Hangzhou Xihu District 5-star Hotels

We only stayed here for one night but there were many aspects that really wowed us about this hotel. The location of this hotel to the west lake is only a 20 min walk or a brief 10 min bike ride. Definitely go by bike, there’s good bike lanes all along the way. The breakfast at this hotel really blew us away. A ton of freshly made (literally in front of you) and high quality food with a lot of choices. They recently opened a bar and they had live music at night. We got a complementary drink because it’s new and trying to attract new customers and it was tasty.

The scenery of Hangzhou in April is absolutely top-notch. How can you enjoy Hangzhou during the Qingming Festival? First of all, I made sure that I had to book a room in a scenic area. I could reach it by walking or riding a bike even if there was a huge traffic jam outside, so I chose the familiar Yaguquan Villa. The hotel itself has a very high greening rate. The key is that there is an ancient teahouse path in the hotel, and you can reach the beautiful turtle pond in Aohao Bay in 3 minutes (Figure 1-6). There is also good news. Hellobike can be ridden directly to the hotel bicycle parking area, which is a normal parking area. The hotel's software service is also very nice. When I checked in, there happened to be a Mr. Ji at the front desk who was enthusiastic and very skilled in business. He understood my request in seconds before I finished speaking. The communication was extremely smooth and he knew everything about the surrounding area of ​​the hotel. On the afternoon of my stay in the courtyard, the excavator was digging cables. Although it was promised that it would be closed before 2:30 pm, it still had a certain impact on my stay. After knowing this, Mr. Ji took the initiative to offer me a double set meal. Since I had ordered a meal out in the evening, it was replaced with breakfast for my son during my stay. In short, the crisis public relations ability is very strong, good reviews, and I will come again during the osmanthus season.

Arrived late after long flight from London via Beijing at hotel @10:00 pm, waited over 20 minutes to check-in. Bathroom sliding door was jammed and required great force to move it. Reported problem to hotel, the door was still difficult to operate after their fix. The location of hotel was great to access West Lake like Su Causeway and nearby attractions but will need taxis to travel to other attractions. We were amazed to find out on our last day of 4 nights stay , hand towels were left on floor of bathroom & tea leaves in toilet bowl. Note that Travel time is significantly longer due to congested traffic around the areas. Checkout was slow and Receptionist Supervisor was not very friendly.

Environment: The hotel is located in the West Lake Meilu Mansion. It is easy to find by taxi from the airport (the hotel has been renamed not long ago, and Didi's positioning has not changed to ”Regent Meilu”). The door of Langlizi Meilu is very eye-catching. The hotel is surrounded by mountains and is very quiet. It is very close to Songcheng, just opposite. You can walk or turn right on the street to scan the little red car to get to the ticket entrance. You can almost watch all the mainstream programs in half a day. Facilities: The overall facilities exceeded expectations. I heard that it was a member club hotel in the past, not open to the public, and many celebrities have stayed there. The room is very spacious, thanks to the lobby manager for upgrading us to a suite. The shower facilities are very good, the shower is GROHE, and the water pressure is a bit low. Service: The key point is to talk about the service management of the hotel. It seems that it is a bit behind. The service at the front desk is the most satisfactory throughout the whole process. The hotel has a total of 88 rooms. Cleaning is not complicated. There are very few five-star hotel rooms that do not fold clothes. More training is needed, and it is not a big problem. The biggest problem is breakfast (if you book a hotel without buying breakfast, you can avoid it). Was it outsourced to a small workshop? The ”richness” of breakfast is comparable to that of an economy hotel... two stir-fried dishes, two staple foods, two steamed dishes, and some pre-made fried sausages and eggs, etc. There are too few varieties. The bacon looks like artificial meat, and due to space limitations, you can't see the chef cooking on the spot. The room was full during the Qingming Festival, and the waiters were busy. There was no flow control or diversion measures for the large flow of people for breakfast, resulting in people either not having a seat or fighting for a seat (resort hotels at home and abroad have ways to deal with the situation of full breakfast rooms to ensure the dining experience of guests, learn from them), the aunties who cleared the tables and the uncles who served the dishes looked like breakfast stall employees, and they didn't have work clothes. I hope the above will be improved.

The family traveled together and were very satisfied with all aspects, good environment and good service, the photographer Xiaojie took good photos, the breakfast was good, the book room was good, and the lake view was good. This is a hotel that I will recommend and stay in next time!

It’s a perfect blend of scenic beauty, quality service, and unique offerings.

The hotel environment is very good, and the overall design is textured. I chose a king-size bed room, and I like the layout of the room. The sofa design on the windowsill allows me to meditate every day when I wake up. The toiletries are also good. Stayed for two days, my family loved it, especially the kids. They took photos in the tea garden, and the Lingyin Temple and West Lake nearby were also very close. When checking out, there was a little God of Wealth for free, which was very cute and had a good meaning. The special cakes in the room were also delicious, which was in line with the characteristics of the hotel's tea culture. The hotel's butler service was very nice. I would like to praise the butler Xiaodai for his timely care and proper resolution of any problems.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was exceptionally clean. The kids play area could be a little bigger and better marked, i couldn't find it and had to ask at the front desk. The breakfast was a standard Chinese breakfast, expected a bit more variety especially with this level of hotel. Overall, it was a great stay and the location was quite convenient
