The hotel is conveniently located near my child's apartment. The room was a bit small, and I had to bring my own toothbrush and slippers. Breakfast was decent. The only downside is, if your schedule isn't set in stone, definitely don't book a non-refundable rate. They wouldn't even consider negotiating a date change! I had planned to go to the Highlands for three days and wanted to adjust my booking, but they refused. After multiple negotiations through Ctrip (a big thank you to their overseas customer service!), I eventually had to pay for an extra night to change the dates. I guess I'll just have to chalk it up to bad luck!

The location is great, really close to Glasgow Central and Queen Street Station, which makes getting around super easy. The room was very clean, and they even cleaned it daily. It's perfect for solo travelers.

The bed was quite comfortable and the environment was quiet. The room was clean and the staff's attitude was okay. It would be great if the shampoo could be upgraded, as it would make my hair less dry. The bathroom space was just right, and breakfast was available.

I would not recommend staying at this Ibis and I certainly wouldn’t return. The location is inconvenient, as it’s not close to the main bus or train stations, which makes getting around unnecessarily difficult. The room itself was disappointing. The curtains were visibly dirty, which immediately gave the impression that cleanliness isn’t a priority. The “double bed” is actually just two single beds pushed together, and you can clearly feel the split in the middle when sleeping, which is uncomfortable. The bathroom is extremely small with a tiny sink that barely functions properly. There is also no fridge in the room, and when I asked whether staff could store some food in their fridge, they refused. The wardrobe is also strange—more like an awkward shelf than a proper wardrobe. The check-in experience felt rushed and impersonal, more like a box-ticking exercise than an attempt to make guests feel welcome. What stood out the most was how rigid the hotel was regarding late checkout. As an Accor member, I was told the latest checkout possible was 1pm. I understand it is subject to availability, but when I asked the following day if it could be extended to 2pm, they refused. I even asked for a small compromise of 1:30pm and that was also refused. The lack of flexibility was surprising and disappointing. Overall, the hotel feels basic, cramped, and lacking in both comfort and hospitality. I would strongly recommend keeping your money and choosing one of the many better options that actually value their guests. I wouldn’t return.

The room is clean and comfortable. The hotel is located on the center of the city. Most places are just walk around the corner

My husband and I (state pensioners) stayed at this hotel, paying £109.85p for our room for 1 night and the experience was shocking. When we went down for breakfast, we were barred from the dining room and told it was reserved exclusively for specific "groups" (asylum seekers). I didn't know I was sharing this hotel with ayslym seekers, I wouldn't have booked it had I known . As a partially disabled guest, I was told I had go up a flight of stairs (impossible) and find my way along a corridor to find the dining area in completely different hotel or to physically leave my hotel, walk out into the street, go around the block and enter this separate hotel just to get my breakfast. There was no day manager available to handle our issue when we wanted to complain. 'Its Sunday' the receptionist said as if that was an acceptable excuse. The front desk receptionist showed a complete lack of care or understanding. When I complained she was completely dismissive and didn't see the problem. She claimed someone "should have explained this" at check-in (they absolutely didn't) and suggested that the morning staff should have just brought me a selection from the buffet to eat in the small reception area or my room. I did not pay to have a random plate chosen for me, nor did I pay to eat breakfast in a small reception area where an ayslym seeker was sprawled out on a chair snoring. Outside was strewn with delivery bicycles, I can only guess he had a busy night. The lack of upfront communication, the total disregard for a guest with mobility issues and the substandard environment are disgraceful. Taking people's money without disclosing that your main facilities are closed to standard guests is completely dishonest. I am incredibly disappointed and will be pursuing a formal refund. Avoid this hotel.

Convenient location, allowed early check-in and late check-out. No proper AC in room, just a climate control set to 20 degrees. Friendly staff.
