De retour à M****ille après 12 j au club la pointe où nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire Nous étions une famille de 5 adultes et 2 enfants (13mois et 3ans) Nous avons tous été enchanté par ce club. Olivier chef de village, formidable, accessible et très présent ! Son équipe de GO au top entre autre Julien, Byron, Giovanni, Hadj,Luca, Juliette au mini club etc...et tous ceux dont je ne me rpl plus les prénoms mais tous formidables Un choix d activité innombrables que ce soit terrestre ou nautique, des spectacles de qualité. Une des meilleures table par la qualité et la diversité des buffets La soirée blanche Magique !!!! La gentillesse des mauriciens et tant d autres choses ... Tout était réuni pour que nous passions des vacances réussies et inoubliables Nous y retournerons avec un immense plaisir

The ClubMed holiday was absolutely amazing, the management and staff were very welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable! Shout out to Andrew our photographer was an amazing artist he took the most beautiful pictures to encapture the beauty and experience of this holiday! Absolutely breathtaking. I absolutely love the pics!! And to top it off he is amazing too!! The lady at the bar Anika(?) Created such a lovely experience and not to forget our towel art guy. So much to do, snorkling, sailing, dining, drinks and evening entertainment. Don't forget to support the guys selling some beautiful gifts to take home🫶. Definitely a good holiday experience! Money well spent.

We arrived at Canonniers on the 23rd of March as a group of 8, two families with kids aged 9 to 12. We were personally greeted by the GM Oliver and team which was so special. Every moment of our 7 night stay was absolutely amazing and precious. From the rooms, to the cleanliness, to the amazing views, the endless activities, the entertainment, the food and especially the staff we were left enthralled with our experience. I have to commend Ashvin, Afzal, Geeta, Farheena and Bapita for making our stay so special. The kids were felt safe to wonder the many activities and explore while us adults were able to enjoy the holiday and rest to our fullest. The evening shows were spectacular, and we had to force ourselves to go to bed each night. We were even treated to a special curry and roti on the last night which was thoroughly enjoyed. This is definitely a destination to be visited and well worth the adventure in Mauritius. Well done to the Club Med team, congrats on the world class service. We will back!

Excellent snorkeling instructor. Patient and good with the family. Very helpful and takes safety precautions for all ages. We had a lovely family experience. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed this experience. We were educated and shown many different sea creatures.

It was with high expectations that so set out, my last visit to Mauritius was close to perfect (different resort) for starters we were rushed off the transport 9:15 and told to eat and get done as the kitchen closes at 9:45. As a first time visitor it takes 10 minutes to navigate the different food stalls. Food was however one of the highlights of the stay. Cannot fault the resort for location and activities. But where they fell down hopelessly was on quality of beverages. You get the choice of 1 beer. Phoenix or Phoenix. Wine you get red, white or pink. The Rose was palatable the rest just plain awful. For spirits they reached the bottom of the barrel and then dug down a little bit. When you ask for Brandy you get something called spirit combination on the bottle, the ‘brandy’ has never seen a grape in its hopefully limited lifetime. I pretty much came to the conclusion that all the spirits are flavoured ethanol. Don’t ask for a ginger beer or ginger ale that does not exist! You can purchase wine of a wine list, but when a $7 bottle of South African wine costs around $40 that’s a tad rough. The aforementioned resort on my previous not a whole heap more expensive, offered 8 pages of different wines for full board patrons and whisky up to Johnny Walk black level. The bars also close at random hours. On the Monday of our arrival the bar closed at 11 pm there was a beach bar, but beer was out of the question. Other nights cocktails just stopped at midnight. Other lowlights were less than friendly bar staff and sometimes painfully slow bar service, I will however compliment them on the rooms and the food service they were great. WiFi works but do not expect lightning speeds. Good enough for browsing, email etc. Club Med you have definitely seen the last of our family!

It is a very nice resort and my kids are having a great time but I have to say that everything here and every activity is focused on French speaking people and the staff even comes across as annoyed if you are English speaking. We are currently still here but I feel almost too reluctant to do any activity with my kids because the staff is so very rude and unfriendly. The GO team staff is so sweet and friendly and made my kids feel very welcome but the staff at the water ski and snorkeling makes us feel so unwelcome and they are so rude my kids are now reluctant to join any activity. Some of the restaurant staff like at Alma restaurant is also very rude and unfriendly. Me and my kids just actually feel out of place and not welcome here. It is just really sad to have spent so much money to be here and then be treated so badly. My family and I won’t be coming back to Club Med.

We recently spent ten days as a family at Club Med La Pointe and had a wonderful time. The Chief of the village is a friendy, open soul and his energy carries down to his staff, there's a happy vibe from most of his staff. We picked up surliness from a few local staff members, a case of gratitude becomes attitude, I guess. We experienced balmy weather with the odd warm shower, this meant the temperature of the sea and the pools was perfect, we simply waded in and wallowed most days. There is still a strong French infuence at this resort, and it's delightful to experience different cultures and flavours. The food is plentiful and delicious, there is something for everyone, if you're a pizza and burger person, you won't be disappointed, for the more adventurous palate, there's Mauritian, French, and Fusian food aplenty. The bread and pastries are top class, it's an absolute treat on a daily basis. I found the pre dinner snacks were bland and sub standard, they're unnecesary considering the fabulous fare on offer in the restaurant, we avoided them. We ate two evening meals at the beach restaurant, the food was excellent and the service, ambience, and live entertainment was excellent. The amenities are well run and maintained, there is something for everyone, boredom is never an option, but quietly reading or dozing at the zen pool is on offer for those less energetic. The bedrooms are clean and comfy, we had an issue with our cleaner who sometimes didn't clean our room till after lunch, but I guess in a hotel this size she works on a rotation basis. We enjoyed every moment and we'll certainly be back, the perfect place for a family of all ages to relax and enjoy themselves, merci Club Med.

I never write reviews however i feel like i need to inform anyone wanting to come here about a few issues. I didn't know what to expect when coming to Mauritius for the first time but it definitely wasn't this. I feel like this resort tries to cater for too many people, example is that they have baby club however have a DJ come on and play at 22:15 every night until early hours of the morning i.e. People who are wanting to use baby club are not going to want to have a DJ playing music at 2 in the morning. We have a 7 month old baby and we were placed close to the live entertainment and had a store room next to us which the cleaning staff kept coming to get things out of all morning and day which is not ideal. Pillows and towels were not great and the only place besides the buffet that has aircon is your room, so if you looking to relax somewhere and have a drink or read a book you are not going to be doing it for long as you are going to be looking to cool down somewhere. Bar staff seem very grumpy and there are no waitrons who come around offering to get you a drink, you will therefore need to get up and go to the bar everytime you need a refill, i know this sounds like i am being lazy but you want to relax on your holiday and not be sweating by the time you get back to your seat from getting a drink. I feel like room service or a shop where you could by a few essentials (not a clothing/souvenir shop) would go a long way in helping this resort. I think the resort needs to figure out their target market and advertise it as such.

using 2 communicating rooms with the kids, rooms were fine and well maintained by Sameer. We will miss some of the GO like Arman, Paula or Bassanio who were really nice people. concerning Sports, only minus is concerning reservation of some activites that are from one day to the other so when you are on a trip you cannot really book for 2 days and you miss some nice activites like snorkeling. food was really nice. the whole stay was really enjoyable. We would recomment to go there
