We stayed in Building 1. The bathroom felt recently renovated and was quite new. The toiletries were Guerlain, and the toothpaste was Yunnan Baiyao – excellent! The mini-bar was free, but we didn't have time to drink anything. However, the complimentary fruit basket was fantastic, filled with seasonal fruits of high quality – thumbs up! The hotel breakfast leaned more towards Chinese style, with a wide variety of dim sum, congee, noodles, and whole grains. I noticed the coffee machine even listed the origin of the beans, which showed great attention to detail. I enjoyed a cup every day. We used the complimentary travel photography service provided by the hotel. The process was clear, the service was good, and it didn't disrupt our itinerary. I hadn't planned on spending any money, but the photos turned out great, and I loved how the makeup artist did my hair. So, I ended up buying a few photos, which I think was well worth it. I originally thought a state guesthouse might have service issues, but that wasn't the case at all. Everyone we encountered during our two-day stay was very friendly. I'd say the service was exceptionally good.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to West Lake with its own lakefront. It's a garden-style hotel with beautiful surroundings. The service is great; the staff are very service-oriented, greeting guests proactively. After an activity in the garden, I happened to catch a ride back on an electric cart with a hotel staff member. The room was also very clean.

We were assigned an older room in building 6 this time, and it was quite dated. We had our wedding here previously and stayed in a new room in building 6, which was a great experience. Next time, I'd like to try a lake view room in building 5. The breakfast has evolved again and is fantastic, better than most five-star hotels, only slightly behind Park Hyatt. The gardens at West Lake are truly timeless, with each season offering its own unique beauty.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, right within the West Lake scenic area, with exclusive access to nearly two kilometers of shoreline. The service is also excellent, highly recommended! 👍👍

I've stayed in many high-end hotels, but this one's room service details are by far the best. They even anticipate the different needs of rooms with adults and children, like providing laundry bags and other thoughtful touches in advance. Thumbs up! The hotel's external views and breakfast are also excellent and highly recommended.

I booked a 1099 RMB per night deal from a livestream, which included breakfast for two and a travel photoshoot. We were upgraded from Building 1 to Building 8, and the room was absolutely fantastic. Great value for money, definitely recommend it. The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel environment was superb, no complaints there. The only minor downsides were that the bedding wasn't very breathable and the mattress was a bit too soft, making it slightly uncomfortable.

This is a must-stay hotel when visiting Hangzhou. The hotel itself feels like an extension of West Lake, and it's so pleasant to stroll along the lakeside. The hotel's garden landscaping is also delightful. The breakfast is rich, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western options. The location is excellent; step out of the west gate and you're just a few steps from Su Causeway, making it convenient to get anywhere. The Chinese restaurant within the hotel also offers delicious dishes. The staff, both the handsome men and beautiful women, provide excellent, proactive, and thoughtful service. I will definitely choose Xizi Hotel again on my next visit to Hangzhou.

The room was clean and comfortable. This hotel used to be a state guesthouse, and it's located right by West Lake, offering a truly beautiful environment. Behind it is Leifeng Pagoda, and on a clear day, you can even see 'Leifeng Pagoda in the Sunset,' one of the Ten Scenes of West Lake. The butler was very thoughtful, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful, and they provided a shuttle service for the elderly to get around the gardens. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The Wangzhuang Hotel, once a symbol of China, is nestled at the foot of Leifeng Pagoda and is a renowned garden of West Lake. Although I only stayed one night this time, the activities were plentiful. I joined a guided tour, following the state guest route, and stayed in the Presidential Building (Building No. 1). After dinner, I enjoyed a very pleasant stroll by the lake! I have a small suggestion: if guests stay for several days, the cultural activities could be further enriched, perhaps by sharing more historical stories, offering guzheng appreciation, or providing boat tours of West Lake! The staff are all handsome men and beautiful women, a standard you'd expect from a state guesthouse, and it's quite something to work there. It was indeed a pleasure to the eyes.
