What a great place to stay. Simple, clean and interesting. Close to the Glass Mountains and 10 minutes from the Zoo. Bird sounds at night and mornings made you feel deep in a jungle. We slept very well. We made our own meals in the super clean communal kitchen (the offered breakfast wasn’t till 8:30 and we were hiking Ngungun by then). Only wished we had spent more than one night.

My second visit to the Ecolodge. I wanted a longer stay after only one night in 2019. It's a beautiful place in a stunning location. I stayed in an Orchard room again. Yes, it's basic. No frills. But it's clean and I had the best night's sleep of the 2 weeks I spent in QLD here. It's so calm, quiet and peaceful. This time round I used the shared cooking facilities in the railway carriage. Believe me, I'm very fussy (OCD) when it comes to cleanliness of a kitchen and this place was spotless. I was more than happy to cook my steak on the BBQ and prepare a salad in the extensive kitchen. Then eat it on the balcony with a nice red listening to the cidacas chorus rising and falling. Brilliant! The location is great. I walked from the lodge round Mt Tibrogargan which overlooks it, a 5km round trip. Glasshouse Mountains village is a short (5min) drive from the lodge should you want to dine out in the Tavern or grab a few supplies from the IGA (the steak from the butcher in town was devine!). Unfortunately, Keith was away, but Sally did an outstanding job in his absence preparing breakfast and interacting with the other guests. I also had one of the best massages I've ever experiened by Kim, the lodge's recommended practitioner. Can't wait to come back again for another visit. Hopefully sooner this time.

We booked very last minute as we wanted to see the glass house mountains en route from Noosa to the Gold coast. Sally was soo great to deal with, especially as we would be arriving out of hours. She left us lovely notes telling us where to find everything. We went to the camp kitchen to make our tea and there was another family in there. It was lovely chatting to each other about our travels and the places we have visited. The kitchen has everything you could wish for. Loads of fridge and freezer space and every utensil you could need. Breakfast was outside the railway carriage and we all are together with Sally looking after us. She was friendly and chat and I really enjoyed the breakfast conversations. Breakfast was $14 and well worth it. Lots of continental choices. We had a great day and would defo recommend and Sally is a diamond.

We had a lovely stay here. The bungalow was spacious and had full kitchen facilities. So, after 3 weeks on the road, we were able to enjoy some home cooking. There is a small IGA supermarket in the nearby Glasshouse Mountains township or a larger Woolworths 5kms away in Beerwah. We slept soundly in a very comfortable bed and awoke to the sound of birdsong. The property was ideally located to enable us to do some the walking trails and visit the lookouts on our doorstep and in Maleny. I can thoroughly recommend that you do the walk at the Mary Cairncross Park in Maleny. It was a real treat (as was the coffee and scones afterwards in their Lookout Cafe)

It's a good location for touring the Glasshouse mountains. For a night or two it's a base to tour Maleny and the Mary Cairncross rainforest. Breakfast was enjoyable and relaxing outside. Keith is very helpful and there were good suggestions on where to visit. The rooms are basic but adequate for a couple of nights. We used the bbq one night and visited the Tavern in Glasshouse another. The Hikers seemed to especially like the accommodation and the hiking options which are available

Went to stay at the eco-lodge with my friend just for the one night. We stayed in the train carriage and we had the most wonderful time! Attention to detail both in our room and through the shared spaces was immaculate and it was lovely to see the photo albums documenting the development too! All areas were perfectly clean and kitchen well stocked with everything you could need. Keith was so so welcoming, helped us sort out our plans for the evening and gave us a recommendation for our sunset hike. Would definitely recommend booking breakfast on the train carriage deck too, really lovely experience and delicious fruit! Can't fault our time at the ecolodge at all and we'll DEFINITELY be back!

Amazing place to stay, relaxing, having breakfast with birds singing around, out of city noise. Just beautiful. Definitely I will going back in my next holidays. Recommend to everyone who wants to visit Queensland or Sunshine Coast close to Australia Zoo

I stayed in the Church with my friend. I wasn't disappointed. It is a very nice place, quite homely. The area around the Ecolodge is peaceful. Very green. And Keith is very friendly and knowledgeable. Not having a television or a clock was a bonus. I would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay here! Beautiful accommodation set amongst lovely gardens. Keith was very accommodating and helpful. The ecolodge is in a great location near the Glass House mountains national park. Wish we could have stayed longer!
