Unfortunately the bathroom had the strongest smell of sewage that filled the entire room. Could not sleep and ended up sick in the morning🤢 We did speak to reception who advised there were no alternative rooms and to complain in the morning. When we spoke to staff in the morning they advised management weren’t in and so they were unable to resolve the matter for us."

The food at breakfast was very good with a choice of pastries, cereals, fruit and a good selection of hot buffet including good quality bacon and sausages, scrambled egg, beans, potato scone, and mushrooms. Tea or coffee and toast is served to you at your table. The leisure facilities were a bonus with a good size pool, sauna and steam room. We didn't make use of the spa facilities but it looked like a very nice place to have a treatment. The room itself was very spacious, comfortable bed and pillows and an amazing shower. All in all we would definitely stay again and try other hotels in the Macdonald chain."

The reception staff were fantastic, very professional, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The breakfast was decent as well, although we were unable to try many of the buffet options due to personal preferences and faith-based dietary restrictions. Overall, we enjoyed our time in Glasgow."

"From the moment I booked this hotel it was all perfect! Perfection improved when we got a free upgrade. The reception staff were very professional. The hotel is modern and clean. Room was really clean with crisp white bedding and pristine modular type bathroom. There was a hairdryer (as expected) , there was an iron and ironing board (not expected). The hotel is extremely central but there was little or no street noise for being next to a city road and above a Wetherspoons and our room was only on the first floor. Bath towels were sparkling clean and a great size. In room soaps etc were very nice too. I had a great sleep however my husband has a less than perfect sleep due to my snoring and having a lovely comfy bed. Ha ha! I will definitely have this as a go to hotel when I’m in Glasgow. 10/10 for a great visit."
