AM2The hotel and the room were very nice. Comfortable spaces, clean and with everything needed for a short stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast and options like water dispenser/board games were really appreciated, as well as the attention to recycling. Recommended!

A very nice holiday inn express in Glasgow in an ideal location with professional and helpful reception staff and a delicious breakfast breakfast. Holiday inn express, Theatreland is 250 metres from buchanan Street bus stop, about 350 metres from Queen Street train station, close to some really good restaurants, and supermarkets nearby. The reception staff were helpful whenever I asked a question. The breakfast was delicious. The room had a comfortable bed, was clean, and overall an enjoyable experience.

Anonymous UserThe room was a bit small, and the cleanliness was okay, but there were some marks on the sheets. They might have been clean marks, but it still bothered me a bit. I requested a room near the elevator, and it was literally right next to it, haha! The hotel is actually quite small, so everything is close by anyway. The service was excellent. My English isn't great, but the front desk lady and guy were both incredibly patient. The lady even used a translation app to tell me what she wanted to say. In the afternoon, I wanted to visit the museum, but my room wasn't ready yet. The lady proactively offered to store my luggage so I could go to the museum first and check in later. When I did check in, she also helped me with my luggage. Their attitude was very friendly throughout. The guy at the restaurant was also super friendly; he recommended the hot chocolate, which was indeed delicious and one of the few things I can praise about an English breakfast. He also noticed I was Chinese and proactively said ”Nihao” and ”Xie Xie,” which was very kind.

Guest UserTraveled from Edinburgh to Glasgow by car and chose this chain hotel based on many positive reviews. It was a short walk from the station. The environment, cleanliness, service – everything was excellent. Definitely worth a good review.

Booked a twin room but requested for a double bed if available. Given a room for disabled, whice had no furniture AT ALL, except the bed. No side tablets even. Window pane was fixed. There's no ventilation from the room as pane is f8xed and to get to your room you’ll have to pass through a series of fire doors. Air inside is trapped from ages. I developed nasal congestion due to this. On top of this, we were charged with 5 GBP for keeping luggage in storage before check in. I don't recommend booking this hotel.

Great location. Stayed here before. Staff are friendly but it's really let down in other areas.
Our room was filthy. Bed was fresh but the desk was sticky, carpet looked like it hadn't been hoovered in weeks and when I went to plug in my phone beside the bed there was the remains of someone's peperami snack lying on the floor.
Bathroom had a brown poo mark on the loo seat (which we cleaned!) And the loo floor was covered in long black hairs. I am platinum blonde and my friend has long dyed red hair... We told reception who offered to comp us breakfast but we had already paid for it so they just took the feedback.
We asked for an iron and ironing board, and they were really pitiful appliances. They could do with an upgrade for sure.
Oh and during breakfast the coffee machine was fully broken and was being taken apart...

Aju RAJUMind-blowing! The hotel is in a quiet area, but not far from the shops and restaurants. The room was tidy and fresh, and the staff are polite and offer a warm smile
