Sentido Hotel Marea - All Inclusive

And this year I chose Hotel Sentido Marea for my holiday. I really like it here. It's clean everywhere. The room is cleaned regularly and the towels are changed daily. The food is delicious, fresh and well served. I got the impression that the chef Rosen is interested in whether the guests are satisfied with the food. He provides help and assistance in choosing one. All the staff are smiling, positive and competent. There are umbrellas and sunbeds for everyone on the beach. It is cleaned regularly. There is daily interesting animation. I recommend this place and I will gladly visit it again!

Everything was excellent, at superlative @Sentido Marea! Very very good and varied cuisine! The staff is very nice and kind! We really enjoyed all the facilities of this hotel! The mini Aqua Park is great for kids! We will be back here very soon!

Came back for long weekend after we were here last summer. Weather was a bit cooler but we still had a great time. My daughter loved kids club and special thanks to Erhi who managed to entertain kids all the time. We used indoor pool as outside pool was cold. As it was not busy, we had a pool just for ourself. Food was great and loads of different variety. We will be back again!

The location is very good, close to the beach. The hotel was not crowded and I had easy access, without queues, to all the facilities. The food was varied and good. The children had pleasant activities. The staff is very kind. We will come back with pleasure next summer.

We booked directly with Grifid rather than through a tour operator. This gave use transfers included and access to the al carte dinning plan. The room was spacious and clean. Mini bar was refreshed daily. I would recommend paying for the sea view but request a high floor. I must have said every day how much I loved the carpet. The pool and beach area was kept tidy. The beach to the sea is quite steep. It was quite choppy the whole time we were there. I don't know if this is normal. The bars have a good selection of branded and local drinks. Good selection of cocktails and spritz's that I worked my way through. I would recommend the apple spritz. There was a good selection of food, however I am a fussy eater so it wasn't always to my taste. The quality was good and I always left with a full belly. I would point out through that they don't replenish everything towards the end of the timings so if you see a dessert you want, pick it up. Also when they did replace dishes, it wasn't with the same food so some of the labels were wrong. One thing I liked is they gave you a card to reserve your table whilst you were at the buffet. Great Idea. We tried 3 of the al carte restaurants. These have to be prebooked with guest services who can share the menu also. The in house Bulgarian. I was pleasantly surprised. Who know there was such a thing as Bulgarian Moussaka. The Italian next door in Encanto was my favourite. The best lasagne I have ever had. we booked in for a second visit and had to be rolled out. The Mediterranean next door in Moko Beach was not to my taste but my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed double portions of mussels. Location wise, you can walk on the ***** to the main area of Golden Sands which has shops, bars and restaurants. We only did this in the evening after dinner. I wanted to give a massive mention to the staff at SENTIDO Marea. Every member of staff was welcoming and helpful. Katya (?) on Guest Services was very helpful and a fountain of knowledge. Kris(?) on the bar was lovely to talk to and made great drinks. I will also mentioned that we felt like we were the only english in the hotel. Apparently this is typical. Not a problem at all but that might not be to some peoples taste. I would recommend a visit and I am torn between rebooking or trying one of their sister hotels.

I booked a room with a sea view in September 2023. It was a perfect stay, clean and big room, good food for all tastes, beach bar with discretionary drinks and very well trained staff. We will definitely return to the Grifid hotel chain. thank you!

