best hotel in our 17 days China trip. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to returning in the future. Great job!

The room was nice and clean. I didn't bring a mobile phone charger on this trip, so the multi-function charger was provided in the room, which was great. I especially want to thank the front desk and room service lady for finding a charger specifically for my phone at 12 o'clock in the evening, which was great. Thank you, I will choose this hotel again next time I go on a business trip.
