Fairfield by Marriott Hangzhou Wulin Square

On a long business trip in china FairField Wulin Square was a great option! Near by to metro, shopping, western restaurants and west lake. Breakfast had a mixture of chinese and american food which was great! Hotel rooms are very comfortable. Special thanks to 黄金 who helped me with all luggages, deliveries and room upgrade! Felt in my home away from home.

To tell the truth, I am very disappointed with my stay in this Marriott. When you pay sufficient amount of money for 1 night, you want not to care about any inconveniences. Unfortunately, the quality of cleaning when I checked in the room - was very poor, it was so roughly and negligently. I also was disappointed how noisy it was in the hotel, the soundproofing is just terrible. All night instead of sleeping I was hearing the noises of people around me and in the corridor. I love Marriott, but will never stay at this one again definitely. Bad and disappointing experience.

My recent visit to fairfield by Marriotte Wulin square was made incredibly pleasant, largely due to the fantastic service provided by Ms. Kelly Wang at the front desk. From the moment I checked in, Kelly's warm welcome and efficiency set a great tone for my stay. What particularly stood out was her genuine effort to accommodate my needs. She thoughtfully arranged for my room to be located right next to my parents' room, which was incredibly helpful for our family trip and something I truly appreciated. Throughout our stay, Kelly was always available and happy to assist with any queries or requests we had, making everything seamless and stress-free. Her professionalism, helpfulness, and friendly demeanor are commendable. Kelly Wang is a shining example of excellent customer service, and she significantly enhanced my overall experience at the hotel. room is small yet clean with everything needed. hotel staff was super helpful and the breakfast selection is greater than expected. Their daily food selections are different as well!

Overall a superb stay. The hotel is clean, spacious, and well-kept, with everything you would expect from a solid Marriott property. The staff deserve a special mention — genuinely excellent service, going not just the extra mile, but a few more after that. Amenities were well taken care of too, with plenty of bottled water and daily refreshes. My only, albeit slight, issue is the entrance setup: the hotel is tucked away at the back of the building, and check-in is on the 14th floor, which is not as obvious as the hotel info/pictures make it seem. Clearer signage to the right elevators (not the main ones) would make arrival much smoother. Still, once inside, it was all smooth sailing. Just make sure you ask around for directions if it your first time in Hangzhou and you'll be fine.

1. No lobby and we arrived raining didi alight us at roadside. Though no long walk but will get wet. 2. Recept at 14 flr with 2 lifts serving waited a while during peak hr 3. Bath amenities only two bottles on wall and both shower gel. Next day inform recept and get it change 4. Shower ceramic/marble seat tile collapse w a loud bang.. Lucky happened after our bath else likely will our toes will get fracture. See pic 5. Contacted recept abt it n she send a cleaning lady down n took a photo. Received a call from the recept n said will change a room for us n ask me go up to collect the door key. We will in shocked and ask her can't she send the key down. She replied will send the key via robot. The writing of the room number on the key jacket showed how this recept lady attitude toward her work. See pic.. Tell me what is the last digit.. I thought was 1 so went try open yet can't. Called her and was told is 9. Cannot imagine this kind of services this hotel providing and not even feel sorry for the guest going through this unexpected event. At the end we have to pack our stuffs and shift to the other room.
