Super Unterkunft. Von A-Z hat alles geklappt. Eine tolle Unterkunft mit Kindern. Am Abend war es ab 22.00 uhr sehr ruhig im Hof und auch mit offenen Fenstern lässt es sich so gut schlafen. Das Frühstück war zum Geniessen in einem schönen Saal. Allgemein ist diese Jugendherberge wunderschön eingerichtet. Das Museum ist top und mit Kindern sehr gut machbar. Es gibt ein Rätselspass, basteln, Truhen öffnen, Schatzkisten und vieles mehr. Es lohnt sich dieses Museum zu besuchen. Diese Unterkunft ist nur zum Empfehlen

We did stay from Dec 31st, 2022 to Jan 1st, 2023 in two rooms on the third floor. Everything was clean and neat. Modern rooms with enough space and a large bath. Comfortable beds and all well maintained. Check-in and check-out were fast and all service personnel was very very friendly and helpful. On top free entrance to the Formula-1 museum and the large impressive Aquarium on the lower floor with restaurant. There is plenty of parking space too so altogether a great and relaxing stay. The rooms in the homestay are large and clean, and the owner is very friendly. But there is a church near the hotel, this church will ring the bell every hour, even when it is sleeping in the early morning. . . . So the quality of sleep is not good.

Great hotel location superb, 3 mins from Railway Station, 5 mins from Town centre. Hotel overlooks the river Aare with superb views of the Jura Mountains. Modern hotel with great rooms, my only (very small) suggestion for an improvement would be Aircon a bit cooler, but I just like very cold bedrooms, so possibly that's just me. Breakfast was great with a huge choice of freshly cooked food and cold platters, staff friendly and professional.

We stayed for a couple days over the easter holiday. We stayed in the Annex, not the main hotel. The annex is a bit farther away from the main public areas. The room was comfortable, and the window was facing the Munster. It was a fairly quiet room and very comfortable. The linens on the bed were comfortable and the shower excellent. The staff was very polite and helpful, both in the reception and the bar. Due to dinner arrangements, we did not take dinner nor breakfast at the hotel. We did however, go to the bar for a post-hike drink. There is a parking garage in the annex, but we parked our car at the Baseltor garage. The hotel is also about a 10 minute walk from the train station. The hotel is very conveniently located in Solothurn, and is our favourite now for our frequent short stays in the town. We will definitely stay in the hotel during our next stay.
