Hotels in Yanguan Tourist Resort, Haining

Stayed during the holiday period. Arrived at 1:30 PM, and my original room wasn't ready. They kindly upgraded me for free to a family room on the 7th floor, which had a great view and was very spacious. The hotel's 3rd-floor terrace offers a view of the tidal bore, but unfortunately, the tide wasn't very strong during my stay – almost non-existent – so I ended up exploring the nearby Yan Guan Chaole City instead. There aren't many takeout options around the hotel; most are delivered by the merchants themselves. The hotel had a very high occupancy rate, and the breakfast area was extremely crowded, which wasn't a great experience.

The shop is easy to find along the street. The ”small courtyard” at the entrance, surrounded by flowers and plants, is very cozy. It's directly opposite the entrance to Guanchao Shengdi Park, offering free admission before 7:30 AM and after 5:30 PM. The proprietress and her family are very friendly and welcoming, and will inform you of any precautions. The interior of the room is reminiscent of an old-fashioned two-star hotel, but the sanitation is exceptional. The flowers and plants outside the window, along with the clothesline, create a homely and comfortable feeling. We stayed on the third floor, which doesn't have an elevator, but the proprietress offered to help us carry our suitcases upstairs, which was very much appreciated. I suggest the proprietress install a wind shield on the air conditioner, as it would otherwise blow directly onto the bed.

Even though everything is new, it felt better than expected! The main thing is that we didn't have any bad meals during our three days in the scenic area – the food was good, and the prices weren't high, which was a pleasant surprise! The tidal bore show in front of the visitor center plays for 10 minutes every hour on the hour, and it's free to watch. Before we checked in, the hotel added me on WeChat and provided check-in instructions, navigation, and parking information. Since I didn't want to get stuck in traffic during the holiday, I took the subway and then the Hanghai Intercity line. After getting off at Yanguan station, I didn't want to wait for the shuttle bus, so I took a taxi. It took about an hour and a half from the city center to the scenic area, and the journey was quite smooth. A big thank you to the front desk staff, Xiao Meng and Xiao Xiu, for all the information they provided during our stay. Both the daytime and nighttime views are great, with plenty of places to explore and eat – though it does make your legs tired. The shuttle bus is free for hotel guests, but it takes a roundabout route. Unless you're going to watch the tide at the Tidal Bore Park, it's not really necessary for non-guests. Tidal Bore Park requires a separate ticket; you'll regret it if you don't see the bore, and you might regret it if you do – it's mainly about experiencing it since you're already here. Be sure to protect yourself from heatstroke and sunburn when watching the tide! All the activities are music-related, with循环 performances. You can check the schedule via the WeChat mini-program. The scenic area map is a bit abstract, though; the locations of the shows are basically impossible to find directly on the map. You either have to ask someone or try to figure out the connections to find them. Don't rely on the routes shown on the map; just use it for general direction. If you want to go somewhere, walk in the general direction, and you can cut through small paths and buildings – as long as there's a path, you can go. Walking in and out of the Xuande Gate Hotel, the small side gate is the most convenient. Currently, only the indoor pool is open. I also took a stroll to the Main Singer Hotel on the other end; it has a different style, so it might be nice to try staying there for a day.

Facilities: This price is OK, the price is very high, the key next door is the scenic spot is very convenient, parking is also very convenient! Hygienic: clean and tidy Service: The boss family is very good, very polite, the boss also upgraded the room for us for free, introduced the tide! ❤️ The tide in the scenic spot next door is a front-line tide. It is very small. I found a tide chaser by car and took me for 200. Master Zheng, a tide chaser, is very responsible. There are many tide chasers there. I found the store for the safety and quality. I felt a bit expensive before I went. After I went, I felt that it was worth the money! ❤️ I went to two stores for dinner nearby: one is Qiantang Fish Village. I personally think that the taste is generally not very good. There is a tofu fish called Fish Baxian. There is a tofu fish in it. Don't eat it if you don't like it! The second is Chaoshan Hotel. The taste is better than the first. The price is basically a few dollars cheaper per dish!

I'd been looking forward to my trip to Yanguan for ages, but I was hesitant about booking a hotel, worried that a bad choice would spoil my trip. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's excellent environment—clean and tidy. The staff were incredibly welcoming, clearly explaining the hotel and the time we would be watching the tidal bore. They even upgraded us to the hotel's top suite, which was a wonderful surprise. It was probably the hotel's good fortune that allowed us to witness the tidal bore even when we might not have seen it. All of this was thanks to the hotel's comfort and the good luck we had. I hope to stay here again next time and enjoy everything the hotel has to offer. Thank you so much!

This truly is the top hotel among the four in the scenic area, the largest and most magnificent! Upon entering the room, I found the layout a bit strange. You open the door directly into the bedroom with two large beds, and then you walk further in to find the living room. The living room doesn't have an air conditioning vent, so if we're sleeping and close the partition door, anyone in the living room would get very stuffy. So, the layout design isn't very reasonable. A key point is that while there are many suites, most of them have bunk beds. For family trips, people don't just bring children, they might also bring elderly family members, so bunk beds aren't very convenient. The bathroom, on the other hand, is quite spacious and has a double vanity, which is very convenient. The hotel breakfast was quite generous, and the dining area was very large. Since the weather was hot, we stayed in the hotel and enjoyed concerts throughout the day. We could hear at least two to three different concerts a day, never repeating. This place is definitely perfect for those who want to relax and do nothing on vacation. The shuttle bus stop is right in front of the hotel, and there are plenty of buses, so no waiting is needed. Getting in and out is very convenient. The staff were also very warm and attentive, always ready to answer any questions.

During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, we took the kids to Yanguan to see the Qiantang River tidal bore. We chose this Haishi Hotel based on reviews, and it was a wonderful surprise! The hotel rooms were spacious, with balconies, exquisitely decorated, and the service was excellent! Located right at the entrance of the ancient city scenic area, hotel guests can enter and exit the area multiple times using facial recognition, or take a shuttle bus – very convenient! There's a restaurant called Guchengmen Restaurant downstairs; the reviews suggested the food was good, but it was too crowded, so we ate out instead. We'll try it again next time!

Facilities: Excellent hardware, clean and tidy. Although located outside the scenic area, access is very convenient, offering a tranquil retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. Cleanliness: Very clean, a safe stay. Environment: Located in the North Gate Market, overlooking the ancient waterside street. Service: From check-in to check-out, including luggage storage, every receptionist was warm and attentive. The welcome fruit we received upon check-in was fresh, not something that had been sitting in the room for ages, which was a nice touch. Overall, my whole family enjoyed the slower pace of the hotel and would definitely go back.

This is the most cost-effective homestay we have ever stayed in. The largest guest room is a three-bedroom and two-bathroom family suite. It is as warm and comfortable as home. The bedding is clean and tidy. The family lives in a super comfortable place! There is also a projector to watch movies, great value! As I generally love beauty and love life, of course, 100% recommend it to my relatives and friends. In the future, I will bring my girlfriends to the team and bring my baby to watch the tide and live in his house!

This hotel is located within the ancient city, very close to the tourist service center, right in the heart of the North District. It's incredibly convenient for dining, entertainment, and taking boat rides. If you want to go to the South District, the sightseeing bus stop is right near the hotel, and you can ride for free with your room card. The hotel facilities are relatively new, clean, tidy, quiet, and comfortable. Both the butler and front desk service are excellent, always responsive, attentive, and thorough. The breakfast provided by the hotel is from a Cantonese restaurant within the scenic area. Besides set menus, you can also choose à la carte items, offering fantastic value for money.
