This was our first trip to Cappadocia and Osman Bey was a great little find. It is a small, quite clean, few frills, 10 room hotel managed and well run by Kadir and his family. They are all so friendly (even the hotel pup, Pablo) and helpful. The room was nice, with a cave like atmosphere...Osman Bey is not truly a cave hotel, but is built in that style. We expected a queen room, but because of a booking glitch received a room with two singles. Kadir would gladly have switched it, but the hotel was fully booked. Not a real issue for us. The bath and shower were on the small side, but more than adequate to meet our needs. I will also note that there were some tricky, nearly invisible steps leading our of the courtyard and into the room. It would be a great improvement just to mark these step with a different color tape or reflective strip to prevent the tripping that occurred numerous times on our visit. My only negative (it's not really negative, just an observation)...there is only Turkish television available. I acknowledge this is truly a ”first world” suggestion, but it would be nice, if amongst the gadzillion channels available on the cable TV, at least one could be in English, so you can get news from home. The hotel is in the heart of the city and conveniently within walking distance to everything. Breakfast was included and was a typical Turkish breakfast fare of eggs, meat cheeses, olives salads, fresh fruit, bread and buns, fresh squeezed juices, milk, water and of course Turkish tea and coffee. The breakfast was deliciously prepared by solely by one woman, who greeted us with a welcome and smile every morning at 8:30 am. On our last morning, our departure time was before breakfast began, so Kadir graciously arranged for breakfast to start 45 minutes earlier just for us. The hotel has a symbiotic relationship with Angelo's Travel right next door. Kadir was just amazing with all the concierge work he did for us before and after our arrival. He arranged everything ( private car and guide day tour, hot air ballooning, horseback riding, and a trip to the Salt Lake. Ilkay was our tour guide for our day trip of the valleys, open air museums, and fairy chimneys. She was very knowledgeable, personable, and her English excellent. The only recommendation on this tour would be, if you're having lunch, skip the restaurant buffet, even though it's fast, it is quite pricey for the value and quality. Our driver, Osman, was such a gentleman. His experience as a Turkish Police Officer, traffic division, was well represented in his driving skill and attention to our comfort and safety. He was also the driver for our trip to the Salt Lake and made our time there so much fun when he doubled as our photographer and had us shooting hilarious photos and videos. The only disclaimer about the Salt Lake trip, is be prepared to get dirty. Only in the summer is the lake a dry pink salt flat. In the Spring, the salt is only present a few me

friend recommended this hotel so i booked here for 1 night. Yilmaz was really kindful and could speak a little bit of korean! other staffs are also very helpful so i could book tours from here. Also i booked hot air balloon tour from when i couldn't find anywhere else! (that day was fully booked and hard to find a slot at the day before 5pm). Because Yasar helped me for an hour to book. Room was amazing, much bigger than I expected, gorgeous and comfortable bed, clean restroom! one thing I want to request, i wish to have shelf in a shower booth! I stayed at the hotel in early June 2023. I would like to highlight both the advantages and disadvantages. Advantages: 1. Friendly and responsive staff who can solve your problem without unnecessary explanations. 2. Comfortable rooms with convenient furniture. 3. Spacious toilet and bathroom. 4. Stable internet connection. 5. Incredibly delicious breakfasts. 6. Magnificent photo zone on the rooftop for morning photography with air balloons. Disadvantages: 1. There might be a smell of dampness in the rooms. I encountered one such room. The administrator resolved this issue by relocating me to another room where the smell was much less noticeable. 2. Limited seating on the terrace for breakfast. Local features that are not related to the hotel itself but should be noted: 1. The door of our room opened onto the street. You will hear people passing by. 2. There is a mosque located 50 meters from the hotel, which can be heard very well, including during the early morning hours (3-4 am). Overall, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. I recommend it to those who are not bothered by waking up to the sound of the mosque singing in the early morning hours.

We liked the hotel very much. We had a minor inconvenience, they refused to compensate. In a central location. The architecture is very beautiful. The rooms are tastefully decorated. The accessories, rugs, chairs and pouffes in the room were very beautiful. Cleaning was very good. There is Haruna restaurant inside. Breakfast is served there. It can be enriched. There is no indoor access to the pool and sauna section. You enter from outside the hotel. The pool is small but the atmosphere is incredible. It's like inside a cave. The view of the terraces is right against the balloons.

I stayed with my husband at this hotel from June 5 to June 7. Location in the heart of Gereme. We chose the şırahane room - the room in the cave with jacuzzi. The conditions were wonderful - furniture, clean towels, authentic style, everything connected together. We ordered wine from the local brand at a great price. It can enjoy the jacuzzi in full. The hotel has a magnificent decorated terrace with which the chic view of the balls is opened! On the terrace is covered with breakfast, taste and components of which are superb. A huge choice of fresh food, everything is very delicious.for that thanks to the woman who is the kitchen manager, unfortunately, have not asked her name. Very welcoming, pleasant and deliciously cooking 😀 I would like to tell the staff of the respiratory Dilber khan and Salim beat for the attention shown. The most wonderful people answering any questions. Only positive emotions remain. All recommend this hotel!
