The front desk service was alright. The soundproof door in the room was very well designed, making it extremely quiet, which I really appreciated. The temperature was also comfortable. However, in the past few days, I've woken up with over a dozen red bites on my body, mostly on my thighs and ankles. They were itchy in the morning, but even more unbearable after being exposed to the sun outside. It's highly likely they were flea or scabies bites. Even after asking for a change of bedding, it didn't help, and I kept getting more bites. It must be an issue with the mattress; they should at least do a steam pest control. My friend in another room didn't have any problems though. The cleaning lady was also good; she proactively called to ask when it would be convenient to clean, and she replenished the mineral water with four bottles at a time.

We booked a triple room, and all the amenities were provided for three people. When we needed more water, the front desk generously gave us three bottles at once.
Although the hotel has been open for a while, it's been upgraded with smart features like electric curtains and a heated toilet. There are also plenty of power outlets. The bath towels and regular towels were individually sealed and felt quite thick.
The hotel is just a five-minute walk from Nanning Station, making it super convenient for dining and getting around. It's perfect for anyone who needs to catch an early train or arrives late.

The lobby on a high floor offers panoramic city views through its floor-to-ceiling windows. It's incredibly romantic to enjoy a bath while gazing at the city lights.
The service is meticulous, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast includes local specialties like Laoyou noodles. The pool also boasts fantastic views.

Guest UserThis time, my bestie and I traveled to Nanning together and stayed at the Wanda Vista Nanning. The experience was absolutely fantastic, and I truly recommend it to friends traveling in groups!
The location is amazing, right in the Qingxiu Wanda business district. The mall is just outside, offering a one-stop shop for food, drink, and entertainment. You don't have to go far to find something to eat, and it's a short taxi ride to Nanhu Lake and Nanning East Station, making getting around very convenient. The lobby decoration is stylish and perfect for photos. Check-in was quick, and the staff were responsive.
We stayed in a twin room, which was spacious with excellent natural light and floor-to-ceiling windows offering city views. The bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was effective – even when we chatted and laughed at night, it remained quiet and undisturbed. The bathroom was clean and had a bathtub, perfect for soaking away the fatigue after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast had a wide selection, and we were pleasantly surprised to find Nanning's specialty Laoyou noodles. In our free time, my friends and I spent time at the heated pool and gym, which was a great experience. It's perfect for shopping, exploring, and sightseeing. For friends traveling together, the comfort and convenience here are both top-notch. When visiting Nanning, you can confidently choose this hotel.

Anonymous UserAn excellent stay that exceeded my expectations! I was so lucky to get a room upgrade during the National Day holiday.
The room facilities are very new, and the high-floor view is absolutely stunning, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city's nightscape and distant mountain views during the day. MixC shopping mall is right downstairs, making it super convenient for getting around. Supervisor Xiao Wei's service was impeccable; he helped with my luggage while showing me to the room and introduced all the facilities. It was a delightful experience, and Shangri-La Nanning will be my first choice next time I visit Nanning.

NanfengzhiwoyiThis is a newly opened hotel. The parking garage is on B3, and you take the elevator to the first floor. The lobby feels quite empty and lacks a lively atmosphere. It was my first time seeing a front desk manager in a hotel lobby using an electric fan – it seems the hotel's design didn't account for aesthetics or air conditioning effectiveness. The room facilities are average, similar to what you'd find at a Grand Mercure, and I even feel that Grand Mercure or Atour hotels have better mattresses and overall management. The only upside is probably the breakfast, and that's a bit of a stretch. In the noodle bar area, the two chefs seemed to be bickering, which suggests the hotel's management level is rather subpar.

Anonymous UserComing back from Wuzhou and transiting through Nanning, I decided to stay for a night due to the weather, which also gave me a chance to get a feel for Nanning, learn about the Yongjiang River, understand Guangxi, and experience the 'Eight-Guangxi' culture that I had only read about in textbooks. I also took the opportunity to visit the Zhuang Autonomous Region Museum. The hotel is an older one; the facilities are decent, but the breakfast could be better.

Guest UserI had a very satisfying stay here. The overall environment was comfortable and quiet. The room hygiene was impeccable; the floors, tables, and bathroom were all spotless with no hidden dirty spots. The hotel facilities were excellent, with high-speed and stable internet, and all the necessary amenities. The hot water came out quickly and at the perfect temperature, which was great for relieving travel fatigue. The staff were polite and always ready to answer any questions. Located in the heart of Chaoyang, it's very convenient for getting around. There were also many thoughtful value-added services, including complimentary free-flow drinks. The hotel even has a laundry room and a gym, which is super convenient for travelers. Highly recommend!

Guest UserWe spent awhile here as were securing Vietnam visas. This is hotel is far from the embassy. On the other hand,it was convenient for the public transport, but not the subway. The front desk had no clue about whether trains to Vietnam from Nanning are possible. They are and we took trains first to Hanoi and later to Mui Ne.The front desk all over Vietnam was full of good advice and could speak English well enough. As for China, they wanted to help, but didnt have the answers and once I could see them tapping away at their phones I knew they would most likely find the same lack of information I found on line. The train at Nanning leaves at 6PM for Hanoi. A special machine exists that prints out a card in five languages with carbon copies that tear away at each juncture of the trip. This will be a bad night's sleep as they rouse passengers late at night to stamp out of China and later into Vietnam. Upon arrival in Hanoi you'll probably need a taxi, but at 6:30am the only ones prey on tourists st the train station. Most people stay around the Old Quarter and it's a well provisioned sort of place with a giant lake at the center. Getting to the train station here required me to get a motorcycle, but wasnt far. It was easy to buy onward tickets and we enjoyed the food and people watching around the lake. Hanoi is sweater weather in January, but once you hit southeastern Vietnam the weather is hot and humid with refreshing sea breezes along the coast.

I recently stayed at Sanzan Hotel, located near Jinhu Square Metro Station in Nanning, and had an overall pleasant experience. Here’s a breakdown of my stay:
Location:
The hotel’s location is fantastic, especially for travelers looking to explore the city. It’s just a short walk from Jinhu Square Metro Station, making it very easy to get around Nanning and access popular attractions. There are also plenty of shops, restaurants, and local markets in the surrounding area, which is incredibly convenient.
Check-in & Service:
The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff were friendly and spoke enough English to assist with any queries. They were always ready to offer directions or help with taxi arrangements, which made the stay even more hassle-free.
Room:
The room I stayed in was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was soft, and the pillows were just right for a good night’s sleep. The room was equipped with all the usual amenities like a flat-screen TV, minibar, free Wi-Fi, and an air conditioning unit that worked perfectly. The bathroom was spacious, with a good shower and all the necessary toiletries provided.
Facilities:
The hotel has a small but functional fitness center, which I used a couple of times during my stay. While it’s not a massive gym, it has enough equipment for a decent workout. There’s also a restaurant on-site, which serves a variety of Chinese dishes. The breakfast buffet was simple but tasty, offering a mix of local and continental options.
Value for Money:
Given its central location and the comfort of the facilities, Sanzan Hotel offers excellent value for money. The price is very reasonable, especially for a hotel that is so conveniently situated near a metro station.