The + • Nice and clean hotel • The outdoor pool is very nice and deep; water was warm during out stay a(Aug 25-Sep 5); starting at noon an area of the pool is in the shade which was very nice as we had a 3 months old who needed to remain in the shade • Kids pool with slides for young toddlers is great and lots of fun; located right by the beach. Only downside here is that there are very few lounge chairs and very few in the shade. • The indoor pool is nice as well (and very deep) • Pools were cleaned daily in the mornings • The beach area is very nice and spacious • Bottled water, sodas and beers provided daily in mini bar part of all inclusive • There is a nice boardwalk with little shops and games for kids. Further down the boardwalk is a hotel with ******, night clubs and bars if that is what you are looking for. • Lifeguard at the beach is vigilant and was very alert when heavy waves were happening, and he was telling people to stay by the shore (some days the sea was very calm). • Family room with sea view was nice and big for the 5 of us; nothing upscale but comfortable. The sea view was amazing - a must to enjoy while kids were napping • Main double beds are comfortable • Nice bar areas in the hotel to hang out • The entertainment schedule was active and lots of fun • Mini disco every night was great • The concierge lady was extremely nice • The two men running the entertainment team were absolutely great and amazing The - • Food Poisoning: our entire family was hit by food poisoning taking away precious days from our vacation, and we had only eaten at the property; there are other reviews on TripAdvisor advising of food poisoning at Grifid properties so we are not the only ones. We have traveled many times to all inclusives resorts in Europe and Northern Africa and we have NEVER gotten sick. Considering the other traveler’s reviews on this topic, and the fact that we were served undercooked food at the property, we believe we got this from the hotel restaurant. • Putting food poisoning aside, the hot meals “tasted” good and we ate them until we got sick; very nice salad bar • Deserts are very low quality and tasted “fake.” We did not have any our entire stay. Only 1 yogurt type available for desert. For breakfast the yogurt choices are also very limited or too sweet • Our first week we noticed most customers were Romanians and it was VERY obvious that they paid a must lower rate for the same hotel & service. • The room door could not be locked from the inside (we had a family suite). Since the babies were sleeping in the separated room that was by the entrance door, at night we had to block the door with heavy suitcases and other objects as we were afraid that anyone with a key could get into the room while we were sleeping. • Other than the boardwalk there is nothing much to do around the area with young kids; so days are just about going to the pool and beach (our kids were too young for mini club) • Taxi rate are preset

We are in this hotel for the second time. We loved it. Everything is super, from food to the rooms and staff. Kids club is cool. You will always find free sunbeds on the beach. The hotel is always clean and fresh. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Perfect experience for the second time in this hotel. So we will come back again.

We’re about to head home after a pleasant week at Sentido Marea. This was our first time here. Overall we are very satisfied with our stay. A relaxing all inclusive week without any need to plan or research restaurants etc. We were warmly welcomed at arrival, both from the reception staff and the service ambassador in the lobby. I am not good with remembering names, but you know who you are. As we arrived early our room was’nt ready but we were promtly called on the phone when it was. Our room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view to the ocean. Towels were changed everyday even when we were given the option to hang them up on the rack to keep them for one more day. I would somehow wish that the door/windows to the balcony was somewhat better soundproofed. This was noted one night when the waves was a bit noisier than usual. One night we lost an item under the bed. And upon searching for it we also found it very dirty and dusty under the bed. How often does the cleaning personel vacum under the beds? I also would appriciate more charging points or power outlets next to the bed. The food offering in the buffet restaurant was varied and contained a lot of options and we found some favorites. However we think the lunch offering was pretty much the same as the dinner. At the lunch we missed the different spreads like salami, ham and cheese etc. We enjoyed our dining experience in the Enoteca and the Italian restaurant at Encanto. But the food and the service at Enoteca was remarkably good. My favorite restaurant visit so far this year. We enjoyed our time both at the pool and on the beach. We’re non-smokers and wished there would be designated areas for smoking in the pool area and on the beach. This applies also to the seating area outside the bar on the 1st Floor. On departure day we had to leave the room by 11h. As our flight departed late in the evening we hoped there would be an option to keep the room for a couple of more hours but that was not possible. The shower facilities in the spa area provided instead was a bit too small with many persons wanting to shower at the same time. Other than that we’re glad we could spend the whole day before leaving doing what we’re done the whole week. Relaxing poolside and eating in the restaurant. Thank you for a pleasant week.
