"I recently stayed at this hotel and one of the highlights of my visit was the stunning river view. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by how clean and comfortable everything felt, but the real standout was the scenery. My room overlooked the river, and waking up to the calm water and soft morning light was incredibly relaxing. In the evening, the view became even more beautiful, with reflections of the sunset creating a peaceful atmosphere. It made the whole stay feel more special and memorable. The room itself was well-maintained, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with large windows that made the most of the view. I also appreciated how quiet it was—perfect for unwinding after a long day. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the overall service added to the positive experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay with a beautiful river view."

"I traveled with a few friends and booked the same room type on the same day. However, I was assigned a very small room with old bathroom facilities. It was very depressing and uncomfortable. My companions' room was much more spacious and the bathroom facilities were relatively new."

Yotel Glasgow ★★★★
"We only stayed briefly, but YOTEL Glasgow left a great impression. The location is unbeatable—right next to Central Station, perfect for travellers. We were lucky to receive an upgraded room, which was nice and spacious. It was also remarkably quiet for such a central spot. While the room showed a few signs of wear in places, the overall comfort and convenience more than made up for it. Recommended for a short stopover."

Best Western Glasgow Hotel ★★★
"I am extremely disappointed and upset with my experience at this hotel. I accidentally left an envelope in my room containing £2,000 in cash. After I realized it was missing, I contacted the hotel, and I do appreciate that some of the staff tried to help me look for it. However, the envelope was never found. What makes this especially concerning is that only a few hours had passed between the time I left the room and when I reported the missing envelope. Given the circumstances, I find it very hard to believe that the envelope simply disappeared. It strongly makes me question the security and honesty of the housekeeping process at this hotel. Guests should be able to trust that if they accidentally leave something valuable behind in their room, the hotel will handle it properly and honestly. Unfortunately, this experience has made me feel the opposite. I am very disappointed, very angry, and I would not feel safe staying here again."

Aparthotel Adagio Glasgow Central ★★★★
"Great location, straightforward checkin, excellent price for twin room apartment. Good kitchen facilities - microwave, hob, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher- and reasonable quantities of crockery, cutlery, tumblers, wine glasses, washing up liquid etc. Good to have separate area with sofa and tv. WiFi perfectly fine. Slept fairly well but beds and especially pillows were very firm, I usually have 3 pillows but often 1 here was adequate. The main niggle was that we had an accessible room even though not requested. We understand it is hotel policy to allocate these when necessary and heard someone else who was disappointed as well. The problem is that if you’re 6 foot tall the low height of bathroom mirror, sink and fixtures makes things difficult to manage easily."

Premier Inn Glasgow City Centre South ★★★
"Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is good for exploring Glasgow and was a great base for our visit. The hotel itself was clean, well maintained, and our room was in good condition. The room was exceptionally warm during our stay, although this coincided with a heatwave and our south facing room undoubtedly contributed to this. The staff generally provided good service throughout our stay. It was apparent that some team members were newer to their roles, which unfortunately resulted in us being charged twice for Wi-Fi. However, when this was raised the following day, the issue was dealt with promptly and the duplicate charge was refunded without any problems. That said, the quality of the upgraded Wi-Fi service was disappointing given that it was a paid-for enhancement. The food quality was very good, and service was generally efficient and friendly. Unfortunately, on one evening we waited over two hours for our meal to arrive after placing our order. When we politely queried the delay, the staff member who responded was unexpectedly rude, which was disappointing. We raised the matter with management the following day, and they dealt with it professionally. They reviewed the situation, explained that the delay was due to staffing shortages, apologised sincerely, and offered a complimentary alcoholic drink the following evening. Service subsequently returned to the good standard we had experienced for the rest of our stay. While there were some issues during our visit, particularly regarding Wi-Fi, parking costs, and the isolated dining experience, these were largely addressed appropriately by management. One other point worth noting is that the hotel parking, even with the QR code discount offered by the hotel, is still very expensive for what is provided. Overall, a good hotel in a great location with clean facilities, good food, and staff who, in the main, were friendly and helpful. With some improvements to parking value and Wi-Fi quality, our experience would have been significantly better. I would consider staying again here when visiting Glasgow."
