Hotel Carlton

I extended my stay for another night because the price on this app was good. I'm not disappointed with this hotel; the sleep was comfortable.

They completely disregarded my booking requests and the check-in confirmation. I was given a terrible, low-floor room that was very noisy. When I left early in the morning, I wasn't informed about an alternative side exit, and the main door was locked. Luckily, other guests helped me out, otherwise, I would have missed my train.

The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the train station. The lobby is on the smaller side, but it has a cozy, homey feel, like a family living room. The staff were all very warm and friendly, even helping to heat up food. It's a bit of a distance from the main tourist attractions, but there are plenty of tram options nearby. There are also lots of convenient and tasty restaurants and cafes in the area!

Lovely spacious and clean room in a good location. Right next to the train station and close to a tram stop for getting to the city center (or a 25-minute walk). The bed is super comfortable and the staff are incredibly friendly. I'm very satisfied and will definitely be back.

The room was spacious. It's located near Ghent-Sint-Pieters train station, within walking distance. It seems to be a renovated old building, with three rooms per floor. The elevator is quite small, but the rooms are very spacious. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. A good experience overall.
