"I stayed here as a first time traveler to Glasgow and I found this Safestay brach as the only viable option 😅 but also the best option: it is really well priced and high value, the interior is a little dated but it's actually very well maintained and clean, ventilation in the rooms could be slightly better but was alright, the common lounge was quite cozy and the staff was very kind and helpful. This is important to me and in regard to the service attitude this hostel is just excellent : ) The location is also very good - Glasgow is not a large city but the hostel is ideally situated, about a fifteen minute walk from Buchanan station and another fifteen minutes in any direction to get to another area to explore, i.e. Argyle street with nice pubs. Concluding: highly recommended."

"Nice little hotel walking distance to the heart of Glasgow. Room super small can only fit 1pax. With a medium luggage & a backpack on the floor, not much room to walk. Good for 1/2 nights just for sleep/rest. Nice to have charging ports just next to bed. No table to put things at all. Bathroom very small even for a small Asian woman like me. I keep hitting myself while showering 😅. Serve very basic purpose hotel. Can be quite noisy at the corridor just outside room as sound insulation not the best."

"Overall, the experience was very great. Location is close to ScotRail station and also close to airport bus stop. Fitness center is also great. There are free weights to work out. Room is large."

"A few little niggles no coffee in the evening just tea bit no milk. Good location for exploring shame the riverside oth was closed. Lift slightly erratic. Room was clean and had everything bar a kettle. Plenty of places to eat within a five minute walk. Cinema and Bowling next door.20 minute walk to the city centre or use an Uber."

"Didnt quote understand the idea of not giving two keys to a couple and then having it back whenever leaving. They even took my card details on arrival, which is fine. There was no label to hang on the door to prevent them from cleaning. The next morning when we came back from a quick tour, toilets towels looked changed. That felt kind of sneaky. We should have been told what to expect. And the mirrors position were quite odd in the toilet and the room. The staff was lovely and the location was useful tho. I loved the fried egg breakfast! Ohh and the kettle needed cleaning!"

"I really enjoyed my stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central. The hotel’s location is excellent — right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around on foot or by transport. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the overall experience very pleasant. One small area for improvement would be the in-room amenities. It would have been convenient to have items like a luggage scale or even a bathroom scale available, which are often handy for travelers. Overall, the combination of great location, professional staff, and comfortable facilities makes this a solid choice for a stay in Glasgow."

"In general fine, good view and clean room, the problem is the price of car park, as there are lots of car park here which charge £12 each 12 hours, means if you stay 15 hours you need to pay double - £24."

"Our room was great for watching trains at Glasgow central station, just outside the window. Clattering of the tracks went on late into the night. TV in room was 2nd most annoying thing, as could not turn off descriptive channel information. Breakfast ok. Hotel location was great for what we wanted to do in Glasgow. You can walk up the river to the crane and hydro. Not convinced it’s the best place to stay in Glasgow, I Think I got a good deal on the jnr suite price and I’d stay again."
