It was the most comfortable and elegant hotel during my itinerary in Austria. Although it is located about 15 minutes away by car from Salzburg, I had a very good stay without any inconvenience while touring the city. I recommend it.

Travelled with our 11 month old for a weekend break in Salzburg. Hotel is a very short drive out of Salzburg, had no trouble driving in, and offers free parking. Rooms were clean and bright, with plenty of space for our baby bed, plus a nice balcony with mountain view. We had a room with a window into the shower room, I think it's the first time in my life I've had a shower with such a beautiful view! Check in and out was friendly and professional, lots of info given and happy to help with any queries. We ate in the restaurant on the first night, food was delicious and there was plenty of it! Service also good and happy to accommodate our daughter and her constant waving and smiling at everyone! Breakfast also great, again, the staff were friendly and accommodating, food was delicious, plenty of options, the home made jams were really good and our daughter loved the scrambled egg. We absolutely loved our stay, nothing to fault, and we would love to return again.

We spent a wonderful long weekend with friends at the Hotel Ammerhauser. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, the breakfast very good, the restaurant also excellent. It was an unusually hot weekend, so we were grateful for the (silent) air conditioning in our room. There was no sound from other rooms, and the hotel is in a quiet area of the small town. There is absolutely nothing we can complain about.

The rooms were very well equipped and clean. Unfortunately, we had a room with a clear view of the church. Despite the windows being closed, we could still hear the bells on Sunday morning. The breakfast buffet was OK. There was a small problem with the access cards, but this was solved by the staff.

I've been here a few times, good hotel with modern rooms and bathrooms. Unfortunately the only drawback is the carpet in the room. Great breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. I can recommend the Ammerhauser at any time. Close to the German border and a short distance to Salzburg.

A beautiful experience conquered by the hospitality and friendliness of the staff and the owner. Clean and well-kept hotel, rooms in line with the price. We will definitely return when we are passing through. Best regards

Hotel in a quiet location, only about 15 minutes from Salzburg city. OK for a short trip, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer vacation. Unfortunately, there was a club meeting in the hotel at the time we were there with around 35 guests who were unfortunately very loud. Dinner in the garden was OK. But later they were at the hotel bar and all the doors and windows to the garden were open and it was very loud until after 3am and sleeping was out of the question :-( The room was clean, OK. On the positive side, it was finally a hotel where the glasses in the bathroom and in the room were clean and not just quickly washed out. Bathroom and toilet separate. When you want to dry yourself off after a shower and open the shower door, you have to reach around the corner to get to the shower head, so despite the shower mat everything is wet, rather impractical. Breakfast: There are lots of different juices for breakfast but unfortunately no orange juice!? There are lots of different types of soft cheese and cheese cubes but no sliced ​​cheese, unfortunately. Different types of eggs to order. Good selection of bread and different types of sausage, unfortunately no turkey sausage (as I don't eat pork), or it wasn't labelled. Dinner: We had dinner in the garden, small a la carte menu with little choice, not even different salads, I would always eat that in summer, a shame. The sirloin slices were not sirloin, heavily seared on the outside and almost raw on the inside. We complained and it was brought back to the kitchen, but the mistake was that the piece of meat had been put on the grill at full heat and it got even darker on the outside but stayed the same on the inside. Instead of putting it on the side of the grill where the heat was lower and it could slowly catch on. We were apologetic and invited to dessert, but that didn't make me any less hungry, which is a shame.

The reception team is very attentive and helpful when you arrive. Rooms, bathrooms, seminar rooms are perfect. Great breakfast and excellent cuisine. I'm already looking forward to my next stay... many thanks to the great team and see you next time

I had a very quiet double room with a fantastic breakfast. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean and inviting. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is hard to beat. A top hotel with great food. Menu: small but very, very fine! Highly recommended. Please visit the Hotel Ammerhauser in Anthering. I/we will be back!

First-class hotel, friendly and family atmosphere. Top-class cuisine, great service. We have visited four times now, mostly over the New Year, always lovely and always the perfect start to a new year. Many thanks to the lovely Ammerhauser family!

Very nice, family-run hotel. In a quiet location and Salzburg is just a few kilometers away. The rooms are very nice and spacious. Everything was very clean. The restaurant and the kitchen are excellent. The staff were always very friendly and helpful at all times. The hotel is highly recommended. We would love to come back here. A big thank you to the whole hotel team!!!

Wir kommen jedes Jahr her zum Ganslessen. Dieses Jahr lassen wir uns diese Köstlichkeit auch nicht entgehen, darum habe ich schon einen Tisch für zwei Personen reserviert am 11.11.2024. Wir freuen uns schon sehr auf dieses wirklich sehr köstliche Ganslessen.

Ein unglaublich schönes familiengeführtes ländliches Hotel, Abholung vom Bahnhof war auch ohne Voranmeldung möglich,saubere moderne Zimmer, immer freundliches Personal, es wird viel Wert auf Bio und Nachhaltigkeit gelegt. Ich würde dieses Hotel jederzeit auch privat besuchen.

Ein schöne, großzügige, saubere Hotelanlage ! Wir hatte ein Zimmer "de luxe", groß und sehr effizient eingerichtet mit Balkon, mit Blick in den Innenhof und auf die Berge! Alle waren sehr freundlich und sind auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen! Die Überraschung war ein Abend mit live Musik in einer lauen Sommernacht. Mittag - und Abendessen waren top! Beim Frühstück vorzuheben, ist der Kaffee aus der Maschine! Für uns ein perfektes Wochenende!
