Great location, staff excellent, clean rooms, free parking (most of the hotels in the centre don’t have parking or you have to pay a fortune) we didn’t eat at the hotel but they do have an area where you can eat your own food and they offer free hot drinks.
A refined Glasgow business hotel with conference space for 800 delegates and a spa. The Crowne Plaza Glasgow is situated along the River Clyde, in a central yet quieter area of Glasgow, west of the heart of Glasgow City Centre, making it close enough but not within the immediate hustle and bustle. The hotel is particularly convenient for those attending events at the SEC Centre, OVO Hydro, or the SEC, all of which are right next door. You’ll find us in a striking, glass tower with Glasgow Airport only a 15-minute drive away, we offer convenient parking on site. Our Meetings Director is on hand to help with all the details, and there’s a Conference Café where guests can take a break. Elegant bedrooms have breathtaking city and river views. After work, savour a juicy steak while gazing out of the floor-to-ceiling windows in the Mariner Restaurant, or join colleagues for a glass of wine in the Mariner Lounge. The surrounding environment is very good, the scenery is pleasant, the hotel is right by the river, the parking lot is relatively large, and it is a little far from the business.

It is in an excellent location, near groceries and other main attractions. The hotel interior design is neat and finest. The staff was polite, kind, and attentive. The room was perfect.
Parking is near. The parking fee for my 1-night stay is 12 bucks. All is perfect

Modern, stylish hotel a stone's throw from the Hydro, Finnieston and Exhibition Centre Station. Just make sure if getting off the train to not make the mistake like me of taking the tunnel over the motorway which is a very roundabout way!
Lovely reception area with bar open til 2am. Reasonable prices for a hotel bar to be fair with Innis And Gunn Lager on tap. Very friendly staff.
Nice room with all modern amenities including USB-C charging slots and plugs by the bed. WiFi is very average though. Very powerful shower. Comfortable bed. Quiet. View of the Hydro's car park not particularly scenic.
Would definitely stay again if in the area and reasonable price.

Efficient and friendly check in.
Suite was comfortable, clean and spacious: extras included with drinks at bar, coffee and access to exec lounge all good. Would definitely stay again.
Would opt to go out for breakfast in future - the only downside to visit. A dirty oil taste to most cooked items of buffet, fried eggs were cold and required slightly more cooking with clear whites beside yolk. Tried the scrambled eggs instead and while light, and freshly prepared… a sever lack of flavour (suspect a pre-mixed product that was microwaved and not seasoned). Juices, yogurt/granola and coffee were good. Not worth the £15 each given what we could eat.
Originally built in the 1800s as one of the city’s very first power stations, a building that lit the path for Glasgow’s development, the Hotel Indigo® Glasgow hotel today puts you close to a new kind of buzz—local cuisine, world-class shopping, museums, historic theatres and sporting events. Our hotel’s design mixes Victorian architecture, high ceilings, and original brown brick with modern comfort. Murals by local artists line the walls, while our restaurant serves local dishes prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. It’s a great place to chat over a brew and look for the famous local Glaswegians depicted in the mural above diners’ heads.

Friendly reception at the counters (both front and level 7) except the lad manning what I think is the auto check in counters. Cheer up. Clean room. More varieties of food compared to Yotel Edinburgh. No kettle, coffee (tea) in the room unfortunately.

Outstanding
SSzeto Sai KitThe location is quite good it is just 10mins walk to train station and bus station. The room is clean and big. Toilet is clean too. Morning breakfast buffet was marvelous. There were Scottish breakfast and cereal. Also, some coffee machine and food machines. However, you must notice that there is a night club next to it. It will be very annoying and and noisy if they have events (normally weekend). You will be annoyed until 4am.
JJJ2025Another great stay. Housekeeping turned up at 10am which was disappointing cause check out isn’t till 12pm, so made me feel a bit rushed to get out. Heaters in room don’t stay above 26c even though the dial goes to 32c and me being naturally cold meant I woke up quite a bit during the night as the room wasn’t warm enough.
Highly recommend the hotel, great staff and great pool with Steam room and gym. Only real disappointing thing about the hotel is breakfast is like £18 and I’m not a big breakfast person just toast and coffee so it ain’t worth it for me I think there should be a cheaper option for light eaters.
SStephenBeautiful old railway hotel adjacent to the station, which provides excellent access if visiting by train. Though the hotel has heritage, it has been brought up to date without loosing any of its feel as a beautiful old Victorian building.
Our room was perfect, very quiet especially considering it is next to the station and the city centre, rhe beds were very comfortable, bathroom wonderful and temperature perfect. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow who doesn’t want to stay in a modern concrete box.
SSapphirexIbis Styles Glasgow Central is a good location to stay should you intend to layover in Glasgow. It's about 10 minutes walking distance from Glasgow Central Station and within 15 minutes from fast food eateries and shopping places. Rooms are clean and basic amenities are provided for. Breakfast is good and incorporates a mix of international and English cuisines.
HOWEVER, I have had a bad experience regarding a certain payment. I booked this hotel via Trip.com and have prepaid for my stay. When I checked in on 17/7, I was told by the receptionist of that day that my card details were needed. I was assured that there would be no deduction performed and that the details were only required should there be incurred damages in my room during the stay. Yet, on the same day evening, I received a notification that 143 pounds had been deducted. I questioned the receptionist of that day and was reassured, and I quote: ”There was this transaction made to confirm that your card is not a dunce and is payable.”
The next day, before checking out, I reconfirmed with the receptionist of that day (18/7) if the money would be refunded to me. After checking on their end, they said that the money will be refunded. This morning (19/7), I have just received another notification that the status of the 143-pounds transaction has changed from pending to approved. I am disappointed and upset regarding this, and I would like to urge future travellers to be wary of this incident.
GGuest UserReally Friendly staff who gave out recommendations as to what I could do since It's my first time in Glasgow, bit of a weird brekkie since it's all cold except for the toast but hey It's a new experience. Thank you Point A team!
BBee HoonWe stayed during Christmas season and there was a Xmas market next door. The hotel is spacious and all the necessary facilities, including kitchen and washing machine are provided.
GGuest UserGood comfort, however ruined by noises around 3am when the couple next door (room 1005) were shouting at each other which woke my partner and I up. We couldn’t get back to sleep. I’m aware it was Hogmanay however this was not on
SSteveI have to say that all the staff I met were fantastic. The people at reception and in the restaurant were excellent. The cleaning staff also showed perfect honesty by handing in things that I had left behind in the room. However, the fabric of the building is tired. The shower (over the bath) was not consistent, the channel changer was faulty. The bar/restaurant area had no vibrance. Also cash was not accepted. Very reasonable price
AAndy.12The ubication is good close to the train station, just they can improve the Customer service i call many times before to arrive and they never answer.
