Booked specifically a room with ocean view. Got a room with a construction view that didn’t let me sleep. Room was supposed to be a king size bed but got a queen size bed. What did I pay my money for?

It is my second time staying at the AC hotel but in a different location. The property and their service are excellent. The beds are comfortable and the location in Fort Lauderdale is very close to the beach, restaurants, and stores. Everyone at the hotel is friendly and helpful. I definitely want to come back to this hotel. Highly recommended!

Staff was top notch, but property should alert guests that there is construction going on right across the street from the hotel. I booked an "ocean view" room with a balcony but view outside my balcony was the construction site across the street. I tried to get my room changed but they couldnt do it. Woke up during weekdays to hammering, etc. and it was impossible to use balcony due to workers.

Great spot on the beach, we paid for the most expensive ocean view balcony room and we did get ocean view but our balcony was so tiny... they have ocean view rooms with wrap around balconies but no one could tell me why we couldn't have one and gave a few different excuses that didnt make any sense...
Overall ok stay but next time i would stay somewhere else..

Booked an ocean front room. Paid for it through 3 party. Arrived and they only gave us a partial ocean view looking at a construction site. We paid for a full ocean front view. The front desk lady was incredibly rude and non helpful. No manager on site to help. I have sent emails, spoke with Marriott have a case number and I still have not heard a single word on why and how this happened. And the best part, they never fixed the problem or gave us a refund for not getting the room we stayed in. Horrible experience. Also note, that construction is very loud right now. So if you are looking for loud construction in the early morning hours of your vacation for sure book this property. Picture: what we thought we booked, what the reality was. Beware!!!

The hotel was clean with a great location. Bedroom and bath were excellent. However, we could not get the room temperature right (they did send sometime to help almost immediately and he tried his best). Also, the shower gel and shampoo were runny. Nickpicking, I know, but it was not a cheap place to stay.
