Not what I expected from La Quinta. To be a non smoking room it smelled like smoke. That part we can deal with but the roach running across the nightstand I had trouble coming to grips with. I went to see if I could change rooms but was told no more rooms available. Scared to cancel not wanting to be charged for cancelation after the free period. So the wife and I decided to make the best of it considering it was our anniversary. What a big mistake. After further exploring the room we discovered the condition was horrifying. Besides the roaches there were a nest of spiders in one corner of the ceiling. Mold on ceiling over the bed, black mold on the door and in the shower. The toilet ran all night until I got tired of it and fixed it myself. The AC didn't work properly. The floor was too nasty to walk on barefooted. We went out the next day to celebrate, when we returned our key cards wasn't working. Guy in the room next to us told us we had to go to the office that it happened to him earlier. One of my worst experiences.

The staff was very unprofessional
We arrived at the correct location
Showed the confirmation number
The gentleman at the front desk advised that we are at the wrong location
I asked him twice to check my last name but he insisted that we were at the wrong place
Proceeded to enter the address of the other location in my google maps
I drove for 25 minutes after a long day and a flight
When I arrived there of course it was the wrong place
So after half an hour of being on hold I was advised to drive back to the original place
I’m extremely disappointed
Besides the fact that this hotel is very dirty, and the smell is unbelievable

First I walked in my room and the lights were completely off and the light switch next to the door as far as I can tell does nothing so I had to go around individually turning on the lamps. Then the first thing I see is a bug crawling on the bed. I booked for 3 days and during my stay the room was infested with bugs and there’s definitely something wrong with their plumbing because this was my 2nd stay here and just like the first time, my toilet clogged and started flowing back up crap and like a dark powdery poop-looking-something gradually rising and falling like an oceans tide leaving behind that residue. And speaking of water, their pool looked disgusting like it doesn’t get cleaned regularly. It was constantly noisy during my stay, even at night, from people walking by talking, to trucks backing up beeping all day long everyday, and then on my 2nd day here, all day long there was some kind of alarm or something blaring on and off. And just walking around outside there’s kids just sitting on the stairs screaming at people walking by for fun. I will not be back.

please don’t waste your money They are infested with roaches and when asked to do housekeeping they will not clean the only way I was able to get fresh towels and for them to do a slight cleaning was to call corporate after asking 3 times to please clean I took videos of all the roaches crawling in the fridge in the bathroom on the night stands on the chair don’t leave anything open and to top it off after they cleaned my sweater was missing asked front desk and nothing. I was in the airport with a tshirt on looking crazy. And they take a 100 dollar deposit not even Marriott does that high of a deposit They don’t have breakfast they only give coffee and juice
