This really is one of our favourite hotels anywhere… not just Ghent; Belgium; Europe. It’s a great location, right in the centre on a canal. And you can take breakfast outside and canal-side, a real treat. Our room was delightful: large, beautifully designed and executed with silent air-conditioning, plugs where you need them, great plumbing and a Nespresso machine (my idea of excellence!) We didn’t have a canal view - which might anyhow have been noisy - but there was a balcony which we could treat as our own and look down on the revellers. The pool is in the middle of the back of the hotel. It’s small but pleasant with not quite enough seating. There is parking - slightly complicated but there. And the staff are great: welcoming; efficient and helpful. It feels very well run.

We were only here for one night but we had a wonderful stay. We drove over from the ferry port in Calais and it was very easy to find. The hotel is in a wonderful location. We booked the family room exceptionale duplex. We were advised on booking that they don’t recommend d the room for families with young children as it has a spiral stair case. As our 2 year old is competent on the stairs we said we would take that responsibility and ensure he was never unaccompanied. When we got to the room we soon realised why they don’t recommend it for young children. The mezzanine level has a low balcony rail which has wide gaps and there is also a gap between the wall and the stair case. This is completely our choice but had I raised it wasn’t but the stairs that were the issue I would have booked the other room. Despite this, the room is beautifully decorated. There is an outside pool which is heated and a lovely addition. Breakfast is sensational. We and the children loved it. Lots to choose from and a hot option too. Would recommend.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough!! The views are absolutely incredible and our room was so spacious and enjoyable. The staff were beyond amazing and helped my fiancé set up our engagement, including hiring a photographer. They also set up laundry services for us. The location is perfect to walk to food, drinks, and it’s just beautiful. When I return to Gent, I will absolutely be staying here again.

This was our second short stay in this hotel. The staff are friendly and efficient. the room we booked was perfect in that it had a balcony overlooking the canal and the skyline of Ghent. You cannot blame the hotel that the heavens were trying to set records levels of rainfall! Breakfast was good with a very wide choice and even the eggs and bacon on thje buffet ere hot. I'd stay there again

We loved our 3-night stay at Hotel Harmony. We stayed in the building behind the main building and had plenty of room for three people. The beds were comfortable, and my daughter said even the pull-out bed was comfortable. We appreciated the air-conditioning. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning, with a nice selection of foods, and omelettes, waffles and pancakes to order. We loved eating at the outside tables overlooking the river. I would definitely stay here again!

This was our 4th hotel on our 16 days trip thru Holland/Belgium in August 2024. Location: excellent - a few min easy walk to the Gravensteen Castle, St. Michael's Bridge, St Bavo's Cathedral, Patershol, and other wonderful attractions. We stayed in Luxury double room with view - pretty big room, which had a big terrace (balcony) overlooking the canal, floor to ceiling windows, great working air-conditioner (it was very warm when we were there in August). The only problem we had with the room is that there was absolutely no electrical outlets on the nightstands. For us, it was a big issue. Both my husband and I have a few gadgets (including, of course, cell phones) that we are accustomed to charging overnight right next to us, on the nightstands, which we could not do here. Breakfast was OK for us, not bad, but definitely not the best variety and quality on our trip. Al in all, good stay and would recommend for the very convenient location and a nice view from the room.

Charming family-run boutique hotel in a lovely central part of Ghent. Rooms are nice sized, clean and very comfortable. However, what makes this hotel special is the extra-kind staff. Every employee seems to be happy to be working there, which is not always the case in many hotels. We were lucky enough to meet one of the owners, and he was especially friendly and helpful. We will be sure to book another stay at Hotel Harmony if we return to Ghent. Thank you for a fabulous 3 night stay!

What a fantastic hotel in a fantastic location in a fantastic city! Right by the water, the hotel was welcoming, well organised and comfortable. We had the two courtyard rooms where it was quiet and comfy, with nice showers and all amenities. We had booked a car space and the instructions of how to get there were simple - we had worried about driving too far into the car-less area! Staff were great on both days as were the late night drinks in the bar. Thoroughly recommended!

Stayed here recently and have to say this was an outstanding hotel in beautiful Ghent! Easy check in, large room (we opted for the deluxe with balcony, #130) overlooking the canal, plentiful and delicious breakfast, and wonderful, helpful staff. I can't say enough good things about the Hotel Harmony! Would definitely recommend as it's centrally located in the city and has all the ammenities you'll need on your visit. 5 stars all around!
