Ascott ICC Guangzhou

Great stay here and room was clean. Bed is comfy too. Just nice for 2 pax for the room I reserved. Television seems to be old as the resolution was quite bad and blurry (not a big issue as you'll unlikely use the TV) Getting to the hotel may be a little tricky as the entrance is behind the shopping mall. Thankfully there is a mini concierge staff who will guide travelers to the correct entrance. During my stay, the gym was under renovation so I did not have a chance to try it out, but I believe it will be nice and new once renovation is completed. Hence, gave 3 stars for amenities

The room is new and clean, with an electronic stove and no stove for cooking. Breakfast is on the 6th floor. It takes 250 metres to get there. The hotel breakfast is served by the small restaurant outside the 5th floor. There are only 4 hot dishes, which are very simple, and there is only one choice for coffee. And the plate used is an iron plate like normaly in street shop. It does not belong to an international brand hotel, and it seems to be slandered by advertisements.

Very convenient central location! Smooth check in and check out service! Parad at the front desk was super helpful and understanding! Hotel is connected to the ICC mall which has a lot of good restaurants

Ascott was recommended by a friend, everything went smoothly and it was a pleasant stay. Asked Nick for possible later check-out on departure day and he was extremely accommodating. Would consider staying again next time in GZ.

The service and location were good. the staff were helpful. The gym was under maintenance unfortunately so we could not use it. The check in location was on the 6th floor so we had to make our way to the 6th floor for check in. The DiDi pickup was a bit tricky as the GPS could require us to go to the mall instead of the hotel but we realised on the last day that there was an option in DiDi to specify the lobby as the pick up point.
