The place was nice. Could be cleaner, but this was a decent hotel. More like 3-4 star, but okay.

AVOID this property as it is NOT SAFE! Police and medical services had to be called 3 times during my stay, all for different reasons. I would not recommend staying at this hotel for anyone. Further, management assured me that if I stayed past my first night, they would comp that night off. That did not happen. I asked the general manager, Eric Gray, to give me a call to discuss these issues. He has not called.

Stayed here again for a long weekend at the end of the July. This was our third stay this year, and each time everything has been great. Check-in was efficient and professional. I didn't catch the name of the front desk attendant, but he was very welcoming. Courtyard rooms are similar across the brand, but the rooms here are always comfortable. The location is great if you're seeing a baseball game or have any meetings on the N/NE side of Atlanta. This Courtyard always exceeds expectations, and we'll continue to stay here on future trips to Atlanta.

This is an excellent hotel! Clean and the front desk pleasant. Room was clean and fresh. We plan to stay here again upon future visits to Atlanta. Parking free as well. Bistro service was fine and friendly. There are restaurants close by as well.

We were checked in and had been in our room about an hour when another guest opens our door, peeks in, says "Oh", and then left. I called the front desk and later found out they had mistakenly assigned the room to another guest. I was also told that the room should not have been given to me because it had no curtains - and sure enough it did not, only a sheer, and the bright lights from the parking lot served as a very bright night light. By that time we had unpacked and tired so we decided to stay but we were sure to use the security bolt to keep anyone else from coming in during the night. We did not have a very restful night. The bed was fine, but the water pressure for the sink and shower was not very good. When we checked out the next morning, they still thought we had been in another room. No apologies. I can't recommend this place because their management is clearly incompetent.

If it hadn’t been for the staff of this hotel, I would have rated it only 2 stars. We booked this property because we knew it was fairly new, it was a last minute decision to travel, and we had Marriot points. First problem was at checkin when we couldn’t check in using our Bonvoy app. The one desk clerk available was also handling the phone calls. She was doing the best she could. Apparently there was no manager on duty for a Friday afternoon…which we found odd. In our room, the shower’s control knob was loose and wouldn’t stay in position to keep hot water flowing and there was no shower gel container. Had to shower with cold water and shampoo for my body. We reported the problem and received some extra bars of soap to put in the shower and a promise the knob would be fixed. Later that evening it was still loose but we figured a way to adjust it ourselves. The next morning there was 1 person working the breakfast station. Nice staff member but she could have used help, too. The bar of this hotel only opened in the evenings and had no Coke products and no regular vodka. Again, staff member manning the bar was nice when I complained that my rum and coke tasted funny. It was rum and Pepsi! There was no regular vodka, either. After dinner, we actually walked to the hotel next door to have a proper drink. To add insult to injury, our room’s mini fridge stopped working sometime in the night, and I had to throw out some food I was keeping there! Thanks to the friendly staff members who did their best at a property that apparently is on the decline and poorly managed. As Marriot Bonvoy frequent guests, we were very disappointed in this hotel and will NOT stay there again.

The best hotel I visited recently, clean, quiet, great price, employees were the best, southern hospitality at its best. The food was amazing, whenever I’m in Atlanta I will be staying at this great hotel, I can’t wait to refer others to this great hotel, my host was April and I would like to thank you again. I vote you #1 in customer service.

We booked this hotel last minute using our Marriott points. I had an eye procedure five minutes away, and was finished by 11am. I also had a post-op early the next morning so that's the reason for booking overnight. We only live 2 hours away, but the early morning drive to Atlanta can be nerve racking when your not use to bumper to bumper everyday. I called Rashad (who was so kind, and professional) at the front desk to see if there were any rooms for early check in since i really did not feel like hanging around till 3pm and i just wanted to sleep. He said " yes ma'am we have a room available." Check in was less than five minutes, and I was asleep in my room by noon. The room was clean, as I did my normal bed, linen and towel check. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in at a hotel, and the room layout was wonderful as well as the refrigerator and microwave in the cabinet. This room also had so many mirrors in the bathroom, closet, and even beside the bed, plug ins, and USB ports its crazy, but we appreciate it. We had to check out early, but this hotel being close to everything, but off the beaten path will be our new overnight stop from here on out.

Unfortunately this hotel has not aged well. I stay here often and have realized that almost every room has broken items that don’t get addressed. I know that most hotels don’t provide the best shower experience but this is by far the worst I’ve encountered as a business traveler at Marriott with 75 nights per year. Absolute horrid water pressure and luke warm temps at its hottest. The staff is above average and friendly. I have chosen to use another property moving forward.
