Hotels in Yanguan Tourist Resort, Haining

The room was spacious with a large bathtub. I forgot to bring a disposable liner for the tub, but the hotel provided one and even helped set it up. My two kids had a blast bathing in it. The hotel is right next to the service center, and there's a small door that leads directly to the Gongzhen Gate, which is very convenient. The facilities are also very new. I highly recommend this scenic area. We missed some performances, which is a bit of a shame, but we'll definitely come back again.

Choosing to stay at the Qianjiang Junting Hotel for this trip was an excellent decision! First off, the location is superb, right by the Qiantang River, so we could see the Qiantang River Tidal Bore right from our room's balcony – incredibly convenient. Secondly, the hotel facilities are comprehensive. Even though it's been open for over a decade, the hotel is exceptionally well-maintained and still looks grand and luxurious. Furthermore, both the cleanliness and service were outstanding; the hotel, inside and out, was spotless. The staff were highly professional and provided thoughtful, attentive service, making us feel right at home. All in all, our stay at the Qianjiang Junting Hotel was very pleasant and satisfying. A big thank you to all the front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping staff who assisted us!

From a hardware perspective, the hotel clearly invested a lot, but staying during a holiday that coincided with the Mid-Autumn Festival and the tide-watching spectacle brought numerous issues to a head: 1. **Location**: Indeed, for tide-watching, the hotel's back exit leads directly to Tide-Viewing Platform No. 8. However, for a better viewing experience, you need to walk at least 15-20 minutes from Platform No. 8. Beyond tide-watching, getting anywhere else requires a shuttle bus. To reach the ancient town scenic area, you need to take a shuttle to the tourist service center (which is also where you board the shuttle to the hotel). If you happen to be leaving right after a tide-watching event or during peak check-out, expect long waits for the shuttle. (And no, hotel guests don't get any special privileges; they wait in the same line as other tide-watchers). 2. **Service**: I can't speak for regular days, but the service during this holiday was nothing short of disastrous. During check-in, the front desk attendant was quite 'innocent-looking' and seemed to know very little when asked anything (many hotel staff members couldn't answer basic questions). After getting my room card, I dragged my luggage to the room door only to find the card wouldn't work. I bumped into a cleaning lady who just used her walkie-talkie to tell the front desk that the card wasn't working, explaining that it was due to a 'system delay' because of a 'stay extension' (even though I had just arrived with my luggage). After much back-and-forth, it still didn't work. I asked the cleaning lady if she could help swipe us in so my elderly parents and children could enter, but she replied that she couldn't verify our identity and therefore couldn't open the door. 👍 This whole ordeal took at least 20 minutes, if not half an hour. 3. **Package Redemption**: My friend and I booked through Trip.com, and my room type was even slightly higher than theirs, yet I missed out on some perks. For instance, before the tide-watching, rooms were supposed to receive a tide-watching package (small backpack, fan, etc.). I didn't get mine. The next day, when I asked a staff member, they actually said it was part of a package and that if I had it, it would have been delivered to the room. Only after I showed them my booking on my phone did they confirm I should have received it. When I went to get a fan, they said there were no new ones left and gave me a used, marked-up one. With the heat, I had no choice but to take it. Overall, the initial investment in the hotel's infrastructure was clearly significant, but based on the current maintenance and service, I feel it will quickly be squandered. My likelihood of returning for a repeat stay is very low.

This is the most cost-effective homestay we have ever stayed in. The largest guest room is a three-bedroom and two-bathroom family suite. It is as warm and comfortable as home. The bedding is clean and tidy. The family lives in a super comfortable place! There is also a projector to watch movies, great value! As I generally love beauty and love life, of course, 100% recommend it to my relatives and friends. In the future, I will bring my girlfriends to the team and bring my baby to watch the tide and live in his house!

Visited Haining for the May Day tide-watching festival, and this hotel came highly recommended by a friend. The room was very spacious with a separate wet and dry area, and I especially loved that the bed's firmness could be adjusted to my preference. The housekeeping butler contacted us a day in advance, providing details about the parking garage, tide-watching schedule, and weather forecast, and was always ready to answer any questions. The electric cart service for transfers was very convenient. We had dinner at the hotel, and the ambiance was lovely; the braised pork was particularly delicious. However, one female front desk staff member had a stiff attitude and was inflexible in handling a simple matter, making it overly complicated. Throughout our two-day stay, we experienced warm and excellent service from the lobby manager, the greeter/bellhop, and the housekeeping staff.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the scenic area, with easy access and a dedicated passageway for guests. The rooms are new, clean, and the soundproofing is acceptable at night. The hotel staff at the front desk are very welcoming and will help greet guests and show them to their rooms. Dining: There aren't many restaurants nearby besides those within the scenic area, and ordering takeout often results in long wait times. Other: I suggest the hotel adjust the phone holder in the bathroom; phones tend to slide down when placed on it. 😅

跟朋友為了玩潮樂之爭來潮樂之城，選擇了高性價比的音樂夢想家，整體的住宿環境非常舒適，房間沒有異味，衞生間淋浴間也乾淨整潔，床上用品很乾凈，配套的洗漱用品和吹風機一應俱全，相應的服務和配套都遠遠超出預期～ 潮樂之城很推薦潮樂之爭，npc很敬業，體驗感拉滿，有個燒製玻璃的體驗，也很推薦，可以做些小物件、胸針什麼的，水上的背包船也很推薦，適合夏天清涼解暑，河道周圍有樹蔭，也不會太熱，總體下來除了點外賣不太方便之外都很推薦！！

The overall is still very good, there is a chance to chase the tide again!
