I am a highly critical reviewer but this hotel exceeded all my expectations. We arrived super late 1.30am as the coach driver got lost for a few hours lapping around Antalya. But once we finally arrived were greeted at reception by a lovely young man. He was concerned where we had been, and for our welfare as we should have arrived hours before. He reassured us not to worry, there is food till 2am and drinks 24hrs. Took us to our room 322 which to start with I was a little upset over the view as I had paid for sea view upgrade to find 1 of the 2 balconies we had looked over the kitchen cooling fans and loading docks for food deliveries. But the main balcony helped a little, not a clear seaview we expected but also not bad as you could have been. You could see the sea if your looked right through the trees. The food is mind blowing tasty with lots of choice to cater for anyone. Both the Aquis restaurant and buffet were fabulous. We ate at the a’ la carte once but in all honesty whilst again the main I ordered which was steak was tasty, but the portion of everything on the plate was child sized. And the tiramisu pudding was a stale biscuit and nothing like a tiramisu I’ve ever eaten before. We left very hungry and had to eat at the late 12.30 buffet as we were starving and the main buffet was now closed. A huge shoutout to ‘Saban’ he’s the nicest, kindest attentive waiter I’ve ever experienced. He made sure all his guests were very taken care of and felt valued. He’s a credit to the hotel and one in a million! Non of the other waiters really stood out for us sadly, non of them seemed to care. There was a lovely lady called ‘Merv’ I think she was the night supervisor at the beach bar, as only ever saw her then. She couldn’t have been more lovely, always making sure guests had drinks and looked after. Thank you ‘Merv’ for your welcoming charm and making us truly happy during our stay. Our hotel cleaner made a lovely bed decoration as it was our 1st wedding anniversary. It would have been nice for the hotel to had done a little something at dinner maybe, as I had said to them it was our 1st wedding anniversary, but nice the cleaner did something cute for us. Just going back to the room (322) our room you weren’t allowed to flush used toilet paper according to the sign. My husband had to use the public toilets everyday instead, as it was something he hated to place used loo paper in a bin. This is the first hotel I’ve ever encounter this, so be a little warned in case your room is the same. Not sure if this applied to all room? Don’t worry over the sunbeds there is no issue getting one. We got one everyday and choice of areas. Drinks were good, cocktails rather weak but just drink more! lol We booked for a late check out as our coach wasn’t due till 7.25pm and checkout is 12. It cost us €70 until 6pm but well worth to have to have a day by the pool and then a more relaxed pack and shower before your trip home. There is so much I could write a
